Iran has issued a sharp warning to Washington after U.S. Special Envoy Steve Eitkoff demanded that Tehran "stop and eliminate" its nuclear enrichment program. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei accused the U.S. of “moving the goalposts,” calling the shift a "professional foul" that could derail all progress in the ongoing negotiations.

The demand directly contradicts earlier U.S. positions that accepted low-level enrichment for peaceful energy purposes. With tensions rising and mistrust deepening, Iran is now questioning the seriousness of Washington’s commitment to a fair deal.
