00:00What happened yesterday, what happened today. We are going to be talking about this for decades.
00:05So enjoy, WrestleMania.
00:07Yes! Yes!
00:12I didn't know you knew Spanish.
00:13Yes!
00:22Title Fighters start tonight.
00:24The World Champion, EO Scott.
00:30Who has never won at WrestleMania.
00:33But an opportunity to knock off two of the best tonight.
00:41That's what it's all about right there.
00:43That championship she has earned.
00:46She's going to have to hold on to tonight.
00:49As two of the greatest in the history of professional wrestling.
00:55You notice that statistic 3-0 in triple threat matches in her career.
01:00That's an important way because under triple threat rules there is no advantage for the champion.
01:05Yeah, it's pretty much the worst nightmare of any champion having to defend in this scenario.
01:11It's one thing losing your title to a better woman.
01:14It's another thing entirely losing your title when you're not factored into the finish of the match whatsoever.
01:20This is the kind of match as a champ you avoid at all costs.
01:24But fair play to EO Sky.
01:25She took it on the chin and she's ready for combat.
01:27You know Pat, last year at WrestleMania EO Sky lost the WWE Women's Championship to Bayley.
01:32Does that weigh on her mind coming into this match tonight?
01:35Now obviously you have to have thoughts of yesterday's nightmares every once in a while.
01:39But she feels like she's a new EO Sky coming into this WrestleMania.
01:43She is our champion.
01:44She has had to retain it against Rhea and obviously Bianca has been waiting.
01:48But whenever you think about everybody forgetting about her, she could utilize that as motivation
01:53to come out here on the grandest stage.
01:56And she will have a large contingent supporting her tonight in Las Vegas.
02:02Cement her legacy as a champ tonight.
02:05And our kickoff match here tonight on WrestleMania Sunday is presented by Minute Maid.
02:17Bring the juice.
02:18There's a buzz in here Cole, isn't there?
02:33Well you hear the reaction ladies and gentlemen for Bianca Belair here tonight.
03:02And there is a reason for that.
03:05Bianca Belair, Pat alluded to this earlier, has really played a key role in the story of EO Sky
03:12defeating Rhea Ripley to win the World Championship and then a special guest referee a few weeks later.
03:17I'll put it this way.
03:18If you win the Elimination Chamber as Belair did and you earn yourself a championship opportunity
03:25against whoever the champ may be, you expect a one-on-one match.
03:29This is not that. This has got a lot harder for Belair so I get why she's degree.
03:33And this is emotional for Bianca as well. That is her stepdaughter enjoying this entrance
03:39with Bianca Belair who is a stellar record at WrestleMania.
03:43She comes in at 4-1 but then one loss was in a battle royale.
03:47Bianca Belair has always shined on the big stage.
03:53Remember the matchup with Sasha Banks in the main event a number of years ago here at WrestleMania.
03:58This will this night once again belong to Bianca Belair.
04:02Double touch happening in the back with nothing short of impressive which is everything
04:06that revolves around Bianca Belair, the EST of the WWE.
04:12The toughest, the strongest, the quickest, the baddest.
04:14And tonight, she beats two other people and walk out of here with the title.
04:20Yeah, normally at this point, nerves are sky high.
04:24I'd argue with the competitors in this opening triple threat match though.
04:28They've all been here before. They've all done it before.
04:31They've all have massive success on this kind of stage in the past.
04:35Nerves may be at an all-time low for a match of this magnitude.
04:40Michael Cole, can you spell WrestleMania without the letters E, S, or T?
04:45No, not at all.
04:46Bianca Belair, however, in her career has struggled against both EO Sky and Rhea Ripley.
04:52So let's see how that plays out here tonight.
04:59Lot of roses there.
05:07Hey guys, let's check out the Minute Maid Juice Box where fans will be bringing the juice all night long.
05:12They're squeezing every ounce of energy into WrestleMania.
05:15And what's this?
05:16We got the Minute Maid mascot bringing even more juice, literally.
05:20Watch out, guys.
05:21He's not playing around.
05:23Let this serve as a reminder.
05:24When every day feels like a Monday, bring the juice.
05:28Watch out, guys.
05:30That's something Michael Cole would say.
05:32The juice box.
05:33He's got to be better than that loser from Pittsburgh, Iceberg.
05:37Whoa!
05:38Iceberg probably enjoys some juice boxes and shout out to the juice box.
05:42WrestleMania juice is one that is needed and appreciated.
05:47Yeah.
05:48This place is awesome.
05:49This place is awesome.
05:50This place is awesome.
05:51This place is awesome.
05:59This is what we got here.
06:00E.C.P.
06:30Listen to this ovation.
06:41I asked Rhea Ripley what WrestleMania means to her.
06:45She told me, hold.
06:48Because Rhea Ripley has been a part of every WrestleMania since the year 2020.
06:54She's had incredible moments at this big event.
06:57And tonight, Rhea Ripley plans to regain her World Championship.
07:06You know, Pat, we had her on the Pat McAbee Show this past Friday.
07:09And we talked about this in the Countdown Show.
07:11The one thing we've learned about Rhea is the maturation of Rhea Ripley over the past couple of years.
07:16And the word confidence now comes to mind.
07:19Yeah, confidence in who she is.
07:21She said she's resorted to her truest self, her most authentic Rhea Ripley.
07:27And with confidence comes comfort.
07:29And when you have comfort at the biggest stages, that's when the championship title comes back home.
07:35Mommy is poised to leave Vegas with her title.
07:40And I don't think anybody would be surprised.
07:42From Riot City Wrestling in her homeland of Australia, to a dojo in Japan, to playing soccer and karate and swimming,
07:56to making the trek to the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, to becoming an NXT UK champion,
08:02back to the state to dominate WWE, it has been an incredible career ride for Rhea Ripley.
08:12She's an anomaly from Australia.
08:16And tonight, she's back on the biggest stage in SportsCenter 10.
08:21Let's kick things off for the great Alicia Taylor.
08:25The following contest is a triple threat match.
08:35And it is for the Women's World Championship.
08:43Introducing first, the challengers, from Knoxville, Tennessee, Bianca Belair.
09:13Next, from Adelaide, South Australia, Rhea Ripley.
09:28And their opponent, representing Damage Control, from Tokyo, Japan.
09:48And she is the Women's World Champion, EO Sky.
10:00The champion, EO Sky, with an incredible record against Bianca Belair,
10:04and is also undefeated in her career against Rhea Ripley.
10:07Tonight defends the championship in a triple threat match.
10:10And remember, ladies and gentlemen, this is how the rules work.
10:13First woman to gain pitfall submission will become the world champion.
10:16There are no countouts. There are no disqualifications.
10:19And, Wade, that means EO Sky does not have to be involved in the decision to lose her title tonight.
10:25Yeah, absolutely not.
10:25It's a trepidatious time for a champion in a triple threat matchup like this.
10:31But EO Sky may have a major advantage.
10:34There is real bitterness between Belair and Rhea Ripley
10:38that has developed over the past couple of months.
10:40And they could take each other out.
10:42That's where EO Sky benefits.
10:44To your point, it's starting right now, yet again.
10:47And EO Sky is, I told you, she's no longer going to be thought of as an afterthought.
10:51And EO Sky starting things off against Rhea and Bianca Belair.
10:55And now, Rhea and Bianca go after one another.
10:57EO Sky now looking to pick up the pace.
10:59And there's the power of Belair.
11:01Although, if EO Sky wants to get into a power game, boom!
11:04Great brawna from EO Sky.
11:08And now EO showing off some of her athleticism.
11:11Nice drop kick drops Bianca Belair.
11:14And a drop kick of Rhea Ripley.
11:15And we are underway in a fast-paced start for the women's world title.
11:20Everybody's kind of getting a taste of what this is about to be.
11:23Now, Rhea and Bianca square off yet again.
11:29EO out of the equation momentarily.
11:31To show you the power advantage of Rhea Ripley there.
11:33One drop kick and it has completely wiped out EO Sky.
11:37And turned this effectively into a one-on-one match.
11:40Which is exactly what Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair have wanted all along.
11:44Yeah, a couple of waist-lock takedowns showing off their power.
11:47EO Sky's okay with Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley beating hell out of each other a little bit here.
11:51Well, this is the smart thing.
11:52This is what EO should have done all along.
11:54Step back in that opening onslaught.
11:56Let these two rip each other to shreds.
11:58Yeah, but she wants to show the world how good she is, Wade.
12:01And a nice kip up by Bianca Belair.
12:04Rhea Ripley's got some history in this stadium.
12:08Back in 2021 at SummerSlam,
12:10she was involved in a triple threat match for a world title that she had recently lost.
12:16Back in the same scenario, same stadium tonight.
12:21Belair now.
12:23Bianca Belair so quick.
12:25Taking advantage of those freak genetics that the EST has shown us many times before.
12:31SEC Championship.
12:36TNA beating the hell out of EO Sky and Rhea Ripley right now.
12:40And EO slips out from underneath.
12:41They're going to try to take advantage of that long braid by Bianca.
12:46We've seen that used as a weapon.
12:48It can also be a detriment.
12:51Into the corner.
12:52Bianca kicking her way out.
12:54Heel first to the nose of Rhea Ripley.
12:57Oh my goodness.
12:59Double blockbuster.
13:01Covered out by EO.
13:02Stacks up both women and a kick out.
13:04What an exclamation point.
13:06That would have been on this.
13:07Defense had she pinned both women simultaneously.
13:11That was a double blockbuster, did you say?
13:13Basement drop kick as well by Sky.
13:16And now EO targeting Bianca Belairio.
13:18Launched out to the apron.
13:20And Bianca sending the champ into the turnbuckle.
13:23Rhea Ripley with a kick drives Bianca outside the ring.
13:25It's two kicks that have sent competitors outside of the ring by Rhea Ripley.
13:29So much power.
13:30And Rhea now can to go off the apron and take out Bianca.
13:33But remember, no countouts or disqualifications.
13:37EO Sky, the genius of the sky.
13:39Gonna fly and takes out Rhea right at the table.
13:42Picture perfect EO Sky flying at Wrestlemania.
13:47EO Sky so reckless with her own body.
13:50The genius of the sky doing what she does best.
13:54Now, moments prior to that, that was Rhea Ripley once again having laser focus exclusively on Bianca Belair and taking her eye off the champ.
14:04Rolled through by EO.
14:05Stop right to the gut of Rhea.
14:07You know, one thing I've noticed, guys, in the early going, cover now by Sky.
14:10Hook to the leg and a kick out of two.
14:11It is much warmer in their stadium tonight than it was last night.
14:15Will that have any effect on the performers, Pat?
14:17Yeah, the sun certainly has its fastball.
14:19We are in the desert.
14:20It does feel like it's hotter earlier than it was last night.
14:23But this match could be the reasoning for it.
14:26EO Sky now.
14:27Rolling up Bianca Belair, who's got to kick out at two.
14:30Fast-paced matchup.
14:31In the early going, who does that favor lead?
14:33Well, and the temperatures like this, endurance does become an issue.
14:38And I will personally always back Bianca Belair, the uber-athlete, in a scenario of pure endurance.
14:45Now Bianca Belair.
14:46High speed, though.
14:47You've got to think EO's happy about that.
14:48Yeah, nice suplex by Bianca.
14:50What if it goes to a power game?
14:52Floats through into another suplex.
14:54Bianca Belair showing off her power here.
14:56The EST.
14:59Marching around the ring with a vertical suplex to EO Sky.
15:03Into a Kepa.
15:04Talk about Sean Offey.
15:06How could you boo that?
15:08You're booing greatness if that's the case.
15:11The EST.
15:13Taking over Sun-C.
15:15Oh, never mind.
15:16Spoke too quickly.
15:17Rhea Ripley says, enough of that.
15:18Well, Belair showing out a little too much there with EO Sky down, allowing Rhea Ripley an opportunity back into the fight.
15:26Oh, EO got caught.
15:29Bianca Belair.
15:30Oh, like Juan Soto.
15:32Swinging it back.
15:34Well, Vegas going to have a baseball team in a couple of years.
15:36Yeah, good night, champ.
15:38Stadium just to be down the street.
15:40Brief moment of cohesion there from Rhea bloody Ripley.
15:45And Bianca Belair, again, we're back to that one-on-one match, which these two have desired so badly.
15:52Rhea Ripley now going to show off her power to Belair.
15:54Belair will land on her feet.
15:56Nice waist lock to Rhea.
15:57Rhea, of course, completely blames Bianca Belair for losing the championship to Sky in the first place after Belair was a distraction at ringside.
16:08And Rhea now lifting up EO Sky onto her shoulder up top.
16:12Razor's X into Bianca Belair.
16:15The human missile EO Sky.
16:18Cover by Rhea.
16:19Hook of the leg for the win.
16:21Kick out by EO at two.
16:23Thought that was it.
16:24Bianca Belair taken out by the Razor's Edge javelin from Rhea Ripley.
16:30And somehow EO Sky keeps this match rolling.
16:34Now Rhea Ripley really starting to show that physical dominance she has over at.
16:39Almost there.
16:39Nice takedown by Rhea Ripley.
16:43Turns things around now.
16:44And she's in full control of EO Sky's legs.
16:48Oh, she's looking for the prison lock.
16:50Submission move used by Rhea Ripley.
16:52Can she get the champ to tap?
16:54If she does, it's over.
16:56And Rhea will be the champion.
16:57And Bianca Belair, though, from behind.
16:59And again, the inherent danger of the triple threat matchup power by Belair.
17:04Up on her shoulders.
17:06Bianca.
17:07Rhea lands on her feet.
17:08Nice deep arm drag.
17:10Oh!
17:11This with a big boot.
17:14Face first.
17:15Boom.
17:16And both had the same idea.
17:23Both faces getting spiked off the ring.
17:30Absolutely incredible.
17:31EO Sky, the first back to her feet.
17:34Bianca and Rhea both down in the corner.
17:38Now, the bullet train attack by EO Sky, both to Rhea and Bianca.
17:43Rhea and Bianca might have distracted each other too much.
17:46Now EO Sky's taking advantage.
17:47EO Sky says, that's it, Cole.
17:53Making a point.
17:54This division revolves around me.
17:57And now going to put this one to bed.
17:59Rhea now going to meet EO up top.
18:01Bianca Belair going to get involved as well.
18:09It's a dangerous situation for all three women.
18:12EO somehow laid it on her face.
18:16Rhea and Bianca down as well.
18:18Critical moment, Wade, in this match.
18:21Well, Bianca Belair was the chief instigator in that car crash
18:25from the top and the second rope.
18:28But Belair took a nasty landing herself.
18:31EO Sky clearly getting the worst of this.
18:34But now all three women laid out with the title hanging in the balance.
18:41Indeed it is.
18:43As we begin WrestleMania Sunday
18:45with a women's world championship hanging in the balance.
18:49All three women showing up and showing out when it really counts.
18:53Who's going to survive this and become our champion?
18:56Bianca not allowing Rhea to get back to her feet,
18:59at least momentarily.
19:00Sold out tonight at Allegiant Stadium.
19:02Rhea Ripley with a forearm.
19:04Bianca with one as well.
19:07Nice drop down by Bianca Belair.
19:10And Rhea.
19:11The leapfrog and just kicks Bianca out of the boots.
19:15Massive.
19:16EO Sky with a missile drop kick.
19:21Kip off, flip off, EO Sky.
19:24The champ brings the WWE fans to their feet.
19:28Bianca blasted EO out of the air.
19:31The biggest risk in this kind of matchup
19:34is admiring your own handiwork.
19:37EO Sky getting lit up by this massive audience
19:41backing her to the helm.
19:42And of course, Bianca Belair was ready to pounce.
19:45Again, Pat, that shows Bianca's experience
19:47in this type of matchup.
19:49She was waiting for EO Sky to be distracted.
19:51Whether it was giving herself flowers
19:53or looking another way.
19:54Spears her out of Vegas.
19:56Bianca!
19:57Shooting star.
19:58Cover down.
19:59Hook of the leg.
19:59And Rhea with a running knee.
20:01Connected with that 450 splash there, Cole.
20:03But I get the point.
20:05Dangerously effective guy.
20:06Cover now by Rhea.
20:07Stacks up Bianca for the championship.
20:10And a kick out.
20:12Rhea cannot believe it.
20:13Kicking out of a riptide.
20:15This is Bianca Belair finding a whole new level.
20:20EO Sky thought she had it.
20:22Bianca Belair spears her out of Las Vegas.
20:24And you're right, Wade.
20:25This is a 450 delivered by Bianca Belair.
20:29And then Rhea Ripley with a riptide to Bianca.
20:32We thought it was over here.
20:33And a kick out by Belair.
20:34And that is the highest stack pin possible
20:37after the heaviest artillery in this woman's arsenal.
20:42If it didn't work, where the hell do you go from here, Ripley?
20:45And Rhea's going to turn her attention out of the champion,
20:47EO Sky, after Bianca rolled out of the ring.
20:50EO just so happens to be the closest competitor.
20:52Maybe another one.
20:53Looking for another riptide now to the champion.
20:55Rhea Ripley.
20:56Oh, nice turnarounds.
20:58Rockery on her head.
21:00Great counter.
21:01That DDT by Sky.
21:03Incredible flexibility.
21:05EO now.
21:05Oh, ran right into a kick.
21:07What a move by Ripley.
21:09It was like a capoeira kick right to the temple.
21:12And the genius of the Sky, who is groggy,
21:15propped up gingerly against the ropes.
21:17And now in the worst position possible.
21:20What the hell is Ripley cooking up here?
21:22EO Sky's dazed, confused, and about to be broken.
21:27EO above the top rope.
21:29Rhea Ripley glancing out into the sellout crowd.
21:33Rhea.
21:34Oh, what a counter by EO Sky.
21:37Countering a massive riptide.
21:41Sky, top rope.
21:42Genius to the Sky.
21:44Oh, and Rhea.
21:47Got the boots up.
21:50And Bianca caught her.
21:52K.O.D.
21:53Kiss of death.
21:54Belair.
21:56Ripley breaking things up.
21:59What action.
22:014.50s and riptides.
22:04EO.
22:05The K.O.D.
22:06Over the moonsault was supposed to be it.
22:10Rhea gets her boots up.
22:12Perfectly timed.
22:13EO Sky rolls right into a K.O.D.
22:19That's supposed to be 1, 2, 3.
22:23And Staglia Ripley breaks it up with ease.
22:26This is an instant classic to start Wrestlemania Sunday.
22:31Oh, hats off.
22:32The mental sharpness of Ripley there was just so, so good.
22:37Nothing pretty about it.
22:38Like a defensive end slapping someone down.
22:45And now Belair.
22:48Talking trash to Rhea.
22:49I'm not wearing you.
22:51I'm not wearing you.
22:52I'm not wearing you.
22:54I'm not wearing you.
22:56I'm not wearing you.
22:57Bianca all worked up.
23:02And Rhea Ripley's heard enough.
23:04And now the slugfest underway.
23:06That was a big right by Bianca.
23:09Completely wobbled the knees of Ripley,
23:11who's still game to fight.
23:14Now Bianca out to the apron.
23:17Ripley clock.
23:18Oh, God.
23:19The pit of this really has boiled over now, Cole.
23:21These are massive shots being thrown here late in the match.
23:27Both women here looking completely reinvigorated
23:30as they throw the heavy leather.
23:33And now Rhea dragging Bianca up toward the top rope.
23:36Bianca looking to block.
23:38Two of the most powerful women in the game
23:40going at it high above the ring.
23:44He ain't right still.
23:47Head butt by Rhea.
23:49Drops Bianca to the floor.
23:50It's about the worst place Bianca could have fallen for Rhea Ripley.
23:53Io Sky now.
23:54Uppercut there.
23:58Whoa.
23:59Io going to do here from the top rope.
24:01Io Sky fired up once again.
24:05And look at Rhea.
24:06The power of Ripley trying to hang on.
24:09Oh, my God.
24:10First off the post goes Sky.
24:13Did you guys hear that?
24:14Attempted a poison runner up the second rope, but now...
24:17Belair now with Ripley up top.
24:21Oh, no.
24:23Counter to the KOD.
24:24Rhea landed on her feet.
24:27This has degenerated into a hockey fight with head butts at her.
24:32Wait a minute.
24:32Ripley.
24:34Went for the riptie.
24:35Countered by Belair.
24:37Bianca.
24:37Oh, my goodness.
24:39Oh, no.
24:40Oh, no.
24:41Oh, no.
24:42Using the brain as a weapon.
24:44KOD by Belair.
24:47For the win.
24:49Io Sky over the moonsault.
24:52Cover on Belair.
24:54Sky wins.
24:55Io Sky wins.
24:57What?
24:58Here is your winner, and still, the women's world champion, Io Sky.
25:11What a match.
25:13What a win for Io Sky.
25:21Ladies and gentlemen, an afterthought no more.
25:26Io Sky retains her world championship on the grand stage of Wrestlemania.
25:37And, Wade, we thought this was it for Io.
25:38Well, that was about a 20-minute highlight reel of a match.
25:42Where do you choose the replays from?
25:44There's so many options.
25:45But this was the moment.
25:47Bela, whipping the hell out of Rhea Ripley, was tasting victory.
25:52Up for the riptide, connected so sweetly, stacking a pin.
25:57And with perfect timing, the over-the-moonsault breaking up.
26:01And Bianca Belair eats it.
26:04Io Sky, the third wheel in this entire build-up,
26:10proves that this division revolves around the genius of the Sky.
26:14The genius of the Sky hits the over-the-moonsault to break up the pin,
26:19then smoothly goes in for the cover.
26:21One, two, three.
26:22What a brilliant display by Io Sky.
26:27Our champion coming in, and our champion walking out of Wrestlemania.
26:32Also, Pat, what a brilliant display by Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair in this match tonight.
26:38This is awesome chants scattered throughout the entirety.
26:43An instant classic to kick off Wrestlemania Sunday.
26:47And Io Sky stands tall as our champ.
