00:00In a recent video, I made this app cover realistic, and you guys seemed to like it.

00:04So today, I'm gonna take photos from the game Dumb Ways to Die,

00:07and then I'm gonna make them more realistic in Photoshop.

00:10But before we start, I do have to warn you, there is gonna be a little bit of blood.

00:15Alright, let's begin.

00:16I watched a video showing all the deaths in the game,

00:18and these are the three deaths that I want to make realistic.

00:21That... that sounds horrible.

00:23First, we got this guy who doesn't know how to use scissors.

00:26Then next, we got this guy being swarmed with bees.

00:29And finally, we got this guy with no head.

00:31And I'm thinking we start off with the scissors.

00:33So let's see how this even happened.

00:41First, I need to make the background.

00:42So I got this carpet texture and made it look like the floor.

00:45I also added a white wall behind it.

00:47But next, I took a piece of paper and drew a heart on it like the original had,

00:51and then made some cuts in the paper.

00:53I added the piece of paper on the ground like the original,

00:56and also added the random piece,

00:57and then added a small drop shadow on the paper.

01:00I used the eclipse tool to make a circle,

01:02and then used the warp tool to shape it more like the character's body,

01:05and then drew the rest of the limbs with the brush tool.

01:07After that, I added a skin texture around the body,

01:10and shaped it to look more natural,

01:12and then blended them together.

01:13Maybe the word natural isn't the best, but you know what I mean.

01:16Next, I added a shadow, but only wanted it on the torso,

01:19so I erased the shadow everywhere else.

01:21But then I added some shadows on the outside of some parts,

01:24like the legs and feet.

01:25And the next step was to recreate the face.

01:27So I traced over the mouth and eyes,

01:29and then added a realistic eyeball on each side.

01:32But this looked insanely cursed,

01:33so I looked at some other eyeballs for reference,

01:36and then tried to make it look a little bit more normal.

01:38Keyword tried.

01:40After that, I thought it would be funny to add some eyebrows,

01:42so I added some eyebrows.

01:44But I want to get to the blood.

01:45But before we do that, we have to add some scissors.

01:47So I added some scissors,

01:49and then colored the handle blue like the original.

01:51And then I just put it in his head.

01:53So I added some dripping blood coming from the wound,

01:55and then cleaned it up a little bit.

01:57I also added some lighting coming from the right side of the screen,

02:00because the shadows are on the left.

02:01And then I added some shadows for the scissors,

02:04which was kind of confusing.

02:05But then I decided there's not enough blood,

02:07so I added more blood on the character's head and on the scissors.

02:10Following that, I added some more shadows on the character,

02:13as well as a shadow on the ground.

02:15I also tried to put some pants on him,

02:17but that it just didn't work out well.

02:18Here's a picture of it.

02:20We're not going to go with that one.

02:21So this is the final product.

02:32For the second image, we're going to recreate the bee picture.

02:41Oh.

02:41But the first thing I did was draw the character's limbs,

02:44as well as making an oval to recreate the body.

02:46Next, I drew the bee's nest on the left,

02:48and added a bee's nest kind of texture.

02:50Shortly after, I added some grass on the ground,

02:52and added some shadows on the bee's nest.

02:54After that, I drew the face and added a lemon texture on the body,

02:58because this character makes me think of a lemon.

03:00I added some shadows coming from the character,

03:02and made him a little more orange,

03:03because we're going to add some bees, which are black and yellow.

03:06But first, I added some lines on the bee's nest to make it look more real.

03:10And then I added a bevel and emboss,

03:12which I also added to the character for some more depth.

03:14And in addition to that,

03:15I made the hole in the bee's nest look more like a hole.

03:18And finally, I added a bunch of bees on top of the corpse,

03:21and added some bite marks as well.

03:23So, this is the final image.

03:37For this image, we gotta make it look like a bear

03:39has bitten the head off of this character.

03:41This is gonna be pretty fun.

03:42Let's see how he died.

03:48So, no head.

03:48First, I added a dirt ground texture,

03:50and made it look like the ground.

03:52Next, I faded it out and added some trees in the background,

03:55as well as cut out the background from this bear image.

03:58After adding the bear to the image,

03:59I added a stick on the ground,

04:01because he was poking the bear.

04:03I mean, that's how he died.

04:04And then I traced out the character.

04:05I added a little texture on the character,

04:21and also added a bevel and emboss,

04:23and then a shadow on the ground.

04:25Following that, I changed the color on the bear a little bit,

04:28and added some guts inside the character.

04:30After contemplating my life a little bit,

04:32I added some blood on the body,

04:33and added a motion blur to make it look like it's...

04:36It's squirting out of it.

04:38And finally, I added some blood on the bear's fur,

04:40and then on its mouth.

04:45So this is my final image.

04:56I think my favorite is the first one,

04:58because of how cursed the skin texture looks.

05:00But I also like the gore of the last one.

05:02And I kind of just feel bad for the guy that got stung by the bees.
