00:00Malacanang announced the implementation of measures to encourage more investors in the Philippines who are expected to build more opportunities for Filipinos.

00:13Aside from that, Palacio also announced that they will focus on the places where they say they experienced hunger in order to meet their needs.

00:27Administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. encouraged the continuous distribution of programs aimed at providing sufficient food to the poorest Filipinos

00:40in the 300,000 households or equivalent to 1,500,000 individuals who receive P3,000 a month for food.

00:52Aside from that, we still have the DSWD program.

00:58This is the No Hunger Project Cuisinero Cook-off Challenge to improve public nutrition.

01:08And there is also the No Hunger Project that provides eligible families with electronic benefit transfer.

01:15This is P3,000 monthly food credits.

01:19The government is now studying the report of social welfare stations that said that 27.2% experienced involuntary hunger.

01:31Aside from financial assistance, the Department of Social Welfare and Development also established the No Hunger Kitchen

01:39that provides hot meals to low-income families in Pasay City.

01:45We will study where these so-called hungry Filipinos come from.

01:55And to know where this place is and if there is a shortage, we will be able to address this kind of situation.

02:05The Department of Agriculture is also pushing to increase the production of food.

02:10The agency raised P21 billion for the National Rice Program.

02:16Its goal is to increase the supply of rice while lowering the price.

02:21I do not see that there is a shortage of food.

02:25Because we have almost most of everything, especially this March, April, May, June.

02:30The Department of Trade and Industry, which helps to monitor and stop the increase in the price of rice, was appointed by the DA.

02:39We used to increase the price of rice. Now, it's really gone down to P40 to P45.

02:47Before, it was P58. Now, it's no longer P58.

02:50So, the price of rice has really dropped a lot.

02:53The Administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. will continue to make steps to encourage businessmen to move to the Philippines.

03:04The Create More Law, which gives incentives to investors in the Philippines, proves this.

03:11Tax refunds are also being implemented to foreign tourists to be able to visit our country.

03:18And our economy has improved.

03:20We will try our best. The Administration will try its best to maintain that status or to be better than that.

03:28So that we can encourage more investors to invest in our country.

03:32According to the latest Business Expectation Survey of the Central Bank of the Philippines,

03:37the confidence of businessmen under the Administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos remains at 44.5% in the last quarter of 2025.

03:47The confidence of businessmen increased in the second quarter of 2025 to 45.4%.

03:56This is a reflection of a more prosperous economy and a 56.4% business outlook for the next 12 months.

04:06It is good to see that there is still a lot of confidence in the Administration for investors to invest in our country.
