00:00Well, let's also see what we can do about the next injury.
00:02Pablo Lopez, 15-day IL with a hamstring issue.
00:05So the good news here, it's not an arm issue.
00:07The bad news is it's still an issue that's going to mean he's going to miss weeks.
00:13Who knows? Could even be a month.
00:14You never know. There's no timetable quite yet for Pablo Lopez return.
00:18But better be safe than sorry, especially in April.
00:20So I know what the Twins are doing here, and this is the right call to put him on the IL,
00:23not try to push things too much and give him some time.
00:25Now, the good news for the Twins is you've got a couple guys that can fill that role.
00:28David Festa was terrible in the spring, but last year,
00:32after first two starts that were awful as well, he was a very good pitcher for the Twins.
00:36He got major league experience. He got the first call, the first look.
00:39There's also a player we're going to talk about in prospect watch,
00:41Zebby Matthews, that I think also in deeper leagues is worth a stash
00:44because it's not just Pablo Lopez who's going to be missing here.
00:47Eventually, you're going to have to boot Simeon Woods-Richardson,
00:49I think, out of this rotation. He's got an ERA well over five.
00:52To me, if you're the Twins, you got to get serious here.
00:55The Guardian's gotten off to kind of a mid-start here.
00:58They've got some bullpen issues going on.
01:00Who'd have thought that would be the case?
01:02But you're the Twins. You need to go out there and throw quality starts.
01:05And if you have the pitching to do that, use it.
01:08Use the kids. Festa, Zebby Matthews.
01:11So, again, this is not the worst-case scenario if you have Pablo Lopez.
01:14But in the meantime, it certainly does hurt your ability to compete on a weekly basis
01:18until he comes back because he's one of the more durable pitchers
01:21that we've had in fantasy baseball the last three years.
