00:00Third time we have heard from Nico following the Luka Doncic bombshell
00:04trade back in early February.
00:07And every time this man has spoken in front of a recorded microphone or not,
00:13he has said something idiotic that makes him sound even more like an idiot.
00:18Like yesterday, DRS, mentioning how he did not know how beloved Luka Doncic was
00:25by the Mavs fan base.
00:26Don't believe me, let's hear from Mr. Harrison himself.
00:30Yeah, good question.
00:32I did know that Luka was important to the fan base.
00:36I didn't quite know it to what level, but really the way we looked at it is,
00:42you know, if you're putting a team on the floor that's Kyrie, Clay, PJ,
00:47Anthony Davis, and Lively, we feel that's a championship caliber team
00:53and we would have been winning at a high level and that would have quieted some of the outrage.

01:07Like he got hit with the double slam or the horrible trade and then everybody got injured

01:20But the one thing we do understand about professional sports and it's the like the major four groups,
01:26you can run your franchise into the ground.
01:28And every single day, your franchise gets higher and higher and higher with network here, net worth.
01:35So the owners just go, well, bottom line, what are we going to lose next year?

01:38We'll probably sold out and we get the same TV money as everybody else.
01:41And we'd have to spend all that money on Luca's new contract we have extended.
01:44And they probably in the board and go, good job, GM.
01:46It's about the bottom line.
01:47And we did very well again.
01:49So we'll see you again next year when we review how that season actually went.

03:05It is one thing to spurn a fan base time and again, but also to just outright continuously say I'm a non ball knower who is not qualified to have the job that I do because I don't even understand basketball blows my mind.
03:21You're right. It would have been one thing if Kyrie Irving was healthy, if Anthony Davis was healthy, Derek Gladly, who was injured before the Luka Doncic deal.
03:29If they were all out there, they might have got out of the play in tournament.

03:54What really angers me is ineptitude by people who should be in leadership roles in displaying brilliance in those positions.
04:03So when you have a doofus who continues to make things worse, I feel for the fan base of the Mavericks.
