Aviation enthusiast captures powerful flyover of Spitfires and Hurricanes in rare formation

Steven was fortunate enough to witness a marvelously intimidating moment — and thoughtful enough to capture and share it with his social media family.

"As an aviation enthusiast who also works in the aviation industry, I wanted to witness this very rare moment of a mass gathering of Spitfires and Hurricanes flying together," Steven told WooGlobe. "This sight made me wonder what the skies must have looked like during WW2."

It takes the jets only a few seconds to enter and exit the scene, but the impression they leave on Steven — and the viewers — is bound to last for hours, if not days.
