00:00In order to threaten someone, you need to have the tools for that. You need to be ready to use this leverage. But those who plan to come to Russia, they're much more courageous than those who are hiding behind someone's back and try to threaten someone.
00:25Primarily those who want to mark and celebrate the historical courage of the people who devoted their lives to fighting fascism.
00:38This is my video update on this April the 21st Monday afternoon coming to you from Nicosia, Cyprus. Let's talk about some news.
00:55And let's start things off with the breaking news, which is that Pope Francis has passed away.
01:06I will read you a statement from Russian President Vladimir Putin on the passing of Pope Francis.
01:19As Putin said, during the years of his pontificate, he actively contributed to the development of dialogue between the Russian Orthodox and Roman Catholic churches,
01:30as well as constructive interaction between Russia and the Holy See, the Russian President said.
01:37Pope Francis, rest in peace, let's now discuss a truth social post from U.S. President Trump.
02:00Let me read you what Trump posted.
02:04Hopefully, Russia and Ukraine will make a deal this week.
02:08Both will then start to do big business with the United States of America, which is thriving, and make a fortune.
02:16Hopefully, Russia and Ukraine will sign Trump's peace framework.
02:29I guess that's what we can call it, peace plan framework that was presented in Paris by Rubio to the U.K., France, Germany, and Ukraine.
02:44From what I understand, the United States is waiting for Ukraine and the Europeans to look over the proposal.
02:55They're going to meet in London.
02:59According to the U.S. State Department, hopefully, Ukraine will sign it.
03:05Hopefully, the Europeans will agree to it.
03:07This is according to the U.S. State Department.
03:09And then once they have the Europeans and the Ukrainians signed up, they're going to send it off to Russia or communicate, negotiate with Russia or Whitkoff.
03:22Whitkoff's going to go to Russia.
03:23That's what's going to happen.
03:25Then Whitkoff goes to Russia, and then they try to get Russia to sign up to this proposal.
03:29That's the process that the Trump administration is working on with this proposal framework for a freeze, for a ceasefire in Ukraine.
03:45That's what we're talking about.
03:46We're talking about a ceasefire freeze in Ukraine.
03:49The proposal, very much based on Kellogg's April 2024 report, has a little bit of Whitkoff diplomacy.
04:00The United States will recognize Crimea, officially recognize Crimea as part of the Russian Federation.
04:08And there will be some sanctions relief.
04:11Two things, to be quite honest, that Russia has never asked for from the West.
04:18They have not asked for sanctions relief, and they have not put in any of their terms when it comes to negotiations with Ukraine, that the collective West must officially, or the United States must officially, recognize Crimea.
04:32But anyway, those are the two carrots that they've thrown into the proposal.
04:37The rest of it is Kellogg, April 2024.
04:42Freeze the conflict on the current contact lines, along the current contact lines.
04:51Anyway, let's get back to how I've gone over this proposal.
04:57A whole bunch over the past couple of two, three, four videos.
05:01But Trump, what is Trump saying?
05:05Russia and Ukraine, sign this proposal, and then you're going to make a whole lot of money.
05:10You're going to make a fortune, because you'll be able to do big business with the United States.
05:16There you go.
05:16There's another carrot.
05:18There's another carrot for Russia to sign this proposal.
05:24You'll be able to do big business with the United States.
05:28Ukraine as well.
05:29Maybe this is enough for Ukraine so that they can sign off on this proposal.
05:35They're going to make a fortune.
05:37Bedoliak.
05:39You see what this American president, he put on social media.
05:44He say, I sign this piece of paper, I make a fortune.
05:49He says, good deal.
05:50I like it.
05:52Maybe for Alensky, this is enough.
05:54This is all he needs to hear.
05:56A fortune?
05:56What?
05:57What did you say?
05:57I'm going to make a fortune.
05:59Where's the proposal?
06:00Give me a pen, Bedoliak.
06:01Give me a pen.
06:02I've got to sign this thing.
06:05For Russia.
06:07Russia's not going to care, man, about this stuff, man.
06:11Come on, man.
06:13Come on, Trump.
06:14Oh, boy.
06:18Yeah, the proposal's a non-starter for Russia.
06:21It's DOA.
06:22It's DOA.
06:24There is no chance that Russia's going to agree to this proposal if the collective West
06:31media is accurate in their reporting.
06:33If this is indeed the proposal that the U.S. is offering Russia and Ukraine.
06:47Who knows?
06:51Maybe this could be one big fake-out.
06:54Maybe they leaked this stuff to the media so that they can publish details of a proposal
07:02that Russia's never going to sign in order to distract away from a proposal which is heavily based on
07:11on Istanbul Plus.
07:12On Istanbul Plus, Whitcoff diplomacy, June 2024.
07:17Russian terms?
07:18I don't know.
07:19I give it a 1% chance that that's what's going on.
07:24I think that we're looking at Kellogg, April 2024, with a little bit of Whitcoff freezing the conflict.
07:35It's the United States trying to freeze the conflict anyway.
07:39Trump also posted on Truth Social, the golden rule of negotiating and success.
07:44He who has the gold makes the rules.
07:47Not quite sure what that post means.
07:54Obviously, Trump is talking about the Liberation Day tariffs or the tariff trade war with China.
08:03China's buying a whole lot of gold.
08:04Does that mean that they make the rules or is the U.S. making the rules because the U.S. has a lot of gold,
08:12especially in Fort Knox?
08:14Have they seen all the gold in Fort Knox and now they understand that they have a lot of gold
08:21and they can make the rules?
08:22I don't know.
08:23I don't know.
08:24All I know is that China is buying, has been buying over the years, a whole lot of gold.
08:35So that's the post on Truth Social.
08:38Well, Kellogg, he came out with a statement and he said that he agrees with President Trump
08:47that if Russia and Ukraine do not sign off on the ceasefire proposal,
08:57then the United States should walk away.
09:00That is what Kellogg said.
09:03He acknowledged that the remarks from Trump, the walking away remarks from Trump are harsh,
09:10but stressed that there are many other global issues that the United States needs to focus on.
09:18So that's the statement from Kellogg.
09:21The Wall Street Journal, they published an article today with the title,
09:31Kiev is on the clock to respond to Trump plan to end Ukraine conflict.
09:37U.S. proposal includes recognition of Russia's annexation of Crimea and blocking Ukraine from joining NATO.
09:44So the Wall Street Journal in this report gives us some more information on the possible details in this plan presented in Paris.
10:02And the Wall Street Journal is reporting that the United States is floating out the idea that the ZNPP,
10:17the Zaporozhye power plant, could fall under the control of the U.S.
10:26That could be a part of this proposal.
10:29The ZNPP and the territory around Zaporozhye power plant, which they describe as neutral territory,
10:41the neutral territory could be controlled and managed by the United States.
10:47You see, the United States is doing Russia and Ukraine a favor, right?
10:52They're arguing over the ZNPP.
10:56This is what the U.S. is saying.
10:57You guys are arguing over the ZNPP and Ukraine.
11:03You're trying to shell the ZNPP.
11:06And Russia, you've been in control of the ZNPP for three plus years.
11:12And you're trying to shell the ZNPP that you control.
11:17You're shelling yourselves.
11:18So you know what?
11:19We'll just do you a favor and we'll just take control of the power plant as well as all of the territory around the power plant.
11:33We'll manage it.
11:34Don't worry about it.
11:36We'll just take it.
11:37Isn't that nice?
11:39Isn't that nice?
11:40What is the Wall Street Journal saying?
11:43Yet another U.S. idea, Western officials said, calls for designating the territory around the nuclear reactor in Zaporozhye as neutral territory that could be under American control.
11:59So, yeah, the neutral territory can fall under American control.
12:05So, you know what that means?
12:10This is what what I think is is going on here, what the U.S. is going to propose.
12:18A Kellogg freeze along the current contact line.
12:21Russia, the Russian military, you have the territory in Zaporozhye, Kherson, and Donetsk, Lugansk.
12:32You have that territory where you're currently located at the time of the of the freeze.
12:39But the other parts of the four territories, specifically Kherson and Zaporozhye, which, according to the Russian constitution and the referendum, Russia claims is part of the Russian Federation.
12:57Anyway, the the the remaining parts of Kherson and Zaporozhye, the Ukraine military will not have to have to leave those areas.
13:08And those areas are not going to to be recognized as part of Russia in this deal.
13:12What's going to happen is that the United States will will take management of of these areas as neutral territory, including the Zaporozhye nuclear power.
13:23That's that's that's pretty much what what they're proposing.
13:31Incredible stuff.
13:32The Wall Street Journal also says the U.S.
13:36Western officials say is also not proposing a cap on Ukrainian forces and isn't precluding Western military support for Kiev or the deployment of European troops.
13:48They're a key sticking point with Moscow.
13:50Now, another point that if the reporting from The Wall Street Journal is accurate, Russia is going to to absolutely reject, which is that there's going to be no limit on the size of the Ukraine military or the or the weapons that the Ukraine military can possess, can purchase, can purchase from the U.S.
14:17The U.S. military companies, the U.S.
14:23always wins.
14:26So Russia is not going to to agree to that.
14:30They're going to reject that point as well.
14:32But according to the Wall Street Journal, according to the Wall Street Journal, according to their sources, if you are to believe the W.S.
14:39J., this is also going to be part or is part of the.
14:45Of the U.S.
14:46ceasefire proposal or ceasefire framework.
14:49It's almost as if this entire proposal that the Trump White House is putting forward is is meant to be rejected.
15:02They've they've they've made it.
15:04They've structured this thing, this deal so that that so that Russia has to absolutely reject it.
15:11And most likely Ukraine will reject it.
15:13But who knows with Ukraine and with Olenskiy, they're they're in such a bad state right now that they just might sign off on this.
15:24But Russia, there's no way Russia can accept any of this proposal if if this is indeed the proposal that the United States is putting forward.
15:34It's almost as if they want Russia to reject it.
15:37So, CNN and the New York Times, CNN and the New York Times are reporting that Pete Hegseth has been caught in another signal chat scandal.
15:59Another another signal chat scandal.
16:03Take that guy's iPhone away from him, confiscate his iPhone.
16:12Come on, come on, Pete Hegseth.
16:15What's going on?
16:18Uninstall those chat apps from the phone of the secretary of defense.
16:24Anyway, the reports are that and this originated, I believe, with the New York Times, but now CNN has picked up on this.
16:34The reports are that that Hegseth had a second chat running.
16:40And this goes back to the whole Yemen, the first scandal, which involved Rubio, Waltz, Vance, where they were talking about about bombing Yemen.
16:52He had a second chat running where they were also talking about bombing Yemen.
16:58But in this chat, it was Hegseth, his wife, his brother, and his lawyer.
17:08And the accusation is that he was sharing this sensitive information, maybe classified information, to these people in this signal discussion group.
17:26His wife, his bro, and his lawyer.
17:29From what I understand, though, his brother and his lawyer actually work for the Department of Defense.
17:39I think I read that somewhere, though I'm not quite sure what their access is to classified information.
17:50I don't know any of that stuff, but I do believe they are employed by the Department of Defense.
17:56So for them to be in a signal chat may not be so out there, but his wife was also in this discussion group.
18:09Hegseth shared detailed military plans in second signal chat that included his wife and brother.
18:15Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth shared detailed plans about a military operation against the Houthis in Yemen on a second signal group chat.
18:23This one on his personal phone, and including his wife, lawyer, and brother, three people familiar with the chat, told CNN.
18:32Yeah, on his personal phone.
18:35I don't know if that means anything.
18:37But anyway.
18:42Not looking good for Pete Hegseth.
18:47Maybe this is a nothing burger, though, as well.
18:50Who knows?
18:51We have to wait for some more information to come out right now.
18:54All we have to go to go on is is this New York Times report and what CNN is coming out with.
19:01The revelation comes as some of Hegseth's closest advisors have begun sounding the alarm about the secretary's judgment, including the former press secretary, John Uliot, and three former senior officials Hegseth fired last week.
19:18His top advisor, Dan Caldwell, deputy chief of staff, Darren Selnick, and Colin Carroll, who served as chief of staff to the deputy secretary of defense.
19:28Yeah, so this might be connected.
19:31All of this might be connected to the recent firings in the Pentagon.
19:37The claim is that these people were fired by Hegseth because they leaked information.
19:43But they claim, these officials, they actually got together and they issued a joint statement.
19:52They claim that they did no such thing.
19:55They did not leak any information.
19:58I read other reports which claim that the firing of these individuals originates from the New York Times reports which said that the Trump administration rejected Israel's plan to bomb Iranian facilities, nuclear facilities.
20:24That was what the New York Times reported last week, and this was going to be a plan where Israel and the United States for one week, bombed Iran, bombed the nuclear facilities of Iran, and the New York Times reported that the Trump administration, Trump, President Trump, Vance, Vance, Gabbard, and Hegseth, Susie Wiles and Hegseth.
20:47And Hegseth was also someone who sided with Trump, they agreed to reject the Israeli plan to bomb Iran.
20:55And the firing of these people in the Pentagon somehow originates with that reporting from the New York Times.
21:06I've read analysis which says that as well.
21:08But we don't really have a confirmed reason as to why they were fired.
21:17They're just leaked information.
21:19That's the only reason that we've received so far from the Pentagon.
21:24It's probably time that Hegseth issued a statement as to why these individuals were indeed fired.
21:31Anyway, it looks like certain parts of the U.S. government or the U.S. deep state or the permanent state is coming after Hegseth.
21:46The Ukrainian ambassador to the United Nations, who was also, at one point in time, the Ukraine ambassador to Germany, Melnyk.
22:07Remember that guy?
22:10Melnyk.
22:11He is, let's come to a dead end.
22:21He has now written an open letter to BlackRock Mertz.
22:27He was the Ukraine ambassador to Germany during the beginning of the special military operation, way back in the beginning of the SMO.
22:41And he was the guy that called Olaf Scholz a sultry liver sausage.
22:51Is that what he called him?
22:52A sulky liver sausage.
22:56Remember that guy?
22:57Yeah, he was constantly trashing Scholz.
23:00And every time he trashed us, Scholz, Scholz was kissing his butt even more.
23:05Weird, man.
23:08I mean, he was trashing the pirate.
23:12Every other day he was trashing the pirate and the pirate just kept on coming back for more.
23:19Yeah, he also gave a, what did him in was, what removed him as ambassador to Germany was he did this podcast interview where he was praising Bandera.
23:31And then Alensky, he had to, he had to remove him as ambassador to Germany.
23:37And then a couple of years later, they appointed him as the representative to, to the United Nations.
23:44Anyway, this guy, this guy who has it in for Germany, he loves to trash talk Germany.
23:50He wrote an open letter to Mertz, the soon-to-be chancellor of Germany, and he said that Ukraine is ready to fight until 2029, provided that Germany will take on most of the costs.
24:06Permanent representative of Ukraine to the UN, Andrei Melnyk.
24:09That's right, Germany, Ukraine is, is ready to fight, but you have to pay for everything, for most everything.
24:24So in this letter to, to Mertz, Melnyk is asking Germany, Mertz, when he becomes chancellor,
24:32to donate 30% of Bundeswehr stock of armored vehicles and aircraft to Kiev.
24:42He wants 30% of, of all the military hardware and weapons that Germany has to donate it.
24:51Not sell it, not loan it, nope, donate it, give it, give it to us.
24:5630% of everything you have.
24:59That includes tornado fighter jets, Eurofighter typhoon, tornadoes, leopards,
25:12Kuma martyr infantry fighting vehicles, all of it.
25:17150 Taurus cruise missiles.
25:20Hand it over.
25:21Hand it over, Mertz.
25:23If you hand it over, we'll continue fighting until 2029, promise.
25:29He also, he's not done there.
25:33It's not just about weapons.
25:35He also wants 0.5% of Germany's GDP or 21.5 billion euros annually.
25:45Annually.
25:51As a gift.
25:52Give us 21.5 billion euros every year.
25:58And we'll keep on fighting until 2029.
26:01Just hand it over, Germany.
26:03Hand over your weapons.
26:04Hand over your money.
26:05And you'll keep us fighting.
26:07That's the deal that Melnyk is presenting to BlackRock Mertz.
26:10And you know what?
26:11You know what?
26:14BlackRock Mertz just might agree to it.
26:18That's, that's the crazy part about all of this.
26:23BlackRock Mertz just might say,
26:25Melnyk?
26:27Uh, yeah.
26:29Okay.
26:30How much did you say?
26:3121.5 billion?
26:33Every year?
26:33Every year.
26:35Consider it done.
26:37What'd you say?
26:3730% of all our weapons?
26:39Take 40.
26:41But you're going to keep on fighting until 2029, right?
26:44Right, right.
26:45Okay, that's the deal.
26:46That's the deal.
26:47It's crazy, man.
26:49These people are crazy.
26:50Absolutely crazy.
26:53And since we're talking about crazy,
26:55let's, uh, let's talk about
26:57the Estonian foreign minister.
27:01The home country of stunning and brave Kayakalas, Estonia.
27:06The Estonian foreign minister
27:09gave an interview to the Financial Times
27:13and the Estonian
27:17Cricket
27:20and the Estonian foreign minister
27:25The Estonian foreign minister,
27:30Margus Kahna
27:32I think I'm pronouncing that correctly.
27:34said that if Hungary
27:38unfreezes the Russian frozen assets,
27:42then, uh, Europe,
27:45the EU and member states of the EU
27:47are going to have
27:48big financial troubles.
27:52If Hungary unfreezes
27:54the Russian frozen assets.
27:56In other words,
27:56when the vote comes up in,
27:58I believe in June
27:59and, uh, Hungary
28:02Hungary votes against
28:04renewing
28:06the, uh, the freezing,
28:08the theft of the Russian frozen assets
28:10and those assets then have to get, uh,
28:12released back to Russia
28:13according to the Estonian foreign minister.
28:17So many member states
28:19of, uh, of the EU
28:21have
28:22based
28:24so many loans
28:26and so much money
28:27that they've dished out to Ukraine
28:29on those Russian frozen assets
28:31that if they did not have
28:33those Russian frozen assets anymore,
28:34they would be in big trouble
28:37with these, uh, loans
28:39that they've given out.
28:42Quite a statement
28:43from the Estonian foreign minister.
28:46Man, they're up to
28:47all kinds of no good
28:48when it comes to these Russian frozen assets.
28:51You know it.
28:52You know they've been
28:53they've been dipping into these,
28:55these funds
28:57and they've been giving out loans.
28:59And, uh, they've been
29:00dishing out money
29:01left and right.
29:02You know it.
29:04They're scared to death
29:05of, uh,
29:06of having these, uh,
29:09these funds unfrozen.
29:10They're going to be
29:11in big, big trouble.
29:13Magnus Kachna said
29:15that blocking
29:16the extension
29:17of EU sanctions
29:18against Russian assets,
29:19a threat or bond
29:20has repeatedly made
29:22but has never carried out
29:23would put the governments
29:25of the G7
29:26and EU countries
29:27in a different position
29:28due to the multi-billion
29:30loans granted
29:31to Kiev
29:32which are covered
29:34by, by Russian,
29:35by frozen Russian assets.
29:38The Financial Times
29:39writes,
29:41we're not only talking
29:42about EU countries,
29:43we're talking about
29:44G7 countries.
29:46What G7 countries
29:48are we
29:49talking about?
29:50We're talking about
29:51the UK, man.
29:53That's,
29:53that's the country
29:55that we're talking about
29:56because the UK
29:57has,
29:58has based all their loans
30:00to,
30:01or most of their loans
30:02to Ukraine
30:03on the, uh,
30:04the Russian frozen assets,
30:05right?
30:09Oh man,
30:10Hungary,
30:10please,
30:11please,
30:11Orban,
30:12please,
30:12Hungary,
30:13vote to unfreeze
30:14those Russian frozen assets.
30:15You can do it.
30:16I know you can do it.
