00:34You know, just begging them to address left tackle, begging them to beef up the offensive
00:39line, begging them to do unsexy things like just, you know, get stout and strong and start
00:45some trench warfare, like the fundamentals.
00:47And that's great.
00:48I just wish there was more certainty behind the pick as opposed to somebody that comes
00:52with question marks from multiple evaluators that you trust implicitly.
00:57In terms of evaluating someone's talent and ability to play one of the most difficult
01:01positions on the field, Sean.

01:03It's, it's not Joe all like if this was Joe all, I would be pants off dancing around the
01:08room because that is a, an absolute surefire stud at whatever tackle position you want
01:13to throw him at.
01:14He's an all pro for years to come.
01:15It's like the next Joe Thomas.
01:17This is not that I, there are so many questions.
01:20He might be pretty good, but more than likely he's just going to be really good at guard.
01:24And that's an absolute waste of a fourth overall pick in a draft where guys are basically all
01:30the same.
01:30Just pick the guy, the best guy.
01:32That's all you need to do is pick the best guy.
01:34Nine times out of 10, it works out.
01:35It works out for the Eagles every time they just take the best guy on the board.
01:38And he's awesome.
01:40Like stop drafting for need.
01:42The Elliott Wolf told us last year, they weren't going to draft for need.
01:45And yet here we are taking a guy who did too short of arms to play left tackle.

01:52I think he's about to go out and address, go out and meet Roger Goodell and do his little

02:35Certainly someone who they're going to try out at left tackle.
02:37And that's going to be his starting spot here and where he'll report to a camp.
02:43Now, I feel like I'd be a hypocrite if I said I hated this pick because I've yelled and screamed
02:48about tackles.
02:49And Meg, you have too.
02:49So I mean, this is a position of need that they're certainly addressing right now.
02:53And he might not be.
02:55So we'll see if that ends up happening.
02:57From everything that you hear about the intangibles, he seems like a great guy, has an awesome attitude,
03:05awesome work ethic, is going to be somebody wonderful in the locker room and a total Mike
03:09Vrabel type guy.
03:11So look, I will cover him fairly and warmly until he moves to guard.
03:17In which case, I'll say, I can't believe you took guard at number four overall.
03:21They're talking to Will Campbell's mother right now.

03:25So they clearly knew who they were going to get at five.
03:27I'm interested in seeing what they do here.

04:04breaking down Campbell tape for a long time.
04:05There's good and bad with him.
04:07It's not all...
04:07I mean, there's a lot of examples of him getting pushed around, certainly in his last year.
04:13But again, this is the guy considered to be the best tackle on the draft.
04:16I'll say this.
04:17If they can just use him as a stopgap at left tackle...
04:21First round, I can see that you're emotional here.
04:24How meaningful is it for you to represent this program in the state of Louisiana?
04:28It means everything.
04:29They did so much for me and my family.
04:32And for me to be able to represent them the right way, I'll never be able to repay them
04:36for what they did for me.
04:37I know you spent a lot of time with Patriots staff and head coach Mike Brable.
04:41What do you like about the culture that he's building there in New England?
04:44That logo speaks for itself.
04:47But, you know, Coach Brable is a guy who I want to play for.
04:49He's a football guy, no BS.
04:52And I've loved everything that everybody in that building is about since the first time
04:56I stepped in there.
04:57So it's a complete honor to be able to have this hat on right now.
