00:00And the winner is Presidential School in Tashkent!
00:11It was actually really amazing to hear ourselves as winners
00:15and we had adrenalin, adrenalin hit
00:19and then it was one of the best moments in life, I can say surely.
00:23We received a prize at the start of the week, so that week was super amazing
00:36because we had a very good mood as we won the prize.
00:43Baklavan and Asilvik, they are very active students.
00:46They are always keen on making new things.
00:49They are always keen on helping the community.
00:52They always come to me with their brilliant ideas to help people in Tashkent and Uzbekistan.
00:59As you know, our country is located in the place where it is far from the oceans and water.
01:07So this project is about collecting rainwater, filtering it and giving the people
01:14who do not have access to clean water, drinking water.
01:19When our students were awarded by Sheikh Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, we are really proud of our students
01:28and our students were very happy.
01:30We came up with this idea when we were outside of the school.
01:42We were all just walking and then it was raining, so we had an idea like the white rain
01:46and then we can't use it for some useful things.
01:49So it was the first point when we came up with the idea.
01:54And then after this, we kind of tried to make some plans to take some steps
02:00like how can we implement the project in Uzbekistan.
02:06And then like after we heard that there is like a price, a sustainability price.
02:11We like first researched about it, like what requirements are there.
02:15And then after that, we had like plans.
02:18So how we do it.
02:19And yes, I guess after the plans, like we worked on it each day, like till the deadline.
02:26And then we have a last step left, which is implementing the project.
02:30When we work on a project, we try our best to make it sustainable.
02:35So it will not harm our own planet, our mother planet.
02:40It should be cultural.
02:42So it will be based on the place that project is going to be held.
02:48For example, our filtration system have been adapted to the nature of Kashkadaria.
02:55And we try to help people as much as we can by our project.
03:02So our vision is to change the use of Uzbekistan.
03:08We are actually working on our project.
03:11It's a secret.
03:12So what kind of project is it?
03:13But the thing is like it can impact the whole youth of Uzbekistan.
03:18And we want to make a contribution including all the regions of Uzbekistan.
03:24Like all the students from rural or urban areas.
03:28It doesn't matter.
03:29And we want to do many more projects like this.
03:32And we want to, you know, combine all the ideas and do something impactful in our country and in the world in the future.
03:41Our school is a presidential school in Tashkent.
03:50And our school has been made by our president trying to make the future leaders of Uzbekistan.
03:56We do study like big range of subjects like economics, business, biology, chemistry, math, computer science.
04:05For example, my options are biology and chemistry because in future I want to become a biotechnologist.
04:11We have a Cambridge curriculum.
04:13So like we have a variety of topics we can choose from.
04:16It's actually the Cambridge, like Cambridge schools subjects.
04:21And myself, I study economics, physics because like I want to be an economist in the future.
04:27But also I want to make some innovation.
04:29And so I just, you know, take one of the social sciences and one of the STEM subjects which is physics and economics.
04:36The most important thing is to start.
04:38It doesn't matter where you start.
04:40But like if you start early, which means that you have more time to develop, to, you know, to work on more projects.
04:46So which means you may be successful in the future.
