00:00:00Fate is often viewed as the predetermined events that shape our lives.
00:00:11Coincidence is often referred to as an occurrence of random events that achieve the same outcome.
00:00:17And whether you believe in the universe being preordained or completely arbitrary,
00:00:22sometimes all it takes is a chance meeting with the right person at the right time
00:00:27for magic to truly happen.
00:00:30There ain't no woman should be this hard, but a hard-headed woman is the one I love.
00:00:35Can't eat, can't sleep, or heal the hurt, but every single day you may want to work a whole lot harder.
00:00:42Raymond! Casey Carter. I just wanted to call and wish you good luck on your first day tomorrow.
00:00:47Gotta work a whole lot harder, yeah. I won't stop for anyone.
00:00:54I'm so glad. I hope you work there forever and never need my services again, but if you have any friends who are job hunting, please...
00:01:11All right, you three, make sure the girls are comfortable.
00:01:14Peter, boss needs you to check on the cabs before you wrap up.
00:01:17You got it. And Charlotte, please remind everyone of my number one close-up rule.
00:01:22Last leave double-checks that every gate is closed.
00:01:24There it is. Let's keep the good critters inside and the bad critters outside.
00:01:28Well, if you need anything at all, you just let me know, okay?
00:01:31Good.
00:01:33Okay, thanks. Actually, my birthday.
00:01:35I'm meeting my friend at my favorite restaurant, and I have arrived.
00:01:40So, good luck tomorrow, and we'll talk soon.
00:01:43We gotta go. Hanks and I are gonna be late. You guys, don't wait up.
00:01:46Nobody called me that.
00:01:47Hey, Henry. How come Charlotte gets invited to your birthday dinner, but we don't?
00:01:51Because Charlotte is my niece, and the rest of you can't be trusted out in public, even on a good day.
00:01:55All right. Let's get to work.
00:01:58Wow, look at this. Look who finally arrives.
00:02:22Why is it that you're always punctual except your birthday?
00:02:25Nice to see you two, ma.
00:02:27He was even born late.
00:02:29I think it's because he doesn't like being the center of attention, but today, it's only us.
00:02:34At your favorite restaurant.
00:02:35And no singing as promised, right?
00:02:38Right?
00:02:40Happy birthday.
00:02:41I'm kidding, Mom. I'm kidding.
00:02:42Yeah, yeah, yeah. Thank you, thank you, but I don't know what you all are talking about.
00:02:46I've got 545.
00:02:48No, I could have sworn it was 530.
00:02:50Mom, he changed the time on the app on the way over.
00:02:52What?
00:02:53Hey, come here for a second. I want to show you a little birthday surprise for you here.
00:02:58Okay, now.
00:02:58Come on.
00:03:00We are old. You can't do that sort of thing.
00:03:02I know.
00:03:03Let me get the...
00:03:04Happy birthday.
00:03:07What a guy. Still holding doors.
00:03:08It's your birthday.
00:03:22It's your birthday, girl.
00:03:25When did you get here?
00:03:27Don't ask me those questions.
00:03:28How dare you?
00:03:29Let's go.
00:03:30Come on.
00:03:30Sorry.
00:03:31Sorry.
00:03:32Sorry.
00:03:32Sorry.
00:03:33Sorry.
00:03:33Sorry.
00:03:33Sorry.
00:03:33Sorry.
00:03:33Sorry.
00:03:34Sorry.
00:03:38Come on.
00:03:40Come on.
00:03:40Come on.
00:03:40Come on.
00:03:40Come on.
00:03:41Come on.
00:03:41And surprise.
00:03:44Oh my gosh.
00:03:46Hi.
00:03:47Great to see you.
00:03:49Oh my gosh.
00:03:50Oh my gosh.
00:03:50How are you?
00:03:52Wow, Jess.
00:03:54Oh, thank you all for being here.
00:03:57How did you do this?
00:03:58Oh, come on.
00:03:58It's me.
00:03:59Of course I did this.
00:04:01Oh, you need one.
00:04:02Here.
00:04:02Oh, thank you.
00:04:03Oh, can I get some more?
00:04:05It's your birthday.
00:04:14Hey.
00:04:15Mm-hmm.
00:04:15Oh, they're custom.
00:04:18Yes.
00:04:18Custom sticky notes.
00:04:20You're welcome.
00:04:22Wow.
00:04:23That's great.
00:04:24We know what you like.
00:04:25Oh, speaking of that, you guys, we have one more present to give you.
00:04:30This is from all of us.
00:04:32Okay.
00:04:37What am I looking at here?
00:04:40Those are anytime, anyplace, no questions asked.
00:04:44Help coupons.
00:04:45So we can help take a little off your plate, and you can have a little time for yourself.
00:04:52Wow.
00:04:53Thank you, guys.
00:04:54She needs it, right?
00:04:57Yes.
00:05:02Oh.
00:05:03Oh.
00:05:04Uh, sorry.
00:05:05No problem.
00:05:07And happy birthday.
00:05:09You too.
00:05:11Henry.
00:05:13Casey.
00:05:13If you need help using up those coupons, just let me know.
00:05:21Oh, um, you know, I think it's a little early for re-gifting.
00:05:26Don't want to upset my co-workers.
00:05:28What do you do?
00:05:29I'm an executive recruiter.
00:05:31And you like it?
00:05:32Helping people find better jobs to improve their lives?
00:05:35Meh.
00:05:35It's all right.
00:05:37How about you?
00:05:38How is the pay for lumberjacks these days?
00:05:41Not a lumberjack.
00:05:44An L.L. Bean catalog model?
00:05:46Had to turn them down.
00:05:47Hmm.
00:05:48Farmer, actually.
00:05:50Oh.
00:05:50Uh, does it run in the family?
00:05:53No.
00:05:53No.
00:05:54Although they did take me to a petting farm when I was four, and I didn't want to leave.
00:06:00Still don't.
00:06:01Where's your farm?
00:06:02Not mine.
00:06:04I manage Eagle Canyon Dairy Farm over on Route 8.
00:06:07Oh, uh, by that ice cream spot.
00:06:09Hancock's.
00:06:10Do you like it?
00:06:11The ice cream?
00:06:12No, your job.
00:06:14It pays the bills.
00:06:16Sounds like you love it.
00:06:17What I would love is to have my own farm.
00:06:21A place like this with a focus on quality and community.
00:06:25Although, at my place, we might name the chickens.
00:06:27Well, if you ever need help landing a new job, or maybe naming some chickens, give me a call.
00:06:44I will.
00:06:45I will.
00:06:53It's nothing.
00:06:54Okay.
00:06:55Oh, oh, oh, guys, guys.
00:06:57Oh, it's coming.
00:06:59Oh.
00:07:00Oh.
00:07:00Oh.
00:07:01Oh.
00:07:02Oh.
00:07:03Oh.
00:07:04Oh.
00:07:05Oh.
00:07:06Oh.
00:07:07Simon.
00:07:09Oh.
00:07:10Oh.
00:07:11Oh.
00:07:12Oh.
00:07:13Oh.
00:07:14Well, oh.
00:07:15Oh.
00:07:16Oh.
00:07:17Oh.
00:07:18Oh.
00:07:20Oh.
00:07:21Hi, sorry to interrupt, there's no way we're gonna finish all of this cake, and since we're birthday twins, do you want to share?
00:07:31As long as there's no singing for me.
00:07:36Okay, but wait a minute, you two have to blow out the candles together.
00:07:51No, you have to close your eyes and make a wish, that's the rule.
00:07:58Okay.
00:07:59That's the rule.
00:08:21What is happening?
00:08:44What'd you wish for?
00:08:46I can't tell you, or it won't come true.
00:08:48You believe in that kind of stuff?
00:08:50I don't not believe it.
00:08:52What did you wish for?
00:08:53I guess I can't tell you either.
00:08:59I'm sorry, I should take this.
00:09:02Sure.
00:09:05So, what's the scoop?
00:09:07Nothing.
00:09:08Did he say he's a farmer?
00:09:09Yes.
00:09:10No, no.
00:09:13He's so cute.
00:09:15Oh, he's coming.
00:09:16Everything okay?
00:09:17Yeah.
00:09:18Yeah.
00:09:19Except I just got this weird spam call.
00:09:21Except the person knew my name and that it was my birthday.
00:09:25Somebody from a TV show.
00:09:26A TV show?
00:09:27Dance your heart out.
00:09:28Apparently it's some dance show.
00:09:29Are you all right?
00:09:30Henry, dance your heart out isn't just some dance show.
00:09:34It's a ridiculously popular TV show that airs across the country.
00:09:37It's like dancing with the stars, but with regular folks instead of celebs.
00:09:41Every season, the show goes to a different state and finds new people to compete and the contestants get to pick their own partner to dance on the show with them.
00:09:53On TV?
00:09:54Yes, live on TV.
00:09:55I've always wanted to do it.
00:09:56I could be your partner.
00:09:57I mean, if you don't have anyone.
00:09:58Oh, I would never.
00:09:59Absolutely not.
00:10:00But if you don't have anyone.
00:10:01Oh, I would never.
00:10:02Absolutely not.
00:10:03But if you don't have anyone.
00:10:04I would never.
00:10:05Absolutely not.
00:10:06But if you don't have anyone.
00:10:07It's like dancing with the stars, it's like dancing with the stars, but with regular folks instead of celebs.
00:10:11Every season, the show goes to a different state and finds new people to compete, and the contestants get to pick their own partner to dance on the show with them.
00:10:16I don't have anyone.
00:10:17Oh, I would never.
00:10:20Absolutely not.
00:10:23But if you want to take my place, do you have it?
00:10:27No, I can't.
00:10:28You'd have to invite me to be your partner.
00:10:31Otherwise, it'd be a scandal juicier than the Real Housewives.
00:10:34Who?
00:10:36Do you even own a TV?
00:10:38Look, I didn't even go to my high school prom.
00:10:41This just feels like one big opportunity for a whole bunch of people to laugh at me for having two left feet.
00:10:47And no, the viewers are actually really supportive.
00:10:50And there's no live audience.
00:10:52Great.
00:10:53Then they'll support me in saying no.
00:10:57Thanks for the birthday, Kate Casey.
00:10:59It is weird that he got a call from the show that you love.
00:11:12It's weirder than that.
00:11:14Wait.
00:11:15Did you wish for that?
00:11:17And he got it?
00:11:19Wow.
00:11:20That is woo-woo.
00:11:22Right?
00:11:23What are the odds?
00:11:24Maybe it's not odds.
00:11:25Maybe it's fate.
00:11:26Maybe it's the universe.
00:11:29Here.
00:11:30It's one last slice of birthday cake just for you.
00:11:32And don't believe what the experts say.
00:11:34Birthday cake makes a fabulous breakfast.
00:11:37Breakfast cake is the most important cake of the day.
00:11:39Obviously.
00:11:40Thank you for the lovely party.
00:11:42You're welcome.
00:11:43I love you.
00:11:44Aww.
00:11:45I love you too.
00:11:46Okay, I'll see you soon.
00:11:47Okay.
00:11:58Hello, this is a message for Casey Carter.
00:12:04This is the office of the state attorney, David D'Averill.
00:12:07If possible, please stop by our office first thing in the morning.
00:12:11It's a rather important matter we need to discuss.
00:12:14I have a great aunt?
00:12:16Had a great aunt.
00:12:18She was your grandmother's younger half-sister on your late mother's side.
00:12:21And you say her name was Gladys?
00:12:23I feel like I would have remembered her.
00:12:25The family dynamics were complicated.
00:12:27There were divorces and a large age gap between your grandmother and Gladys.
00:12:31They really had no relationship.
00:12:33She was also an only child with no next of kin.
00:12:36When did she pass?
00:12:37Four months ago.
00:12:38Her will was very clear.
00:12:40Her estate was to be left to the closest living relative we could find, and that's you.
00:12:45I just...
00:12:47I haven't had any family in so long.
00:12:49To find out that I did, but I didn't even know her.
00:12:52I know.
00:12:53It's a lot to take in.
00:12:56And now for the bad news.
00:12:58Super.
00:12:59We had to use up all Gladys' reserves to pay for workers to care for the animals until we could find her heir.
00:13:05You're gonna have to take possession of the property immediately.
00:13:09Animals?
00:13:10What kind of place did I inherit?
00:13:13A farm?
00:13:14Apparently.
00:13:15How big is it?
00:13:16I don't know.
00:13:17Big enough that they had to hire people.
00:13:19That's people, as in more than one person, to manage it.
00:13:22I have to find another solution by tomorrow.
00:13:24Honey, what are you gonna do?
00:13:25You've never even owned a goldfish.
00:13:27Never mind take care of whatever animals are on that farm.
00:13:30Oh, no, no, no, no.
00:13:32Those are work-related help coupons.
00:13:34Not plowing the back 40.
00:13:35No, the guy from last night.
00:13:37Henry.
00:13:38Okay.
00:13:39He told me he wanted a small farm.
00:13:41I think this was his wish.
00:13:43I gotta find him.
00:13:45Okay.
00:13:46This is so insanely crazy.
00:13:49I gotta go.
00:13:50I'll have to postpone my meetings until tomorrow, but I can do that from the route.
00:13:54Or...
00:13:55Will you please take my meetings until I'm back?
00:14:06I am so proud of you.
00:14:07Is that a yes?
00:14:08That is a yes.
00:14:09Go.
00:14:11I need you to go.
00:14:12Yeah.
00:14:13Hey.
00:14:14We'll get back those irrigation posts.
00:14:15Yeah, I'll catch you out there.
00:14:16Okay.
00:14:17Henry.
00:14:18Henry.
00:14:19Oh.
00:14:20Did you wish for a farm?
00:14:21Uh, what are you doing here?
00:14:22Last night, you wished you could own a small farm.
00:14:23Didn't you?
00:14:24I thought we weren't telling each other our wishes.
00:14:25Well, we are now.
00:14:26I wished I could be on Dancer Hardout.
00:14:27Okay.
00:14:28Let's go.
00:14:29Let's go.
00:14:30Hey, we'll get back those irrigation posts.
00:14:31Yeah, I'll catch you out there.
00:14:32Henry.
00:14:33Oh.
00:14:34Did you wish for a farm?
00:14:35Uh, what are you doing here?
00:14:36Last night, you wished you could own a small farm, didn't you?
00:14:37I thought we weren't telling each other our wishes.
00:14:38Well, we are now.
00:14:39I wished I could be on Dancer Hardout.
00:14:41Okay, if you're here to try and convince me to do it, the answer is still absolutely
00:14:56not.
00:14:57100%, actually.
00:14:58Okay, just slow down, please.
00:14:59Just hear me out.
00:15:00We blew out our candles and made our wishes at the exact same time, right?
00:15:04Right.
00:15:05And you immediately got a phone call telling you that you got my wish to be on the show,
00:15:08right?
00:15:09Right.
00:15:10So, this is the weird part.
00:15:12It gets weirder?
00:15:13At the party, I missed a call at 7.10.
00:15:16Check your phone.
00:15:17What time did your call come in?
00:15:247.10.
00:15:25The exact same time.
00:15:27Mine was from a trust attorney.
00:15:29It turns out I had an aunt I didn't know about.
00:15:32She passed and I inherited her estate.
00:15:35Sorry for your loss and congratulations, I guess.
00:15:39It's a farm, Henry.
00:15:40I inherited a small farm like three miles from here, with animals and other agricultural
00:15:46stuff.
00:15:47Look, I know how all of this sounds, but our wishes got swapped, Henry.
00:15:52They came true, but we got each other's.
00:15:55That makes absolutely no sense.
00:15:56Just go with me here.
00:15:58There's one slice of cake left.
00:16:02I'm thinking if we make our wishes again, they'll reverse and we'll get the right wishes.
00:16:16You realize how crazy this sounds?
00:16:18Yep.
00:16:19All right, light her up.
00:16:26Close our eyes.
00:16:27Eyes closed.
00:16:28Mr. McMillan, please confirm your participation on Dance Your Heart Out by end of day today.
00:16:49It didn't work.
00:16:50Okay, well, first things first.
00:16:55I now own a farm.
00:16:57There's a team of people that have been working there, but their agreement ends today, so I need someone to take care of things while I sort this out.
00:17:05Well, good luck with that.
00:17:07Henry, you're literally the only farmer I know.
00:17:10I also already have a job.
00:17:12But is it a job you love?
00:17:14It's a job that will be here long after you figure out whatever it is you're doing here.
00:17:19Plus, I live here.
00:17:20Okay, how about this?
00:17:22I hire you for a year, guaranteed.
00:17:24Part-time, so you can still work and live here.
00:17:27I'm listening.
00:17:29You could run the farm as you see fit.
00:17:31Name the chickens, if there are any, and bank the extra money to own your own farm someday.
00:17:37My folks taught me to be suspicious of something that sounds too good to be true.
00:17:41Okay, I just need one small thing in exchange.
00:17:46I knew it.
00:17:48No.
00:17:49No, no, no.
00:17:50It's just one song.
00:17:51A minute tops.
00:17:52I do not dance.
00:17:53But you can learn, and you'd get to run your own farm.
00:17:57I could help.
00:18:00And nobody would need to know.
00:18:02You wouldn't tell anybody.
00:18:04I wouldn't tell anyone.
00:18:06It is on TV, but never mind.
00:18:09If you make my wish come true, I'll make yours come true.
00:18:14Deal?
00:18:16Okay, all right, deal.
00:18:20Now let's go see this farm.
00:18:22Sure.
00:18:23Just after you respond to the dance show.
00:18:26Huh?
00:18:27Perfect.
00:18:28After you.
00:18:29Okay.
00:18:31Well, I guess great aunt Gladys was pretty old.
00:18:46She could have used some of those coupons you got.
00:18:58Look, if you want to back out, I'll totally understand.
00:19:03Are you kidding?
00:19:04It's perfect.
00:19:05I can be over every morning and evening before and after my regular job to take care of the critters and all my days off.
00:19:10I'll do as much of the other work as I can.
00:19:13Really?
00:19:14I could use some sprucing, but I think I can wrangle some help for us.
00:19:21Welcome to farm life, Kasey.
00:19:24And watch your step.
00:19:26Oh!
00:19:28Wipes!
00:19:52So where you been cowboy?
00:19:54At my other job.
00:19:59Okay, it's no big deal.
00:20:00Remember Kasey from my birthday dinner?
00:20:02She inherited a great little farm up the road and I've agreed to help her with it.
00:20:07Part time for a year or maybe a little longer if things go well.
00:20:13Well, who's going to help you out out there? I mean, besides me.
00:20:16Charlotte, that's too much to ask.
00:20:18Listen, honey penny.
00:20:19Don't call me that.
00:20:20When have you ever known me to take no for an answer?
00:20:22I'm in too.
00:20:24Mostly because I hate when you guys exclude me from anything.
00:20:26Welcome everyone to this season of Dance Your Heart Out.
00:20:38I'm your host, Spencer.
00:20:39And over the next few weeks, we're going to find out which one of you couples has the most soul in those toes.
00:20:44And after each couple has done their dance, the judges will pass down their decisions, which will be live and televised.
00:20:53Okay.
00:20:54I think that summarizes all of the rules.
00:20:56So, any questions?
00:20:58All right.
00:21:00Let's move on to the moment you've all been dying to know.
00:21:04What dance will you be doing in the first round?
00:21:08Did he just?
00:21:09I'm sorry.
00:21:10What did you just say?
00:21:11Perfect.
00:21:12Help me reveal our first dance.
00:21:14Put your hands together.
00:21:16For our incredible instructor, Coach Gloria.
00:21:27Laying it on a little thick, Spencer, but I'll take it.
00:21:30Don't you worry, my dears.
00:21:33I will whip you into shape in no time.
00:21:37We can't have you embarrassing yourself on national television.
00:21:40Mm-hmm.
00:21:41Can we?
00:21:42Mm-mm.
00:21:47Felt like it was directed for Annie.
00:21:50Thank you, Gloria.
00:21:51That's your hands.
00:21:53And for our first dance, the waltz.
00:22:00So, like every season on Dance Your Heart Out, we start with all six couples.
00:22:05And after the first round, two couples will be eliminated.
00:22:08Excuse me.
00:22:09Spencer, was it?
00:22:10Yes.
00:22:11Uh, new here.
00:22:12First round.
00:22:13How many rounds are there, exactly?
00:22:17There are, in fact, three rounds.
00:22:21Three?
00:22:22Three rounds.
00:22:24Yeah, you left that part out.
00:22:26Excuse me.
00:22:27Two couples will be eliminated, culminating in just two couples in the finals competing head-to-head.
00:22:34Sorry, we'll be right back.
00:22:36Henry.
00:22:37No.
00:22:38Henry.
00:22:39Stop it.
00:22:40You bamboozled me, Casey.
00:22:42Hey.
00:22:43No.
00:22:44Hey, where are you going?
00:22:45Three dances.
00:22:46Henry.
00:22:47Three different rounds.
00:22:49Henry!
00:22:50What?
00:22:51We're not advancing.
00:22:52Did you see those other couples?
00:22:54Most of them are in matching outfits.
00:22:55They probably stretched for an hour before we got here.
00:22:58We're not advancing.
00:22:59It doesn't matter.
00:23:00Can we please just go in there and have some fun?
00:23:05Or I could go to Target and get us some matching leggings first.
00:23:09Fine.
00:23:11You're welcome.
00:23:12But you did know there were three rounds.
00:23:13I did not.
00:23:14You did.
00:23:15It's a simple waltz, Henry.
00:23:16Let's pretend, I don't know what that means.
00:23:17Apparently, I don't have to pretend.
00:23:18Ready and.
00:23:21One, two, three.
00:23:24One, two, three.
00:23:38One, two, three.
00:23:41Go slowly.
00:23:44slowly and okay back two three all right let me it's okay henry just try again all right fine
00:23:58ready back two three forward two three other foot forward henry just listen to the music
00:24:08feel more and think less i am feeling it i'm feeling like i should be anywhere else
00:24:14in the world i think that's an inside thought it was not
00:24:20ready and one two three back two three left two three the other left other other left henry
00:24:32your left foot that is my left foot other left
00:24:38casey wait up wait why are we going to the bakery because i have to figure out how this happened
00:24:44right and how is going to the bakery gonna do that that's where my birthday cake came from and my
00:24:49birthday cake is ground zero for this whole thing so i'm thinking if i can just talk to the baker and
00:24:53see if we did something magical to the cake okay just stop for a second okay just slow down and
00:24:59really think about what you're saying no casey
00:25:05i just can't figure out if this whole thing actually is magic why would the universe swap
00:25:11my wish with someone that can't dance i honestly don't know but what i do know is that it's not
00:25:17the cake's fault look you know i believe in the stars aligning and all of that but i don't think
00:25:22you're going to find the answers that you're looking for by interrogating some poor baker
00:25:26i think you just need to see this through and trust the journey
00:25:35you're right i know
00:25:38thank you you're welcome and if we don't figure it out we will come back here or we will interrogate
00:25:43that baker deal okay good can we go to work please please yes thank you i kind of did want a cookie though
00:25:56about time you slackers showed up casey we love the farm thank you for giving the frequently
00:26:02disagreeable hank this opportunity stop calling me that well you are frequently disagreeable that may be
00:26:08but it doesn't mean i like being called hank or hen or any of the other names she calls me i'm peter
00:26:14nice to meet you you too okay henry what do you want us uh start with the dairy cows charlotte see
00:26:20if you can rig up a scratching post for them in the pasture there should be some old brushes we can
00:26:23repurpose on it change of clothes yeah you know had them lying around
00:26:38so where do you want me okay so you don't have to do this i know where do you want me
00:26:44do you want me okay this way all right after you take the eggs you bring them to the refrigerator
00:27:07bay but first let the girls out in the yard and scatter some feed for them okay okay
00:27:15wait how do i get the eggs from under the chickens feel more think less nice
00:27:27okay ladies this is gonna be a little invasive i know i know listen have you ever heard of a hen named
00:27:37chicken little she's sweet but a little dramatic not unlike you so one day an acorn come right on her head
00:27:49so right off the bat i like to clean off her bag and her teeth so we don't get any contaminants in the
00:28:03milk you know one thing that is really helpful with her is that she's used to being milk so she's gonna
00:28:09stand real still what you doing uh nothing you ever milk a cow before no but i've seen it done before oh yeah
00:28:21where
00:28:21where
00:28:24the amish reality show
00:28:29a bucket and stool will do in a pinch but over at eagle canyon we've got
00:28:33a state of the art technology and an automated milking parlor well out here we don't have an
00:28:40automated milking parlor like i said this will do in a pinch besides when killie'd ask for a little help
00:28:49come on i'll show you how it's done you want to get your thumb and forefinger as high as possible and
00:28:56then gently squeeze the remaining fingers top to bottom always down never up got it my turn yeah all right
00:29:09i'm doing it yeah you are not bad for your first time can we drink it absolutely not how come
00:29:32because we didn't bother with pesky things like disinfectant or cleaning equipment are you taking
00:29:37a tone with me over cow hygiene no tone taken here like that thanks for your hard work today charlotte
00:29:52it's the least i can do and you sure you don't need a ride back peter's gonna take me sure hop in
00:29:58thanks also can you run me into town to pick up a few things i don't know i mean i can still go with
00:30:03my eyes no no i'll give you red so much today well this is beautiful magic hour on the farm chores
00:30:20are done for the day everyone's cared for and gates are locked for the night then you get up and do it
00:30:27all over again just like your job i guess so but around here it's about community you can't do it all by yourself
00:30:47can i tell you a little story sure all right bear with me
00:30:54a young farmhand applied for a job with a grumpy old farmer who didn't want any help but his wife
00:31:04liked the young man so she forced her husband to hire him anyway sometime later the farmer and his
00:31:10wife wake up to a violent storm he shoots out of bed to make sure everything's secure only to discover
00:31:17that the windows are latched the tools and tractors were safely stowed and all the animals were calm
00:31:24in the barn with plenty of feed it was in that moment the farmer understood the importance
00:31:32of leaning on others he learned to trust exactly
00:31:40so hypothetically if there was a person who was being asked by her co-workers to
00:31:49delegate and trust a little more said person might do better if they learned to ask for help
00:31:59once in a while well if i meet a person like that i will make sure to let them know perfect
00:32:08growing up it was just me and my mom and she worked all the time
00:32:24so i was alone a lot and i got pretty good at being self-sufficient
00:32:30i guess i guess i also got pretty bad at asking for help
00:32:39where's your mom now she passed right when i started college
00:32:47all those years i only thought i was alone
00:32:50then i found out what being alone really feels like
00:33:00trusting people after that just got tougher you know
00:33:04well
00:33:18this waltz isn't gonna rehearse itself
00:33:22you ready
00:33:22all right but first can i tell you a secret okay i am not a good dancer
00:33:34no mr mcmillan you are not but you are a hard worker and dedicated and you know how to trust yourself
00:33:43so i'm thinking you close your eyes come on close them
00:33:54oh man what why do guys always get the nicest eyelashes i promise i'm grateful for them every day
00:34:03okay seriously keep them closed and just do one thing trust yourself
00:34:14wait wait uh you're gonna keep yours open though right because if we dance off the
00:34:19back of this truck okay revised instructions trust yourself and trust me
00:34:33just relax no one's watching
00:34:47oh
00:35:43Casey Carter and Henry McMillan.
00:35:46Hi, Spencer.
00:35:47So, Casey, I heard you're a corporate recruiter.
00:35:49That's right.
00:35:51And Henry, you're a farmer.
00:35:53A real farmer?
00:35:55Yeah, I've got the overalls and everything.
00:35:59And so why did you two decide to dance together?
00:36:03Uh, we were celebrating our birthdays at the same restaurant when Henry got the call.
00:36:09So, I agreed to help him learn how to dance if he'd...
00:36:13Agreed to teach her how to milk a cow.
00:36:16At which I am an utter failure.
00:36:20See what I have to deal with?
00:36:22Cute couple.
00:36:25So, Henry, what are you hoping for?
00:36:28Just for this nightmare to be over, Spencer.
00:36:31Ha ha ha ha ha!
00:36:33We got a real comedian here today.
00:36:35Oh, and it looks like the judges have reached their final decision.
00:36:40Hmm.
00:36:41I don't normally agree with the judges, but this time, the decision is unanimous across the board.
00:36:49Advancing to the next round is...
00:36:51Team 1!
00:36:54Next we have...
00:36:56Team 3!
00:36:59Team 4!
00:37:00And last but not least...
00:37:03Team 6!
00:37:12That's right, Henry.
00:37:13Looks like you'll be coming back next week.
00:37:15Where our four remaining couples will be competing in...
00:37:18Swing dancing!
00:37:26Swing dancing!
00:37:27One, two, three.
00:37:32Three!
00:37:43One, two, three.
00:37:47Hey, back to work.
00:38:17Okay, just click the link to upload your resume.
00:38:23Great.
00:38:24I look forward to working with you.
00:38:27Les?
00:38:28So, tell me everything.
00:38:30That was my second new client this morning.
00:38:32I should have gone on TV years ago.
00:38:34And it has me inspired to want to help my clients more long-term.
00:38:37I'm actually putting together a presentation.
00:38:39Casey, did you think I meant work-related?
00:38:41Okay, fine.
00:38:42But I have to be at a meeting in five minutes.
00:38:44So, rapid fire, go.
00:38:46Okay, how is Spencer?
00:38:47He's a little into himself, but not nearly as much as I thought.
00:38:49Oh.
00:38:50What are the other couples like?
00:38:51Honestly, really nice.
00:38:52They're kind of treating us like the underdogs.
00:38:53Aw.
00:38:54Did you get to keep that dress?
00:38:55I wish.
00:38:56Has Henry kissed you yet?
00:38:57What? No.
00:38:58Oh, come on.
00:38:59I have seen you two on TV.
00:39:00It's called performing, Jess.
00:39:02Mm-mm-mm.
00:39:03Sorry, I don't buy it.
00:39:04Okay, well, buy it or not, this is all temporary.
00:39:07I don't even have time to think about anything else.
00:39:09Between work and the farm and dance rehearsals every day, I am exhausted.
00:39:12Mm-hmm.
00:39:13But I am kind of excited to be doing something for myself for once.
00:39:17I'm excited for you, too.
00:39:19I still think he's into you.
00:39:20Okay.
00:39:21Because there is no story that can't be told as a love story, which is from Billy Crystal.
00:39:26That was Billy Wilder.
00:39:28Billy Wilder said that, too.
00:39:30Both of them said it.
00:39:31I know they did.
00:39:38Did you guys drop a truck on the Wicked Witch of the farm?
00:39:41Good one.
00:39:42I mean, I'm just here to tease him because there's no way he's getting this thing started.
00:39:46As much as it kills me, she might be right.
00:39:49Try it now.
00:39:50That was attempt number 132.
00:40:00Will Uncle Hennifer go for 133?
00:40:02Don't count him out yet, Charlotte.
00:40:04That is one determined farmer down there.
00:40:07None of this is helping.
00:40:09Okay, try it one more time.
00:40:11All right.
00:40:12All right.
00:40:13Shut it down.
00:40:14I am impressed.
00:40:15Is there anything you can't do?
00:40:16Just swing dance.
00:40:17See, just because something's old doesn't mean it's not so useful.
00:40:35I don't think he's talking about my truck anymore.
00:40:38No, this birthday really affected him.
00:40:40Hmm.
00:40:43So, I got something for you guys.
00:40:48It's in the office.
00:40:52With everyone coming and going, I thought it would be smart to have a check off board.
00:40:57So, if you do something, you just initial in the box.
00:40:59That way, if we're not here at the same time, we know who has done what.
00:41:03It's actually a brilliant idea.
00:41:04Of course it is.
00:41:05A woman thought of it.
00:41:10Honey, it's a professional.
00:41:11Oh!
00:41:15Oh!
00:41:16Okay, okay.
00:41:18Hold on!
00:41:19Oh!
00:41:20All right.
00:41:21Come on!
00:41:22Hold on!
00:41:23Ah!
00:41:24Ahh!
00:41:25Ahh!
00:41:27Ahh!
00:41:29Henry?
00:41:35Help!
00:41:37Okay.
00:41:42Ah!
00:41:45Ah!
00:41:48Ah!
00:41:49Ah!
00:41:50Ah!
00:41:51Ah!
00:41:52Ah!
00:41:53Ah!
00:41:54Ah!
00:41:55Ah!
00:41:56Ah!
00:41:57Ah!
00:41:58For the record, I did ask for help.
00:42:01That was after you got into trouble.
00:42:04Baby steps.
00:42:05You're still gonna make me swing dance tonight, aren't you?
00:42:08Sure am.
00:42:12Uh...
00:42:14Hold on.
00:42:16Hello?
00:42:21Yeah.
00:42:25Uh...
00:42:26Uh-huh.
00:42:28What's going on?
00:42:39Do you know the comedian George Grant?
00:42:43Sure.
00:42:44That was him.
00:42:45He saw us on Dance Your Heart Out and thought our shtick was, and I quote, hilarious.
00:42:52And it gets weirder.
00:42:53He's in town for a few days, and his opening act canceled, and he asked if we would open for him, which I told him we'd never do, but...
00:43:02Uh...
00:43:03Uh...
00:43:07Casey?
00:43:08I'm so sorry.
00:43:09You did this?
00:43:13Casey, how many wishes did you make that night?
00:43:15I make a list every year on my birthday.
00:43:18Of resolutions?
00:43:19No.
00:43:20A list of things I want to accomplish that year.
00:43:22And I put them in a little file on my computer desktop to remind me every day to do them.
00:43:26Like a bucket list?
00:43:28No.
00:43:29A birthday list.
00:43:30Three things every year.
00:43:32So, technically, getting on Dance Your Heart Out wasn't your wish.
00:43:36Your wish was for your bucket list...
00:43:38Birthday list.
00:43:39Birthday list to come true?
00:43:40Right.
00:43:41And dancing was just number one on that list?
00:43:43Correct.
00:43:44And why didn't you mention the other two?
00:43:45Because I only made one wish to do my birthday list.
00:43:48And stand-up comedy...
00:43:50Is the second thing on the list.
00:43:52But seriously, I was thinking some open mic night.
00:43:55Well, I'm off the hook.
00:43:56I only made a deal to dance.
00:43:58Well, technically, you made a deal to make my wish come true.
00:44:01Remember?
00:44:02No.
00:44:03No, I do not remember.
00:44:05I do because I specifically worded it that way.
00:44:08So, you pulled the fast one.
00:44:10Casey, why does it have to be stand-up comedy?
00:44:12Why couldn't you wish for something fun?
00:44:15It's going to be so much fun.
00:44:17Especially because we get to do it together.
00:44:19Trust me.
00:44:20Trust you.
00:44:21Come on.
00:44:22We're funny.
00:44:23We can do this.
00:44:24Come on.
00:44:25And it'll give you something to tell your grandkids about.
00:44:28Other than stories about the time the well pump exploded.
00:44:31Well pumps don't explode.
00:44:32They do if you don't know what you're doing.
00:44:34Okay, what's wish number three?
00:44:36Number three?
00:44:37Oh, on my list?
00:44:39Uh, don't worry about that.
00:44:41Why not?
00:44:42Because number three has nothing to do with you.
00:44:44You can't do it.
00:44:45Casey, I don't want to do stand-up comedy.
00:44:48What if I sweetened the pot?
00:44:50With what?
00:44:52What if?
00:44:53What?
00:44:54What if?
00:44:55I gave you half ownership of the farm and you could live in the farmhouse for free.
00:45:00And that way you could quit your other job and just be here full time.
00:45:03No.
00:45:04Why not?
00:45:05Because at some point the third thing on your list is going to come up and I'm not going
00:45:07to want to do it and you're going to get mad and kick me out.
00:45:10There.
00:45:11Poof.
00:45:12You are officially released from number three.
00:45:14And I guarantee you can live on this farm for free for two years.
00:45:17Even if I get mad at you.
00:45:18Which, let's face it, is fairly likely.
00:45:21Where are you going?
00:45:22To get my stuff and quit.
00:45:36come on Gloria, how about that.
00:45:37There.
00:45:38There.
00:45:39How about that?
00:45:55Come on, Gloria.
00:46:05How about that?
00:46:06You're not as hopeless as I thought.
00:46:09I'll take that as success.
00:46:11Don't let success go to your head.
00:46:13And don't let failure go to your heart.
00:46:15Am I right?
00:46:17Thank you, Gloria.
00:46:19She loves me.
00:46:25What are you doing?
00:46:40Uh, nothing.
00:46:41Was that a swing dance video?
00:46:43No.
00:46:46I'm sorry, do you need something?
00:46:48I could use your help.
00:46:50Well, I could be proud of you for asking.
00:46:56Can it?
00:46:56There is a mutant rat in the chicken coop.
00:46:58He's hissing at me, and I'm scared he's going to jump on my face.
00:47:01Please help.
00:47:08Casey.
00:47:10That is an opossum, not a rat.
00:47:13And it's more likely to eat all the eggs in the coop than do any face jumping.
00:47:17I'm getting a broom.
00:47:18But face jumping is still on the table, isn't it?
00:47:22No.
00:47:44Hey.
00:47:45Hey.
00:47:45So, listen, uh, we've been working pretty hard, and it got me thinking it might be time
00:47:54to reward ourselves with some fun.
00:47:59Work-life balance?
00:48:00Big fan.
00:48:02So, what do you have in mind?
00:48:05There you go.
00:48:27Oh, thank you, Casey.
00:48:28Mac is not giving up his grill master title easily.
00:48:35Oh.
00:48:36I'm sure Henry is taking all of his advice with an open heart and willingness to compromise.
00:48:42Henry's never been good at giving up control.
00:48:52I get that.
00:48:54But he does seem to value your opinion.
00:48:57Sometimes.
00:48:57So, where's your family?
00:49:01Do they live nearby?
00:49:03Uh, no family.
00:49:06It's just me now.
00:49:09Well then, you're welcome to join us anytime.
00:49:12All right.
00:49:16Come help me get those salads from the fridge.
00:49:27Hey, you busy?
00:49:30Cool.
00:49:30So, listen, do you know if Charlotte is, you know, seeing anyone?
00:49:34Or would like to go out, maybe, with me?
00:49:37I mean, maybe you should write her a note.
00:49:40I can pass it to her in gym class.
00:49:41You can circle yes, no, or maybe.
00:49:43I should probably ask her, huh?
00:49:46Yeah.
00:49:51You know, you could do some asking yourself.
00:49:53Okay, no, but seriously, okay?
00:50:05Lasso?
00:50:06That's cowboy stuff.
00:50:07That's not farmer stuff.
00:50:08So many do.
00:50:09You sure about that?
00:50:10Wow.
00:50:11I don't know.
00:50:12Throwing a lasso isn't easy.
00:50:13I've never heard him talk about it.
00:50:15That's because a bull doesn't need to claim its turf with roar, Pops.
00:50:19But a bull doesn't roar, does it?
00:50:21You know what I mean.
00:50:23Besides, you've never seen me do any farming.
00:50:26That's not true.
00:50:27Remember that year you dug up all my flowers to plant tomatoes and corn?
00:50:32Hmm?
00:50:32On the other hand, we never knew he could waltz, either.
00:50:36Ooh.
00:50:38Okay, guys, guys, we're getting sidetracked here.
00:50:41Let's get back to the question at hand.
00:50:42Now, do we think Henry can lasso?
00:50:46Or is he making things up again?
00:50:49Let's see a show of hands.
00:50:49I vote no.
00:50:50He cannot.
00:50:51One no.
00:50:51No.
00:50:52He's my son.
00:50:52He can do anything.
00:50:53One one.
00:50:54Definitive.
00:50:55Jess?
00:50:56Oh, no.
00:50:57I'm staying neutral.
00:50:58I'm like Switzerland.
00:51:00Smart girl.
00:51:01Casey?
00:51:04I'm voting yes.
00:51:06Because Henry runs modest, so if he says he can do something, I believe him.
00:51:11Okay.
00:51:12Well, I'm a no, so that makes it two two.
00:51:13So now, the only way to break the tie, I guess, is to see it, brother.
00:51:20Yes.
00:51:20Come on, cowboy.
00:51:21All right.
00:51:22Yes.
00:51:23Yes.
00:51:23Yes.
00:51:23Come on, Henry.
00:51:25Come on.
00:51:26Come on.
00:51:26Come on.
00:51:26There's magic in the air.
00:51:28Come on, Henry.
00:51:29Come on.
00:51:29All right.
00:51:30Come on, Henry.
00:51:30All right.
00:51:31All right.
00:51:31All right.
00:51:33Okay.
00:51:34All right.
00:51:34Not bad for a dancer.
00:51:46All right.
00:51:46All right.
00:51:47All right.
00:51:48All right.
00:51:49All right.
00:51:50All right.
00:51:51All right.
00:51:52All right.
00:51:53All right.
00:51:54All right.
00:51:55All right.
00:51:56Follow your heart to Venus or Mars.
00:51:59Why don't you?
00:52:00If the world starts to feel loved,
00:52:30only you know turning back is easy, just come home, come home.
00:52:56Be serious.
00:52:57I am being serious.
00:52:59We cannot name the farm Utter Delight.
00:53:02Oh, what about something with meadows in it?
00:53:07Kind of sappy for a farm.
00:53:10Sounds like a retirement home for cows.
00:53:19Just coyotes.
00:53:20And a reminder, it's time for my nightly rounds.
00:53:25Nightly rounds?
00:53:27Last thing I do every night.
00:53:29Make sure the good critters are inside and the bad critters are outside.
00:53:36You can come with or stay here with coyotes.
00:53:42I'll come with.
00:53:43This seemed like a good audience, right?
00:53:56Yeah.
00:53:57Except I am not qualified to judge the demeanor of a mob.
00:53:59Okay.
00:54:00First off, it's an audience, not a mob.
00:54:15And we know our routine.
00:54:17We got this.
00:54:18Besides, even if we bomb, no one's gonna know.
00:54:21No, it's not like everybody out there doesn't have a phone in their pocket.
00:54:24They don't, actually.
00:54:25George Grant doesn't allow recordings at his shows.
00:54:27He's super strict about it.
00:54:28What?
00:54:29I think it's so he can test out new jokes.
00:54:30Okay.
00:54:31Okay.
00:54:32You're right.
00:54:33It's fine.
00:54:34I'm gonna be fine.
00:54:35We're gonna be fine.
00:54:36We're gonna be great.
00:54:37I mean, what's the worst that could happen?
00:54:42And that's how we ended up here.
00:54:45Henry, anything you'd like to add?
00:54:49Uh.
00:54:51Uh.
00:54:52Mm-mm.
00:54:53Like maybe that joke about bad first dates that we rehearsed a million times?
00:54:59Okay.
00:55:01In case y'all hadn't noticed, Henry has left us.
00:55:05And since our routine requires two people with pulses, I'm gonna have to do a little off-roading
00:55:12here.
00:55:13Casey.
00:55:14Maybe we should involve the audience.
00:55:17Anyone have any questions?
00:55:19Uh, yes.
00:55:20You, in the flowered top.
00:55:22My question is for the man in the coma.
00:55:25Bold move, but let's try.
00:55:27Sir, what's the dumbest thing you've ever done on a farm?
00:55:31Um.
00:55:32I'm guessing agreeing to do stand-up with Casey, but let's see how this unfolds.
00:55:38Yeah, that's absolutely right.
00:55:42Oh, and or the great goat escape of 2019.
00:55:46Uh, care to elaborate?
00:55:53I do not.
00:55:56Are you the hero of this story?
00:55:59I am not.
00:56:01Yeah, I'm gonna have to hear these details later.
00:56:03I'm taking that story to my grave.
00:56:05We'll see about that.
00:56:07Okay, anyone else?
00:56:10You, in the back.
00:56:12What is your favorite dance move?
00:56:15Me?
00:56:16Yeah, you.
00:56:17Uh, do y'all wanna see it?
00:56:21Leaning on a wall, watching other people dance.
00:56:32That's it, that's the move.
00:56:36Oh, it looks like that's our time.
00:56:42I know, I know, I know, I know, but you can catch us live tomorrow night on Dance Your Heart Out,
00:56:49where we will attempt to swing dance.
00:56:52Followed by ER visit with Casey after he face plants me.
00:56:56I'm not gonna drop her.
00:56:58You say that with the delusional confidence of a man who has already dropped me multiple times.
00:57:03Ladies and gentlemen, please grab a drink and a break.
00:57:08And up next is everyone's favorite, George Grant.
00:57:21Oh, thank you for doing that with me.
00:57:24Thank you for saving the day back there.
00:57:26Did you know Charlotte, Peter, and Jess were gonna be here?
00:57:29I worked it out with them in case we needed a little icebreaker.
00:57:33But you didn't think you could maybe tell me?
00:57:36It's no big deal.
00:57:37They came to support us and step in in case one of us needed it.
00:57:41A wise man once told me that having a community of people around to help is so important.
00:57:49Okay, fair enough.
00:57:50Also, I think Charlotte and Peter wanted to ask each other out, but didn't know how.
00:57:55So, presto, they're on a date.
00:57:57So, you're matchmaking now?
00:58:00Let's call it romantic recruiter.
00:58:04So, listen, you know I make my birthday list every year.
00:58:14Yeah.
00:58:15But what you don't know is that this is the first year I've done more than one item on the list.
00:58:21In fact, most years I don't do any of them.
00:58:26Really?
00:58:28Well, now you've already done two.
00:58:33I have, thanks to you.
00:58:36And you've got the whole rest of the year to do the third thing on your list, which you are still being very evasive about.
00:58:45Number three remains firmly in the land of my business, which does not intersect in the land of your business at any point.
00:58:53And you say that, but I am still waiting for a call from Shark Encounters Incorporated.
00:58:59There will be no phone call.
00:59:02I promise.
00:59:03We may not notice.
00:59:04We may not notice.
00:59:05I promise.
00:59:06We may not notice.
00:59:07We may not notice.
00:59:08We may not notice.
00:59:09We may not notice.
00:59:10We may not notice.
00:59:11What if we don't notice.
00:59:12Charlotte?
00:59:13Hold on.
00:59:14Hello.
00:59:16Yes, thank you.
00:59:17I love you too.
00:59:18Yeah, but don't call me that.
00:59:19Okay.
00:59:20All right.
00:59:22Yes. Thank you. I love you, too. Yeah, but don't call me that
00:59:30Okay, all right well have fun
00:59:38Charlotte and Peter are on their way to Hancock's
00:59:43On a date can we do that too sometime?
00:59:52I mean, go get ice cream there. I hear it's delicious
00:59:59Hancock's ice cream will make you a better person
01:00:22Yeah, I didn't drop you. I still want that goat story
01:00:37I didn't drop you. I still want that goat story
01:00:50It truly has been difficult tonight because these four teams have been spectacular
01:01:09But unfortunately two couples do have to go home
01:01:14Advancing to the finals are you know this reminds me that one time last season
01:01:21Okay, okay, ah
01:01:25Advancing to the final round is team number three
01:01:30And the last couple to head to the finals is team number six
01:01:47Now on to the final dance
01:01:49Final dance
01:01:56One of my favorites the tango
01:02:04If you say so and we'll see you next time on dance your heart out
01:02:09In these days of online job ads and AI auto responses it's important we continue to evolve to stay competitive
01:02:23My proposal is we actually go back to the basics for a more hands-on approach
01:02:42No, not hands-on personal touch
01:02:44Oh, it sounds like a car wash
01:02:49Hey
01:02:51How's the presentation going?
01:02:53I'm still trying to find the best way to convince a few change-resistant people that we have to try new things
01:02:59Well, if anyone can you can
01:03:05That looks familiar
01:03:08My favorite place
01:03:10And right there in front
01:03:12The infamous birthday list
01:03:14Sure is
01:03:16You know not knowing is driving me crazy
01:03:20I know, but it still doesn't concern you
01:03:23Fair enough
01:03:25I should get to cleaning some gutters and leave you to work
01:03:28Sounds like a good time
01:03:30Always is
01:03:32See you later?
01:03:34Yeah
01:03:39I can't look at that presentation anymore
01:03:40I can't look at that presentation anymore
01:03:49I can't look at that presentation anymore.
01:04:07I just spent five minutes agonizing about which version of two, two, or two I should use.
01:04:12Well, you can forget all that because it's time to dance, T-O, now that you're here too, T-O-O, and it takes two, D-W-O, to tango.
01:04:42The perfect end to a long day of farming and dancing.
01:04:55And recruiting.
01:04:57And recruiting.
01:04:58How could I forget?
01:05:00You're right about Hancock's ice cream.
01:05:03Told ya.
01:05:04It is making me a better person.
01:05:07I thought of a name for the farm, by the way.
01:05:09What's that?
01:05:11Wishful Meadow.
01:05:12Wishful Meadow's.
01:05:13It's perfect.
01:05:16And if not, we could always go back to my first idea of poultry in motion.
01:05:22You were like a walking dad joke.
01:05:24I should put that on my resume.
01:05:27You should.
01:05:28Fortunately, thanks to you and Nick Gladys, I won't be needing my resume for a long, long time.
01:05:35It's true.
01:05:38You still getting client calls from everyone who's seen you on TV?
01:05:43Sure am.
01:05:44My bosses are happy about that part, at least.
01:05:49But?
01:05:50But they don't like me working out here.
01:05:54They want me available all day, every day.
01:05:57And I guess after we finish our tango, I'll be going back to that.
01:06:01I won't be out here nearly as much.
01:06:06It's just, being out here every day felt like I was doing something for myself.
01:06:15You know?
01:06:16You brighten this place up.
01:06:22Besides, you haven't even named any of the chickens yet.
01:06:25That's true.
01:06:26That's true.
01:06:28And clearly, you cannot be trusted to do that without me.
01:06:30You know, I've been thinking about starting my own business.
01:06:42Especially now that people are calling and asking for me, not the company in general.
01:06:47I think that's a great idea.
01:06:49Yeah.
01:06:50But I'm not like you.
01:06:54You knew what you wanted, and you went after it.
01:06:57I have a hard time prioritizing your happiness.
01:07:10It's okay.
01:07:12They can't urge you.
01:07:13You're safe.
01:07:15They sound really close.
01:07:17It's just coyotes doing coyote things.
01:07:21Do you want to come on rounds with me?
01:07:30I should really review my presentation one more time and get home.
01:07:35But I'll see you at dance rehearsals.
01:07:38Yeah.
01:07:42Hey, Casey.
01:07:43Text me when you're home safe.
01:07:47Deal.
01:07:51Good night, ladies.
01:08:16Good night, ladies.
01:08:16Good night, ladies.
01:08:46Good night, ladies.
01:11:16Hey.
01:11:17Hey.
01:11:18You missed the meeting this morning.
01:11:19Are you on your way to dance rehearsal?
01:11:20No.
01:11:21I overslept.
01:11:22Oh.
01:11:23Well, what's the status on the presentation?
01:11:24Do you want me to prove it?
01:11:26Yes.
01:11:27Please.
01:11:28Let me send that to you.
01:11:33That's weird.
01:11:38What?
01:11:39I see.
01:11:40I'll call you back.
01:11:44Hello?
01:11:46Hello?
01:11:47I see.
01:11:53I see.
01:11:54Kasey?
01:12:24Good morning.
01:12:33Hey. Thanks for coming in early to help. You look nice this morning. Anyway, I'm still having trouble with the headwhip on the pivot turn.
01:12:44Yep. I noticed. You're turning your head too slowly. It's supposed to end the sequence. All right, let's do it.
01:12:49Hey.
01:12:56Right. I have someone I need to see right now. Elsewhere.
01:13:07What's going on?
01:13:09Do you have something to tell me?
01:13:11No.
01:13:12You snooped on my computer. You just had to know, didn't you?
01:13:15Okay. Yes, but...
01:13:17I told you the list wasn't your business, but you looked anyway.
01:13:21Kasey.
01:13:21No, you invaded my privacy.
01:13:24Okay, you're right. And I'm sorry, but I thought that if I could just get to know you that little bit more...
01:13:31But I didn't want you to know.
01:13:32Kasey.
01:13:33All it said was that you wanted to find love. I don't understand why that's such a bad thing.
01:13:37It's not bad. It's embarrassing. It's been the third thing on my list for years, and it's never happened.
01:13:44You know, I actually started to believe that all this swirling around us really was magic.
01:13:50And I thought after we did the first two things on my list that I thought maybe this was the year that I finally found wishing for love can't make it real.
01:14:03Kasey, come on. We can talk this through.
01:14:06The only thing through is us.
01:14:09Goodbye, Henry.
01:14:11Kasey, come on.
01:14:14Kasey.
01:14:15Do you have a vendetta against computers?
01:14:37Just making a few final tweaks to my presentation.
01:14:40Okay.
01:14:41So are you ready for dance tomorrow?
01:14:45You want to talk about it?
01:15:14Hey!
01:15:15Hey!
01:15:20Uncle Henry!
01:15:22Kasey had that exact face this morning.
01:15:25What happened? Did you guys have a fight?
01:15:30What did you do?
01:15:37Yes. I... I would be upset about that too, if I'm being honest.
01:15:41Right? Snooping on my computer?
01:15:44I can't believe he did that.
01:15:46But, pulling him into your wish list and then refusing to tell him the last one?
01:15:52That's old, closed-off Kasey kind of stuff that you used to do in every relationship.
01:15:56I would probably snoop too.
01:15:59You're taking his side?
01:16:01There are no sides. Why does there have to be sides?
01:16:03All I see are two strong, independent people trying to navigate a relationship.
01:16:09And sometimes, getting it wrong.
01:16:19Kasey, I love you.
01:16:21You're my best friend, and it has been so nice to see the person that does everything for everyone else finally make some time for herself.
01:16:31Before you walk away from all of this, I really want you to ask yourself, is that what you want?
01:16:46I don't know.
01:16:52But I do know that I have to finish my presentation.
01:16:55Okay, do you want any help?
01:17:00No.
01:17:00I got it.
01:17:04That's what I thought.
01:17:25And that's it. It's over.
01:17:32Why is it over?
01:17:33Because she never wants to see me again.
01:17:38What?
01:17:39You messed up, and you had a fight. That's all. People fight.
01:17:42And then the person who did wrong in this case, very much you, apologizes and promises to do better next time.
01:17:47You don't take your ball and go home the first time there's a problem.
01:17:50What she said.
01:17:53Look, what matters is that Kasey changed everything the day she came into your life.
01:17:57Wish one, you dance now. Never did that before.
01:18:00Wish two, you did stand up. And don't forget, she saved your bacon on that stage.
01:18:04And wish three, like it or not, Uncle Hannah, you fell in love.
01:18:07And when you're in love, you don't do anything to risk losing that.
01:18:10So go make this right.
01:18:11But I don't know how to do that without putting myself way, way out there.
01:18:16Then put yourself way, way out there.
01:18:18Again, what she said.
01:18:27That experience led me to consider this paradigm shift in the way we approach recruiting.
01:18:36I understand that this is a different way of thinking, but this new philosophy will help our
01:18:42clients find out what they actually want instead of just helping them find the next job.
01:18:48I'm sorry to interrupt. I won't take much of your time, but Kasey,
01:19:03I need your help.
01:19:08Henry.
01:19:08I messed up. I overstepped.
01:19:11And I am so sorry.
01:19:14But I know deep in my heart that your third wish has already come true,
01:19:20because I have fallen so deeply for you.
01:19:26I love you, Kasey Carter.
01:19:30I love you too.
01:19:32And if you'll give me the honor of dancing with me tonight,
01:19:35I promise to make all your dreams come true for ever and ever and ever.
01:19:40We would be on the air in an hour.
01:19:51Jess, will you wrap things up for me?
01:19:53Yeah, obviously.
01:19:54Let's go.
01:19:56Yeah?
01:19:56Let's go.
01:19:57Okay.
01:20:05Well, now that I'm in charge, let's see a show of hands of who wants to wrap this meeting up
01:20:09so we can see Henry and Kasey dance on live television.
01:20:14Oh, come on. You know you want to.
01:20:16Yes, great. Meeting adjourned. Somebody go get popcorn.
01:20:26Wow, just gorgeous. A couple number trees.
01:20:38Um, so unfortunately, it looks like we have a-
01:20:41Wait, wait, wait, wait. We're sorry we're late.
01:20:42We're sorry we're late.
01:20:43Never mind. Here they are.
01:20:47Life on a farm.
01:20:48But we're here now and ready to tango, Spencer.
01:20:53I've never seen him do that face before.
01:20:55Alrighty then, let's, uh, let's see what you got.
01:21:01I'm about to make all your wishes come true.
01:21:06You already have.
01:21:16let's go.
01:21:16Oh, oh.
01:21:27Oh, oh.
01:21:29Oh.
01:21:31Oh, oh, oh.
01:21:37Oh, oh, oh.
01:21:39Oh, oh.
01:21:41Yes!
01:22:04Better, Michael!
01:22:11So, what's next for Miss Carter?
01:22:18I'm going to start my own business, where I can implement all of my own ideas.
01:22:23I like it.
01:22:24Which means I'll be able to spend more time out here.
01:22:28I've realized I just want to spend time with the things I love.
01:22:35Wishful Meadows and being with you.
01:22:41Well, that's great.
01:22:43Because this farm and this farmer love you right back.
01:23:01You know, now that I've done all the things on my birthday list,
01:23:07I have to figure out what to wish for next year.
01:23:11Sometimes, all it takes is a chance meeting with the right person at the right time
01:23:25for magic to truly happen.
01:23:27All about it.
01:23:30I miss you very much for this
01:23:36I do so.
01:23:37I feel so shy and I smile.
