00:00My god it's really you isn't it? It's me. It's really you. It's really me. Love Seinfeld. Love Veep. Love you. Congratulations. Congratulations to me. I'm here. I met you. This is great. How exciting is it to do this kind of thing? Because we're used to seeing you kind of evolve characters and play with characters over a long period of time who we grow to like know and love and they're hilarious and they're great. But with these kind of movies you've got to find out the amount of time you're in. You're out. You're like a ninja. What's it like character developing in something like that?
00:30Just as fun. It's completely delightful and each project I've done with them albeit I have a lot more to do in this particular film more is revealed and I love that. It's like I'm a bit of an enigma. I play sort of an enigma and it works. I hear people calling this you know like an 824 sort of Marvel movie and having watched the trailers roll out over the last year giving such a different vibe in each one.
00:59Yeah.
01:00It does make you as an audience member very excited to think I have no idea what I'm actually like getting into. For you did they lay it all out here? Do you know exactly what we're about to see or is there any surprises along the way for you about how tonally it's shifted?
01:15No I know exactly. I know exactly what it was going to be and that's what I mean like really because you know sometimes you film something and they go oh they've gone for comedy or they've gone for drama.
01:27Right well they're very wise to have Jake Schreier direct this because he's got a real authentic kind of rawness to him that he brings to this and it really matches up well tonally
01:46because the film is a bunch of people who are sort of isolated and don't feel really maybe even comfortable in their own skin and so it's not your typical superhero film in that sense.
02:00And he's the perfect guy to deliver that kind of a story. Also in this movie there's a lot of a lot of really practical stunts and you know there's not a ton of CGI like you might be used to seeing so it makes it kind of that's what I mean by the grittiness.
02:19Florence really does jump off the second highest building in the world.
02:25That's absolutely bonkers.
02:26I know it's bonkers.
02:27Whoever signs that off. I wonder if they still work at Marvel.
02:30That's Kevin Feige.
02:31Kevin Feige. I think he's probably got a job for life hasn't he?
02:34Yeah.
02:34As long as he wants it.
