00:38listen this film I am still thinking about it like it's just such a whirlwind what
00:45was it like being a part of this phenomenon a whirlwind also I even think
00:52just like the timeline of it feels like such a whirlwind it's it's one of those
00:56things we're in the middle of filming you feel like just from being away from
01:00home and and being sort of in the elements it feels like it can you know
01:04you can go on the days are long but then you look back and it's like we this came
01:10together so fast so it really has felt like such a whirlwind because it like much
01:16like the movie there there was so much in this experience to take away from and and
01:20to learn from and to be inspired by and it just it's it's filled my cup and I'm so
01:27grateful to be a part of something so wonderful and it really is just now
01:30beginning so I absolutely love that and listen I need to ask this this is a really
01:35important question does Michael B Jordan have a secret twin no he's just that
01:42phenomenal of an actor how did that work because it's so seamless you often think you
01:48know you're going to notice a little crack in the CGI you don't wanna and that's
01:52how did it work how was the two of them I mean I think that the technology was
01:57quite new I think they're the first people to kind of do it this way so we we
02:02kind of shot the scene we do us we'd figure out the perfect like take with
02:10Michael as one and then and then we would kind of almost mime or something and they
02:17would play the track play the scene that we were now matching to and then he
02:22would act to react to what he was hearing and we would kind of mime what we were
02:27doing so not to put him up put him off it's kind of confusing sometimes very very
02:32technical I mean like one of those things too that like could have been so I
02:37mean it feels damn near impossible yeah like the fact that they pulled it off the
02:42way that they did and and it's it was amazing this yeah much you was it trippy
02:47working with two Michael B Jordans not at all it was so clear it was honestly like
02:53I feel like with all these interviews I'm like how did he do it because it was so
02:59clear who he was we could tell with our back turned if he was smoke or stack that
03:04his energy his vibration his vocal quality just you could hear it so clearly see it
03:09feel it and I actually don't know how he did it because we as it was easy peasy
03:15listen your character Annie I love the fact that she is essentially a witch
03:20she's a witch and I love to see it she's into the spooky stuff she's got you know
03:25all the kind of little bits that would protect you from you know evil and stuff
03:29that's me I've got my crystals on right up my street I was like Annie was ahead of
03:33her time are you guys like that are you quite like spooky you into like star signs
03:37astrology all that kind of stuff I mean I I love reading about I love reading
03:44astrology and all that stuff but um I I feel like she actually that she's real
03:50like the women there were we we had a hoodoo consultant and you know they you
03:55know this is a real practice that people do it's a real faith and it is grounded in
04:01like Yoruba the traditional Yoruba religion so I really I really I really want to say that it's
04:07like it's not it's not um it's not airy-fairy it's it's a real wisdom thank you for validating
04:14me because I like love all that I literally believe in it all yeah and just finally then I know there was a lot of
04:21blood naturally in this film how was the smell of fake blood on set
04:26sweet yeah sweet that's what a vampire would say
04:32what else the one thing that we weren't maybe made aware of beforehand was how
04:38sticky it was yes so sticky I mean to the point where our fingers were stuck
04:43together yeah someone would have to come in with like a water bottle a spray
04:46bottle and just unstick our fingers probably should have done a trigger warning there we were talking about blood
