Transcript
00:00Hi, I'm Claire Henderson and I'm here at the City Wolverhampton College's exhibition for a fantastic body of work on display by our students from Level 3, Year 1, Creative Practice in Art, Design and Communication.
00:13The students were set an assignment to respond to the word charity, where they had to pick their own charity based on their own needs and interests.
00:21So we've got a huge range of charities chosen from Mind through to Cats Protection, Safe Gigs for Women and Cancer Research UK.
00:30Students went about producing work in both 2D, 3D and 4D outcomes and produced this work over a couple of months earlier in the year.
00:39We're really proud of the work that the students have put on display and the students have also learned a little bit about how you put on an art exhibition.
00:46So we've got students from Art, Design and Photography here at the City of Wolverhampton College that have this exhibition.
00:52We've got the opening private view this evening and then the exhibition is open from the 28th of April through to Friday the 23rd of May.
01:01It's open daily at our Padgett Road campus between 10 and 3, so please do come and see with the work produced by our fantastic students.
