00:28oh yeah i'm in your house now you know exactly i'm honored i'm honored to be a guest at your crib
00:33so it's all that man so this is a nut house yes sir so whenever we say the nut house uh-huh say
00:37nut house nut house there it is all right i remember yeah yeah i appreciate that appreciate
00:42that well man so i'm gonna be a part of the nut house there it is pause uh buck buck actually put
00:50me on okay boys so he knows i'm a product of the 90s okay so he came in and was like yo are you real
00:56god to listen to this album okay so and i didn't get to it right away so he comes back in he was
01:03like yo have you listened to corday yet and i was like no i just haven't got to oh man shut out buck
01:08yeah bro real one yo so when i finally get it and i finally get a chance to sit down and listen to it
01:15uh-huh normally because we see each other every day yeah i would have waited the next day been like
01:21yo the record's fire i literally called him oh that's crazy i was done and been like yo oh that's
01:28love oh that's real love i personally think it's album of the year and i'm not just saying that
01:32because you're here thank you i appreciate that but it's just it's so refreshing to hear an album
01:38like this oh thank you man i appreciate that the amount of production the the lyrics and just
01:44everything is fire oh man thank you so much man i appreciate that that's love
01:49um i do have a question man your pre-styles i've been noticing it's lyrically crazy oh thank you
01:55um and i noticed in the past interviews you you talked about like the big l's and the jay-z's and
01:59whatnot um tell your dad i'm happy that he put you on those artists yeah for sure i got you we we
02:05mister we get our little conversation when it comes to music about like artists your age yeah and
02:09then you hear the other artists be like man can we get back to like the real lyrics type of stuff and
02:14when i heard your album i was like i woke up i'm like there's hope oh for sure i appreciate that
02:20you know i feel like you're the new wave right now when it comes to like the kendra lamar's and and
02:25and jay cole's how did you team up with jay cole to produce the r uh the rmp song so um it's funny
02:32we did that like a week after the the bt wars of 2018 okay so the bt wars of 2018 and um he came up
02:40to me and just like two weeks after old niggas came out right so he walked up to me was like yo
02:44i'm rooting for you i love what you're doing and uh we exchanged numbers and he texted me
02:48and um and i i told him i was gonna be in north carolina in like a week or two because my family
02:55live out there and so i was out there and i hit him up and he hit me and he fucking like scooped me
03:00from my aunt's house and actually i never told this story crazy he actually like scooped me from my
03:05aunt house and shit and uh we cooked up in uh at the shelter and uh that was one of the first beats and i
03:10actually did a completely different song to that beat and i played that uh that that song for ap and
03:15he was like i don't really love the song but i really like this beat and he didn't even know that
03:20jay cole produced it and i'm like and it's very few people that i'll like i take critique you know
03:27what i'm saying but it's very few people that i'll they'll be like yo i don't like this song you just
03:31play me but i like this beat let's do something to it you know what i'm saying i would be if it was
03:35nine anybody else i'd be like hell no but it's ap and i'm like all right let's try something so we
03:40was in the studio in a radio room just like this actually and uh we was going i was like one of
03:45y'all niggas going and i know he has a really cool voice and i was like yo you gotta say that
03:48so we in uh the studio we just going back and forth on it and then i sent it the call and he was like
03:53whoa like yeah nah bro and even the video itself oh i appreciate that i had to watch it a couple times
04:00like y'all are really getting to the 70s groove yeah nah it was a it was a vibe it was uh based
04:06upon like i forgot the cat's name but um it was like you know them like back in the 70s you know
04:12nba players wasn't getting paid like that right so uh you know it was like a bunch of like it's a
04:16bunch of legends and myths not myths a bunch of legends that like was like at the uh at ruckus like
04:22giving nba niggas buckets you know what i'm saying like was dropping like 70 on them but they
04:27ain't go to the nba because they was making like so much street money right they was just in the streets
04:30so it was kind of like based off that so it was dope dope man did you have as much say in in the
04:36video as you did with yeah for sure i'm i'm very hands-on with all my creative stuff because the
04:41fans can tell like if that's just a treatment or something that's orchestrated by a label or
04:46something versus like when the artist's hands is in everything i feel like it's it's way better and
04:51then i couldn't sleep if like i'd rather like if something go wrong i'd rather be like oh that was
04:56on me you know what i'm saying versus man i should have took you know what i'm saying leaving the
05:00i'd rather like if it's an l i'd rather it'd be like oh i shouldn't have did that oh well it's
05:04you know what i'm saying versus like oh i should have like nah did you also handpick the features
05:09that you have yeah every everything was super like me i did the the track list i'm i'm hands-on on a
05:15lot of the production like when cole sent that beat it didn't have the drops we put in the drops
05:19it didn't have the uh the sample at the beginning of it it didn't even have the yeah like we i added all
05:24that extra stuff you know with some friends my brother dim joints uh he added the sounds
05:29on that and kid and um yeah you know i came with the track list all that is me you know i'm saying
05:36i executive produced the whole thing you know but uh yeah i did the whole thing really essentially
05:41just with the the order the you know the cover art you know my brother you know like just i'm very
05:47hands-on in my stuff i'm super like meticulous so with the features it was the same way really you
05:52know i gotta take you to church real quick okay yeah that's my actual grandmother bro when i heard
05:59this i ain't gonna lie tear came to my eye oh that's dumb i'm from like like it's church yeah for
06:05sure the soul in it bros yeah nah i found out that was your grandmother i was like man that's like me
06:10being at the church church house yeah you didn't want to go to church you know what with that i
06:14apologize to interrupt you good it was uh i did that i did like a video with my grandmother it's a
06:19matter of fact it's on my ground and i just put i had my boy put a piano behind it and my homie sir
06:25like add some background vocals so it was originally like this video right here
06:30i went to go visit her you know he had no piano no nothing so i took this took this synced it up
06:40the pro tools the audio and then we like added the piano behind it added my boy's vocals behind it
06:45just turning into like some real musical yo bro that's a blessing that's real for sure hey we can
06:50see her keep talking but let's go ahead and jump into the rnp song right now we got more according
06:54day here wild 94 one side the nut house nut house yep oh nut house there you go it's gonna take a little
07:01time yeah yeah okay yeah yeah i had the point that was good that was good uh it's wild 94 one you

07:12were talking about the gram earlier uh and what i everybody's seeing this on social media right now
07:18is the uh the 10 albums for 10 days that inspired you the most yeah what would be your 10 oh okay

07:32okay you got illmatic you got blueprint you got good kid mad city you got uh i gotta throw
07:42808s and heartbreaks out there too you got um i don't want to put three kanye albums that's all
07:49right your list no judging uh my beautiful dark twisted fantasy gotta put that if i had to choose
07:58between that and 808s i don't know uh 2014 forest hills drive uh nothing was the same the drake album
08:09um
08:11marshall madden's lp either that or the slim shady lp one of those and these are just albums that i like
08:21just like i remember a point in time where i was you know what i'm saying like it just takes me back
08:26to like that was that's all i was listening to for like six months straight you know what i'm saying
08:29and then uh
08:30i know it's 10 and we i hate you i'm at nine now i'm at nine um
08:40i'm trying to think it's probably in no ceilings lorwayne okay or the carter three one of those two
08:48is there a specific like artist or album that when you heard that yeah coming up that that kind of
08:56puts you on the path of like where you are now i don't know i can't just say it is this one album
09:04it's a combination you know what i'm saying i'm such a uh uh just a head you know what i'm saying
09:08i just love hip-hop i love this shit so i can't just contribute it to one album but it's just several
09:13it's all those 10 i just listed man have a huge impact on me musically and personally just as a
09:18human being you know what i'm saying like just me naming those albums just brought back like a
09:22nostalgia to where i was at that time you know i'm saying good kid mad city came out i was in ninth
09:26grade and i was always telling niggas about kendrick and then he dropped that and everybody
09:31was on the wave then like 2014 forest hills drive that was my senior year of high school you know
09:36what i'm saying so that was like a big album for that moment nothing was the same you know the
09:40kanye albums all those joints like college dropout you know i was like seven i remember my folks was

13:05i had to figure out like how can i like record and you know like come up with a whole like concept
13:10you know a body of work while on the road but uh i've been getting to that just working man just
13:14working is it hard to be on the on the bus just traveling and and still trying to write new material
13:21nah i just you know what you know it's funny i did before i couldn't do that but i i literally
13:25just broke through that barrier yesterday like two days ago so yeah it's a lot more music to come
