00:20over the weekend.
00:21You were out doing the pre-show for the Pearl Jam show at Wrigley Field.
00:25So how was that?
00:26It was awesome.
00:27I mean, it was just a fantastic time.
00:29We love going to Chicago as it is.
00:31So it was nice to go there, play a show.
00:34And that show happened to be the pre-show for a band that we love.
00:38So yeah, very, very, very fun.
00:40And you guys stayed for the show, right?
00:41Oh yeah.
00:42And how was it?
00:43It was amazing.
00:44It was like 40,000 people and just, you know, the field was jammed.
00:48Like that was where the general admission was, was in the outfield.
00:51And I was like, the grounds crew the next day is going to have a hard day.
00:56For sure.

00:59So, um, I read in your bio, um, that one of your biggest dreams was to headline at Joe
01:03Lewis arena.
01:04Yes, that's true.
01:06A hundred percent.
01:07I forgot about that until right now.
01:08Yeah.
01:09Well, and now, um, with our new arena, Little Caesars.
01:12Joe Lewis.
01:13Can we transition the dream to that?
01:14Yeah.
01:15We'll have to, we'll have to transition that.
01:16We'll just move dreams.
01:17So you guys grew up in Windsor.
01:18So, um, and it seemed like a lot of your influence as the MC5 and the Stooges, Alice
01:22Cooper.
01:23So what was the influence of Detroit?
01:24Did you guys come over here a lot as kids and go to shows?
01:27All the time.
01:28Yep.
01:29All the time.
01:30Like it's Detroit was kind of running through our blood our entire lives just
01:33because we've been here.
01:34We've grown up here.
01:35Awesome.
01:36Yeah.
01:37We're happy to have you guys.
01:38So, um, and then I also read that, um, the album is kind of like a transitioning into adulthood,
01:46which I think relates to a lot of millennials.
01:48You guys look like we're probably all about the same age.
01:50Um, and I think it's a little bit different and I don't like using the word millennial because
01:54I think it gets kind of a bad rap, but I think we're all out here working hard and
01:57I think it's a great message to follow your dreams and maybe not, uh, go on the straight
02:02and narrow.
02:03And is that how you guys kind of live your life?
02:04Uh, just outside of doing the music thing.
02:06I would say so.
02:07You know, I, I feel like that was kind of one of the songs that I wrote from, from personal
02:12experience.
02:13So yes, for sure.
02:14It's, uh, definitely about kind of taking that leap, even though you might not really
02:18know what's going to happen, but it's still important to, to take the leap anyway.
02:22Yeah.
02:23Right.
02:24So for sure.
02:25I definitely draw from experience.
02:26What about you?
02:27Yeah, no, it's the same sort of thing.
02:28We were, um, we met in high school and, um, we were friends all through university and
02:34university was when we decided to start playing music together.
02:37Um, and it was just sort of this decision like, you know, we're, we're doing the traditional
02:42path right now.
02:43We're going to school and then looking for jobs, but at the same time, this is what we
02:47want to do.
02:48And, um, there came a point where we had to make a decision.
02:51It's going to be one or the other.
02:52And this is where we ended up.
02:54So awesome.
