Lucknow News: Major sabotage attempt foiled, wooden log found on railway track in Rahimabad

A fresh attempt to derail a train in Lucknow has been exposed, raising serious concerns over passenger safety. The incident occurred in the Rahimabad area, where a large wooden log was found deliberately placed on the railway track near Dilavar Nagar. The sabotage came to light when UP Loco Train No. 577 collided with the log. Fortunately, the train was moving at a low speed, preventing a major accident.The incident shocked the Railway Protection Force (RPF), who rushed to the scene and removed the log from the track. According to officials, the wooden trunk was dry and had an orange cloth wrapped around it, suggesting a deliberate act to mislead or disrupt the railway system. The Station Master at Rahimabad immediately alerted the RPF upon discovering the obstruction.This is not the first time such a dangerous plot has been uncovered in Lucknow, pointing towards a worrying trend. Authorities have launched an investigation to trace those behind the act and have increased surveillance in the region.
