While so many luxury brands — BMW, Cadillac in particular — try to wow you with 0-60 times and driving thrills, Lincoln has really found its niche as a brand that appeals to people who want to use their drive time to calm down. WWJ Auto Beat Reporter took a ride in the new Navigator.

00:19as the 2025 Navigator is really aimed at those who are seeking a place of refuge

00:27It's customers who really want to be the ultimate host.
00:30They want to have command of their life.
00:33They want to be able to, there's no compromises.
00:36Lincoln bringing us to Rancho Santa Fe, California,
00:39to be among the first to drive the new Navigator on some twisty canyon roads.
00:44And the vehicle does a great job of letting you travel in style and comfort.
00:48That 440 horsepower engine gives you the smooth acceleration you need.
00:53Yes, the Navigator was a lot of fun to drive on the coastal roads here in California,
00:59as well as some mountain roads.
01:01But it also can be a fairly relaxing vehicle while you're parked.
01:06Rejuvenate mode puts relaxing videos on the screen,
01:09relaxing music on the speakers,
01:11and the massaging seats recline to the perfect angle.
01:15An aroma fills the air.
01:17Other updates include heated seats in all three rows,
01:19and an easier-to-access third row.
01:22And there's a split gate in the back for greater configurability.
01:26The Navigator has had Ford's Blue Cruise hands-free driving.
01:30Now that's been updated to Blue Cruise 1.4.
01:33We've introduced more continuous hands-free time for our customers.
01:38We continue to hear great feedback about how Blue Cruise
01:40makes driving less stressful, more enjoyable,
01:43and we really can accomplish those things really well with 1.4,
01:47given the continuous hands-free time we're giving customers.
01:49Now, you're not going to find a Lincoln Navigator for less than $100,000.
01:53A fully-loaded black label model is closer to $120,000.
01:58The all-new Navigator is now starting to appear in dealerships.
