00:00There's a coach, Steve Shearer, who has coached here in Tampa for like 20, 25 years.
00:07Softball, Little League, like man loves him some baseball.
00:11Yeah.
00:11So he's getting ready to retire.
00:13And so he has decided he wants, has his bucket list type of thing before he bows out.
00:19He wants to go to all 30 stadiums.
00:21Oh, look at these seats over here.
00:23This dirt is so different.
00:26I mean, if it's iconic, like a Wrigley Field or something like that, I guess I get that.
00:29I get it, girl.
00:30I mean, for real.
00:31What?
00:31I mean, really.
00:33Sorry, keep going.
00:34He just wants to attend for the summer, 30 different stadiums.
00:38And he's taking like 100 kids to each stadium that's across the country.
00:44Oh, he balling.
00:46That's a lot.
00:46Right.
00:47You know what I'm saying?
00:48100 kids going.
00:49Now, he's parlayed it with the MLB where they've given him discounted tickets because they're like, yo, like, I mean.
00:54We get it.
00:55We get it.
00:55You know what I'm saying?
00:56100 kids.
00:57That's a lot.
00:57All right.
00:58Some families can't take five kids.
01:00Right.
01:00You know what I mean?
01:01So what he's doing is he's coming out of pocket for that.
01:05And he's already taking care of his.
01:07And they have a GoFundMe that just came about so we can buy a hot dog and drinks for each of the kids.
01:13That's part of the experience.
01:14You can't have a good day at the park without doing that.
01:17You know?
01:17And so I just put it up on Wild 94.1's Instagram because that's just such a major look.
01:24Like, I mean, the fact that you shared, I wrote down, I'm like, if you can share your passion and your purpose.
01:30Yes.
01:31Like, and mix them up together.
01:32His passion is baseball.
01:34He's introducing it to a bunch of kids.
01:36Like, he started yesterday at the Rays game over the Pirates.
01:40Okay.
01:41That's so great for the community, too.
01:43He started in Miami.
01:43That would have made a little bit more sense.
01:44But who cares?
01:45Wait a minute.
01:46Listen, you're not mapping out the travel.
01:47Hey!
01:48All right, you leave that man alone.
01:49Both of y'all shut up.
01:50I'm having a moment over here.
01:52Y'all are shooting holes in my store.
01:54No, that's amazing.
01:56Yes.
01:56And especially because, like, you could not really be that big a baseball fan, go to a game, and fall in love with it.
02:02Exactly.
02:02And he's going to be introducing it to a lot of kids that, you know, it'll be something new that they've never experienced before.
02:08I'm like, oh, y'all, this is dope.
02:09These kids are coming from boys and girls clubs.
02:11They're coming from YMCA's.
02:13I love that.
02:13And yesterday's entourage that he had came from the Tampa Police Athletic League.
02:18So it's like he's using all these efforts to give kids some baseball that have never been experiencing, like, a big-time game.
02:25So, you know, mess around and win this $1,000 from us, okay?
02:29You might want to go ahead to that GoFundMe.
02:31Yeah.
02:31That would be so nice.
02:32Now, if you're out there and thinking, damn, man, I wish I could take 100 kids to the game.
02:36But what about if you bought a couple of them kids a hot dog?
02:38Things like this is what GoFundMe really should be all about.
02:43It's not crowdfunding for your BBL or for your new car because you wrecked your last one.
02:48It's not.
02:48We know a lot of people who do that.
02:50This ain't the same move right here.
02:52No, that's awesome.
02:53So you take $5 and you throw it in the GoFundMe, you take, you know, that'll at least buy a soda.
02:57Yeah.
02:58Because hot dogs are expensive at the ballparks.
03:00But you mess around and put a little bit in there, it won't hit you over the head, but it will help you help him bless these kids.
03:07Yeah.
03:08Such a great, not just the idea, but, like, all the logistics that you're going to have to put together to really make this happen.
03:15Mapping out the different kids, getting all the seat packages.
03:18Yeah.
03:19Yeah.
03:19And you got chaperones, too, because, I mean, you ain't going to.
03:21And listen, you're going to be the best coach in the world.
03:23I ain't taking 100 kids to the game by myself.
03:26No.
03:27No.
03:27So, but, anyway, the GoFundMe is up on the stories at Wild941's Instagram.
03:32Please take part in whatever.
03:34If you throw a quarter at it, that's going to help somebody somewhere.
03:37And if all of y'all throw a quarter at it, then these kids are going to be having a great time.
