00:00La primera pregunta, me voy a tomar la libertad de hacerla yo.
00:03My first question is going to be for Nate.
00:06It's been a while since 2017 when you won the QPJ Tour card here in Corales.
00:11So I want to know, I know your life changed because you said it before.
00:15But now, what's happening between 2017 and 2025?
00:22Well, a lot of golf, a lot of travel.
00:25I've been here almost every year.
00:26I think I've only missed it one year just due to injury.
00:30But, yeah, I guess playing the QPJ Tour, it's a great experience.
00:36You get to see places like this and really enjoy meeting new people
00:41and coming to different parts of the world.
00:43So it's been a lot of travel.
00:45It's been a lot of fun.
00:46And I just look forward to hopefully some more of it.
00:49The last three holes here are the Devil's Elbow, 16, 17, and 18.
00:56Which one of those is your favorite?
00:57And is there a particular reason why?
01:00You're looking at me, so I'm guessing you're talking to me.
01:05It said 16, 17, and 18.
01:08Okay, let me think here.
01:0916, we're down the hill towards the ocean.
01:1217, the part of the 3, and 18.
01:14I mean, probably 18.
01:16I mean, you don't get many holes like that other than, you know, to see places like Pebble Beach.
01:21You know, when you get just a spectacular hole along the ocean like that, just right on the coast.
01:28And I mean, I'd say 18 is probably the most beautiful and probably the most difficult hole of the three.
01:33But, you know, the whole golf course is great.
01:36It's a good test.
01:38It's, you know, it plays, you know, fairly long.
01:42You've got to hit quality iron shots.
01:44It's always a little breezy here, so it makes players, you know, hit different shots.
01:48So, but it's just a quality golf course, and we look forward to going back to reach you.
01:53And secondly, you've won a couple of times.
01:56You've won on the PGA Tour, but when you won here, and that was a little while ago,
02:00but what do you specifically remember?
02:02What were your emotions like when that breakthrough victory happened?
02:05And can you recall, like, the next few days, how you celebrated?
02:08What was that like?
02:10You know, I was, I can't remember how many shots behind I was, three or four shots behind.
02:15I think I shot six under the front of our own.
02:17And I knew I was right there, but, you know, coming down the stretch,
02:22sometimes you don't know exactly what's going on, what other players are doing.
02:25They're a few holes behind.
02:26I just remember getting to 18, and I think I saw a leaderboard, and I saw that I had a one-shot lead.
02:32And obviously, 18's not the easiest at tee shot.
02:35I'm not the longest players that can just pump it over that bunker in the middle of the fairway.
02:40I remember being pretty nervous on that tee shot and just thinking,
02:43hey, let's get something in the fairway, get it on the green, two-plug, get out of here,
02:46and hopefully nobody behind me makes a birdie.
02:49So, luckily, that worked out for me.
02:52Obviously, winning the tournament, that gave me enough points right there to gain my PGA Tour card.
02:58So, emotionally, it was very special.
03:01Something I'll never forget.
03:03And I'll always, you know, enjoy coming back to this place because of that.
03:05And just finally, coming into this week, I'm not sure how much you've played,
03:11but if you would have had some good contentment, what do you think those feelings would be like coming down the stretch?
03:17Well, probably even more.
03:19I mean, obviously, winning on the PGA Tour is even more difficult than winning on the Corn Fairy Tour.
03:23But any time you have a chance to win out on either of these tours, it's special.
03:28And, you know, you're going to get those butterflies and nerves,
03:31and you just hope to control them and be able to plumb yourself down enough to get good shots.
03:35Thank you.
03:37Thank you.
