00:00Hi and welcome back. Today I shall present some of the worst cases I've ever worked on.
00:13So without losing any time, let me show you the first one and let me tell you it was quite serious.
00:20I could sense that something was wrong with the cow's hoof,
00:28but I had to trim it with the chisel in order to have a better view.
00:31So these tiny worms that I pulled were causing a lot of trouble. Thankfully I took them out
00:47right in time so the hoof doesn't get infected or anything. So I will use the opportunity to trim,
00:53straighten and treat the hoof. After I took out all worms, I continued with the process of
01:03cauterization, which will disinfect the hoof to the fullest. Then I placed the block on top of
01:09the hoof. I applied some antiseptic spray, liquid iodine and cover the hoof with some
01:18bandage as the final treatment. Thankfully, from a bad condition, this is marked as a successful one.
01:26As I was doing a checkup on the other hoof, I already saw that there's something wrong with it.
01:37I used a sterilized disc to trim the hoof faster so I could have a look at the condition of the cow.
01:48I gently trimmed the parts of the wounded area. After that step is done, I did apply some iodine
02:06and antiseptic spray to treat it. The final step was to cover the hoof with some cotton and bandage
02:14so she won't hurt her foot while she was walking. After the treatment, the lovely cow was able to
02:32stand in her own feet. As you can see, this amazing girl was struggling to walk so I needed
02:51to look what's the matter. That's with what I was dealing with, a rusty nail that got into the cow's
03:00hoof. I was able to carefully pull the nail from the hoof since it was causing a lot of pus to come
03:12out of the hoof. I did treat the hoof and the area where I pulled the nail from.
03:42It was a good thing that I did a checkup on this cow because the other hoof was having some problems
04:06since the top part was full of cavity. After a few days, this lovely cow was able to walk like she usually did.
04:36This is another case that I have to mention today. I was doing a checkup routine at one of my friend's farms and this cow was struggling to walk.
05:06This was causing the problem. It was a hidden hole in the hoof and what was more surprising was the tiny rocks that I pulled out of it.
05:36After letting the hoof sit for a few moments, I applied some of the best items to fully treat it.
06:06Later on, I trimmed the other hoof and I saw something surprising. It was this black hole on the side of it, so I did go gently in order to trim it with the chisel.
06:36The right side of the hoof had the same problem, so I took care of that as well.
07:06This is another case that I have to mention today.
07:36Trimming the block according to the hoof size was the final step I did before I left the farm for that day, but I made sure to come back for a checkup.
08:06Thank you for watching!
