Taiwan's foreign minister Lin Chia-lung has told lawmakers that Taiwan is in the "first wave" of countries to negotiate new U.S. tariffs. The comments come after the U.S.' commerce secretary failed to name Taiwan in a list of countries with which tariff talks are in the works.
