00:00How did Allah create the universe and earth in six days?

00:03Let's find out.

00:04Allah could just say,

00:06Kun faya kun,

00:07and the universe would have come into existence.

00:09Then why take six days and explain the process of creation,

00:14if not for us to ponder?

00:16A day for people on the earth is the time taken for earth's full rotation on its own axis.

00:20However, Allah doesn't reside on earth.

00:22Where is Allah then?

00:24Quran 32 verse 4 says,

00:26It is Allah who created the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them in six days.

00:32Then he established himself above the throne.

00:36The Prophet said,

00:37First of all, there was nothing but Allah,

00:39and then he created his throne.

00:41His throne was over the water,

00:43and he wrote everything in the book and created the heavens and the earth.

00:47Thus, we realize that the six days mean the six throne days,

00:51as the throne was the first thing Allah created and where Allah established himself,

00:56Let's now try and understand how long actually is six throne days.

01:00Einstein's theory of general relativity says,

01:02The heavier a celestial object,

01:04more curved is the space-time fabric around it,

01:07and higher is the gravitational force exerted by the object.

01:10This results in time relatively passing slower at the heavier object.

01:14For example, time at the surface of the sun is slower than at earth,

01:18because the sun is heavier than earth,

01:21or, as shown in the movie,

01:23Interstellar, where time drastically slowed down near the black hole.

01:28We understand that unimaginably large angels carry Allah's throne,

01:32thus making it one of the heaviest celestial bodies created by Allah,

01:36and it is located beyond the seventh heaven.

01:39Thus imagine how much slower time must be at the throne when compared to our tiny planet.

01:43Science tells us that the universe is 13.8 billion earth years old.

01:50So is 13.8 billion earth years equal to six throne days?

01:55Thus making one throne day equal to 2.3 billion years.

02:00Also the Quran mentions that Allah created the earth in two days,

02:04so if one throne day equals 2.3 billion years,

02:07the earth being two throne days old should be 4.6 billion years old, right?

02:11Interestingly, earth is indeed estimated at 4.6 billion years old.

02:17The prophet said,

02:18How can I feel at ease when Angel Israfil has put his lips to the trumpet

02:22and is waiting for the order?

02:24If, at the time of the prophet, around 1,500 years ago,

02:28Angel Israfil was ready to blow the trumpet,

02:31technically then, in throne days,

02:32are we almost at the strike of midnight,

02:34and the seventh day is judgment day.
