00:00Can you just give us an insight into the mood of the dressing room?
00:04Are there nerves or is it belief, confidence?
00:08The mood is great.
00:10Definitely it's not nerves, it's confidence.
00:13It's being able to replicate what we did in the first game and come here for the win.
00:23You followed Real Madrid when you were younger.
00:26What would it mean to you to be part of a team that could knock them out of this competition?
00:32I wouldn't say I followed Real Madrid, I just followed Casillas.
00:35As I said always, it was my idol, but we know how big of a club it is and it would be great to knock them out.
00:45Alex.
00:45Hi David.
00:46Lots is made about Real Madrid and their ability to turn games around and the atmosphere they can create in a stadium.
00:52What can you do as a player when momentum is building?
00:56How can you stop it on the pitch?
00:58We have the momentum, I think.
01:01The way we play, the way we faced in the first leg is incredible from everyone.
01:09We're here just to create our own history to win the game, to come in and win the game.
01:15That's the most important thing.
01:16Tom, did you have a question?
01:24Hi David.
01:25You've been at the club now for a couple of seasons.
01:27When you joined, did you imagine that you'd be in this scenario perhaps as quickly as it's come to play against a team like Real Madrid in this stage of the competition?
01:35Well, when I started playing for Arsenal, we were in the Champions League, so I was convinced that we were going to play against the best teams in Europe in this competition.
01:46But you want to play against the best if you want to win trophies.
01:51So, we were convinced that we were going to do well last season and hopefully even better this season.
01:59Hi David.
02:00It's commonly known that the goalkeeper position, it can be the loneliest on the pitch.
02:05We talk a lot about in the big matches, training well, preparing your body well.
02:08But how do you actually train your mind ahead of big fixtures like this?
02:12Well, you try to be focused on what you can control.
02:16You can control your actions, you can control what you do and you cannot control the outside and the noise and all that.
02:23So, you have to be very, very focused on what you can do and of course, believe in yourself.
02:29That's the most important thing.
02:31Yeah, next one here.
02:32David, keeping the crowd quiet here.
02:35It's been mentioned before, it's been mentioned earlier with the Real Madrid press conference.
02:40It's going to be difficult.
02:41We all know that even though you have the momentum.
02:44How have you spoken about that and how do you propose to try to keep them quiet in the stadium?
02:50Well, like I said, that's something that we cannot control.
02:53That is out of our control.
02:54The fans, the stadium, the atmosphere, maybe the shows that they have in the stadium and all that.
03:01So, that is out of control.
03:02We cannot think about that.
03:04We just have to think about ourselves, what we can control on the pitch, with the ball, play the same way that we played in the first game and create chances and score goals.
03:15We come here just to win the game.
03:19Isan?
03:19Hi, in the first half, especially early on, you made a couple of saves against, I think, Zimbabwe and Vinny Jr. as well through the game.
03:28What was it like for you as a keeper going up against them kind of players and how alert do you guys need to be to make sure that with their pace they don't get any such opportunities in this league?
03:36Luckily, I think we faced a lot of good players in the Premier League and everybody is ready for the challenge.
03:44We know how good the attacking Madrid is.
03:48But everybody is on their toes, no matter who we play.
03:52So, we just have to see it the same way as another game.
03:57It's another game as it could be playing against another opponent.
04:02So, we just have to be focusing on ourselves and just be ready for anything that can happen.
04:08John?
04:08Hello, David.
04:10The team played so well, particularly in the second half after you'd gone ahead.
04:14You know, you really went on the front foot.
04:16Is that your intention tomorrow night?
04:18Do you have to go for it as much as anything?
04:21The intention is to win the game.
04:23That doesn't matter what.
04:24We know how we played in the first game and we have to do the same.
04:29We have to do the same, approach it the same way.
04:33We know we have a lead, but we come here just to win the game.
04:37Miguel, just that.
04:39Hi, David.
04:40Madrid are relentlessly talking about remontadas and the history and experience.
04:45And it almost feels like an attempt as much to put pressure on Arsenal.
04:48Has the manager done anything this week to shut all that out or change focus?
04:54We are here just to write our own history.
04:57I think winning the game and getting through to the semi-finals,
05:01that's what we want to do and that's what we're going to try and achieve tomorrow.
05:05But like I said, we're here just to recreate our own history.
05:11James will do last two in English, so one from James and then...
05:15David, there was a lot of focus on Jakub Kivior before the first game.
05:19Obviously, it's a come in at short notice, played very well, handled it very well.
05:23How impressed were you by him coming in in that back line
05:26and how confident are you you can do it again tomorrow?
05:28I wasn't impressed because I know how good Jakub is.
05:33And I'm very, very convinced and confident with him stepping in after the big injury
05:40that Gabi sustained against Fulham.
05:44So I wasn't surprised about his performance.
05:48I thought he was very, very, very good.
05:50And we know how good he is.
05:52He shows in training every day.
05:53So I was very, very happy with his performance because that gives him confidence.
06:00But like I said, I wasn't surprised.
06:02It was a matter of time they can show his quality.
06:05And last one in English.
06:07Hi David, here.
06:09A lot of talk about beating Real Madrid and comebacks,
06:11but I guess you must think there's a real opportunity here to get to the semi-final
06:15and also potentially win this competition now.
06:18Yeah, of course.
06:19I think that's why we play in the Champions League.
06:21I think you want to win the trophy.
06:23If not, you don't play.
06:25But we have to be focused on tomorrow to win the game tomorrow.
06:29And we will see what happens.
06:30And then from there we just go day by day.
06:35Hola, David.
06:36¿Qué tal?
06:36Buenas tardes.
06:36Bienvenido a España.
09:46Muchas gracias.
