Transcript: According to China EV Post, BYD unveiled its E-VALI electric light commercial vehicle at the IAA Transportation 2024 event in Germany. The E-VALI is designed for last-mile deliveries in Europe and comes in 3.5-ton and 4.25-ton versions. It features BYD’s Blade batteries and intelligent driver assistance systems, aiming to reduce maintenance for fleet operators.

BYD also introduced the EYT 2.0, an all-electric yard tractor built for logistics hubs like ports. It can handle up to 75 tons of cargo and operate for up to 16 hours on a single charge.

Additionally, BYD announced a partnership with France's CEVA Logistics. They will deliver four ETH8 all-electric trucks to the company by January 2025, which will be used in the Netherlands.

BYD has sold over 110,000 commercial vehicles globally, with more than 85,000 of those being fully electric. From January to August this year, the company sold 9,651 commercial vehicles, marking a 9.27% increase from last year.
