00:00I am extremely lucky to be in the Animal Care Center area
00:06because I have never in 22 years had the fortune of being able to raise cheetah cubs.
00:14We have the cubs in a large nursery area, which is very visible to the public.
00:24We have a trio that we're hand-raising to be animal ambassadors.
00:28Shaili, Taraji, and Johari were born May 24th.
00:35They were rejected by their mother, and we have the good fortune of being able to raise them here
00:41at the San Diego Zoo's Wild Animal Park.
00:45This is Lynn Diwe. She's our single cub, and she's three weeks younger,
00:50so she's got a lot of catching up to do, but she's pretty bold,
00:55and they play pretty rough with her, and she'll keep coming back for more.
01:02They eat, they play, and they catnap, and then they're ready to go again.
01:08What I really like about this is I'm helping an endangered species.
01:14I see the reaction of all the people that are out there, all the questions.
01:19So it does my soul a lot to get to it.
01:23Gracias por ver el video.
