01:26Lalo't kamakailan lang ay dumating na rin ang pinakabagong corvette na binili sa South Korea at tatawagin bilang bagong BRP Miguel Malvar.
01:34This will signal a new chapter for the Philippine Navy. Now that we have the FFG-6 as BRP Miguel Malvar,
01:44then this SINCEX would be the transition from the old Navy to a more credible and modern Navy that we have now.
01:53Lahat kami siyempre malungkot. Pero just like anything progressivo, we have to let go of the past.
02:00That doesn't mean that we have to forget the past, but we have to move on. We now have a modern Navy.
02:07Inaasahan na rin ang kasunod na pagdating sa Pilipinas ng sister ship ng bagong BRP Miguel Malvar na BRP Diego Silang na parehong state-of-the-art warships.
02:18We aim to achieve a certain level of credible defense posture with acquisition of these ships.
02:25And hopefully in the next few years with the delivery of the OPVs and several other platforms for the Philippine Navy,
02:36we will finally achieve a finally being a modern and credible Navy that our maritime nation can truly be proud of.
