00:52Tell me, how did 15J start as a duo?

00:57Maya and I were college roommates before.

01:01We bonded by jamming and singing in our condo unit.

01:08We were given the opportunity to join a music organization

01:13and form a band.

01:15And when we formed that band,

01:17we thought, why don't we name where we started,

01:21which is Unit 15J.

01:24That's where your name comes from.

01:26That's where it all started.

01:28Yes.

01:29So now, you have a song called Semi-Ganda.

01:34What's the inspiration behind that, Maya?

01:36The biggest inspiration is our college or high school friends.

01:42The song is very conversational.

01:44That's where it was inspired.

01:46It's really meant for those who don't think they're conventionally attractive,

01:52so they try to compensate in other means.

01:54It's about confidence.

01:56Hence, Semi-Ganda.

01:58It's also inspired by my brother's stories.

02:32is the quirkiness of the song.

02:34It's very conversational compared to our other songs like Storytelling.

02:40Storytelling is also our song, but this is more conversational.
