LSG have the team to win IPL 2025: Assistant coach Klusener makes bold claim

LSG assistant coach Lance Klusener feels that Lucknow has the team to go all the way in IPL 2025 and win their first title. LSG have won 4 out of their 7 matches and remain in the hunt for a place in the playoffs.

00:00Yeah, I mean, I think he's just been going from strength to strength by his own high standards.

00:05He's probably had a little bit of a slow start, but as the competition has gone on, he's just got better and better.

00:11And I thought he played a good hand in the last game as well.

00:14And it goes like that with Barker and bowling four overs of spin as well.

00:17I thought he bowled extremely well.

00:19Sometimes it's not easy to make sure that everybody gets their quota in,

00:24especially if you're bowling, I think it was 11 overs of spin in the end.

00:28So, yeah, lots of things on the side.

00:33My point is that Ravi's just getting better and better, and he's back in his home state and hometown.

00:39And we're looking forward to another good performance from him.

00:42Do you believe that you have the team to make it to the playoffs and make it to the finals?

00:47Yeah, we have the team to win this competition.

00:49I think at the end of the day, we probably need to beat ourselves.

00:57We need to be better than ourselves.

00:58We need to get over a few hurdles as we go.

01:01And probably for us, the biggest obstacle for us going very deep into the competition is ourselves.

01:09And we just need to find a way to make sure that we've got everyone performing to their best ability.

01:35The weather is a little bit different to what we're coming from.

01:40But we've had two or three days now to get used to and two good practice sessions, I guess, before the game.

01:47But it's just important that we embrace the conditions.

01:50There's no point coming here and complaining about the heat or the surface or the outfield or the dew or whatever it is.

01:55We need to make peace with the conditions, embrace those conditions, and put up a good performance tomorrow.
