00:00The Heat are a play-in tourney team in the Eastern Conference, but trying to play their
00:04best basketball to be a playoff team. They had won six straight entering last night,
00:08hoping for seven in a row. The Grizzlies, on the other hand, have dropped into that
00:12play-in tournament category around the Western Conference with a recent spell of bad play.
00:18They have lost four in a row, eight of their last 10 entering last night. So the Grizz
00:22in desperate need of a victory, and John Morant delivers a step back near the key that rattles
00:29home as Memphis wins it at the buzzer in Miami, 110-108. The Heat do cover as a five-point
00:36home underdog. John Morant still using the finger guns, even though the NBA told him not to,
00:42at least gets to celebrate at the buzzer with a huge win for Memphis in a time they really
00:47needed a dub. Yeah, boy, do they need that is exactly correct. And also, how about the
00:51Miami Heat, though? You play in Boston. You know you're giving up for that game. Maybe you've got
00:54to fly home. You've got to play a Memphis Grizzlies team that absolutely needs a victory,
00:58and you play well. At least your superstars came to play. Bam out of Bayou, 34 minutes on
01:01a back-to-back, 26 points in that game. Tyler Hero, 37 minutes, 12 of 23 from the floor for 35
01:08total points here. We'll see how the Heat go. Do we expect big things in the playoffs from them?
01:12Not necessarily, but they are playing decent basketball, 35 and 42, playing much better than
01:16that. I thought the Grizzlies would win once again, and I thought they would cover. They
01:19didn't cover, but they got the win, and boy, did they need that. And again, for the Heat,
01:23it's good performance on a back-to-back against a team desperately needing that victory.
