Battle of the biscuits at the Return to the Wye Steampunk day with MC Tink Bell explaining the rules.
Transcript
00:00And let that happen first, and I'll explain the rules.
00:05Here we go. As you can see, the tea is indeed very hot.
00:09So, these gentlemen will choose their weapons-wise.
00:13In this case, it is malted milk, because it is the most dunkable crumbly biscuit.
00:19I will count to three. They will dunk their biscuit, and when I say out, they will move their biscuit from the steaming input.
00:26They will then eyeball each other.
00:29And whoever's biscuit crumbles first is elusive.
00:34However, in the Welsh rules, there is a way out of this.
00:39And if you see a biscuit begin to bend, and believe me, it's got to bend,
00:45you can do a thing called a clean snatch, whereby you fling the biscuit into your open mouth before it falls.
00:52However, this is double jeopardy, because you get it on your shirt front, or your chin, or the table,
00:58or the teacup, or anywhere, you lose.
01:01And as before, because we're all steampunked, because we believe in fairness,
01:07the loser must hang their head in shame.
01:10What will you do, child?
01:11Shame, shame, shame.
01:13And they will never again hold their head up in society.
01:17So, before this tea gets me cooler, gentlemen, choose your weapons.
01:22Oh, there's a lot of psyching out going on already.
01:28This is an intensely psychological game here.
01:31So we have, oh, now it's getting serious.
01:35But I have to say, Charlie's barely noticed.
01:38Are we ready, gentlemen?
01:39On the count of three.
01:42One, two, three, duck.
01:45And hold, and hold, and out.
01:49And this is where the scap...
01:51Oh!
01:52Straight away!
01:54Shame, shame, shame.
01:58Charlie, you're through to round two.
01:59Two.
02:00Two.
02:00Two.
02:01Three.
