Londoners get sneak peak of Nintendo Switch 2 as US presale delayed   The Nintendo Switch 2 is unveiled in London on April 11, 2025 as its US presale has been delayed. The event in London gave gamers a sneak peak of the new console ahead of its official release on June 5. Nintendo delayed the start of pre-orders for the Switch 2 gaming device in the United States as it examines the potential impact of tariffs. Pre-orders will not start on April 9 in the US "in order to assess the potential impact of tariffs and evolving market conditions," Nintendo said in a statement.
