00:00Kanye West has residents of an L.A. neighborhood calling the police because they're wondering what's with all the swastikas around our neighborhood and people dressed like they are skinheads.
00:13Very concerning in a neighborhood called Larchmont.
00:16Which, by the way, has a fairly large Jewish population.
00:20Right.
00:20And an Orthodox Jewish population.
00:23Right. And this is all part of a casting call that Kanye is putting together for.
00:29It might be a music video.
00:30It looks like it's a music video.
00:32Exactly what it is.
00:33But this is what he's looking for.
00:36It's like looking for people 25 to 35 who must be comfortable wearing swastikas.
00:43This one is interesting.
00:45You need to have a skin complexion of Sean Combs, Diddy, or darker.
00:53So, look, he has a song on this upcoming album about Diddy.
00:58Right.
00:58So maybe this music video he's putting together.
01:01So he had a casting call.
01:03Guess what?
01:04People responded.
01:05Lots of people responded.
01:06And they came out.
01:07And there they are.
01:08And it looks like a bunch of stormtroopers near the deli on Larchmont.
01:12They're in a parking lot of a warehouse there.
01:14And, yeah, it certainly looks...
01:17Which is why people sounded the alarm when they saw this.
01:21And, guys, LAPD has received about over a half dozen calls in the last 60 days to this location.
01:28Noise complaints.
01:30Disturbance complaints.
01:31The neighbors are complaining that the LAPD hasn't done anything about this.
01:34I don't really know what the...
01:36I mean, I guess they could come and say, turn the music down.
01:38But I don't know what more they could do.
01:40Assuming he's permitted to shoot.
01:42I'm sure he got permits because otherwise it's easy to shut it down and they do it all the time.
01:47But, man.
01:48And the permits, by the way, they don't look at the items in the casting call.
01:54You just get a permit for a music video.
01:56You don't say you're doing a music video production.
01:56You don't say, and I'm looking for people to wear a Nazi.
02:00They're not doing...
02:00That is interesting that they don't ask for...
02:03No.
02:03But they can't.
02:04I mean, what...
02:05Because then they start becoming arbiters of art.
02:07They should not be the arbiters of art.
02:09Right.
02:09They should not be the arbiters of art.
02:10So you don't do that.
02:12And Kanye's, as he does, pushes it to the limits or beyond.
02:16I'm Robert from Nashville, Tennessee.
02:18Now, Kanye...
02:19This is just what Kanye does.
02:21I don't know why people even expect anything different at this point.
02:25He always pushes the envelope.
02:27And then at the same time, you know, he believes in self-expression.
02:30So he wants to be able to express himself.
02:32And ain't no telling what other type of agendas he might have.
02:36Especially in a Jewish community.
02:37He already in the hot water.
02:40Whew!
