Tributes are flowing for the two teenagers killed while driving a stolen vehicle in Melbourne’s south-east. One of the boys, 16-year-old Nicholas Crick, has been remembered in a tribute by the Kilsyth Football Club, where he was a junior player. A second car allegedly taken during the break-in is still missing.

00:51The fatal crash is one of a series of recent incidents involving youths.
00:56Last night, two teenage boys were arrested in Melbourne's CBD after a vehicle was used
01:01to ram a police car.
01:03Police allegedly finding several machetes and knives in the car.
01:06And we're seeing continuously too many young people out on the roads driving at ridiculous
01:10speeds that is putting not just them at risk, as we've seen on the weekend, but the entire
01:15community at risk.
01:16But the Premier has defended her recent crackdown on youth crime.
01:20It demonstrates why it is so important.
01:22Because this repeat pattern of behaviour can be deadly.
01:26Here at the site of the crash, friends and loved ones of the two teenagers who died have
01:30left bouquets and written tribute messages on the tree, saying things like forever in
01:35our hearts, forever loved and forever young.
01:38Police say the 16-year-old who was driving was from the Knox area, but the passenger
01:43is yet to be formally identified.
