00:00All right, all right, all right. How's everyone doing? Hope you're all doing well. I am doing well, thanks for asking. And I will be playing some Madden NFL 06.
00:15So let's go ahead and get this party started.
00:19Some drinks with me. I have some lemon flavored water from Kroger.
00:30I have some mixed berry flavored water from Kroger. We lose the kickoff there.
00:41And I have some mixed berry powered zero as well. It's a drink.
00:51Because I tend to get thirsty when I'm talking.
00:54It's going to be a divisional away game against the Carolina Panthers.
01:00So, it should be a good kick.
01:08So, by formation, Nickel Strong, FS Snake Blitz, actually.
01:26Be the play cold.
01:28Oh, Jake Delholm is the quarterback. This is for the 2005 season, which, if I remember correctly, he led the Carolina Panthers to a Super Bowl appearance.
01:44They ultimately lost to Tom Brady and the Patriots, but, you know, he was a very good quarterback because he went undrafted, I think, sometime in the 90s.
01:59And, you know, he played for quite a while in the NFL.
02:04And it's going to be out of bounds if he caught that, but that's not going to be a completion.
02:13So, you know, he, to go from an undrafted QB to starting in the Super Bowl is a tough, tough, tough journey.
02:27And, you know, he was able to do it.
02:28I know only Kurt Warner is the only one, only undrafted quarterback to win a Super Bowl, but, you know, he isn't the only one to play in the Super Bowl.
02:36So, you know, even though he lost in the Super Bowl, you know, Jake Delholm still had a successful career.
02:46Just...
02:46To lead your team to a Super Bowl appearance is difficult.
02:50To even make a team, let alone play in the NFL, to play one game at any position is difficult.
02:59So the fact that not only he did that, but he led his team to a Super Bowl is impressive, I think.
03:06So...
03:07So...
03:10Not many people can say that.
03:25So...
03:36Donovan McNabb played in the Super Bowl.
03:43He played with the Eagles and lost to Tom Brady at the end of the 2004 season.
03:53Meyer with the catch.
03:56That's good.
03:57This was the first Madden NFL game I got.
04:03Ever.
04:04And it was on the PS2.
04:10I am now playing on...
04:13Playing this on the 360, though.
04:15I saw the PS2 and Madden NFL 6, uh...
04:27A long time ago.
04:35I...
04:45I'll pull back one option.
04:59Must admit, the Carolina Panthers do have the coolest looking uniform in the NFL, in my opinion.
05:06One of the coolest, if not the coolest.
05:08That's going to be a touchback.
05:30I think anything involving blue usually tends to look cool.
05:34Especially if it's light blue.
05:38In the uniforms, at least.
05:40Let's see.
05:58Baltimore's uniform looks pretty cool.
06:00I think they're the only team that regularly uses purple, their home jerseys, and charges as well.
06:08Not so much the Rams or Patriots.
06:10I know they...
06:11At one point, I think he's blue, so...
06:22I didn't really like the Patriots uniform or the...
06:27Rams uniform.
06:33Though their logo actually looked pretty cool when they were in St. Louis.
06:38I mean, in Los Angeles, their logo's pretty cool, but...
06:41I mean, in Los Angeles, their logo's pretty cool, but...
06:43It was, like, a different shade.
06:46It looked a bit different in...
06:49Ah, shoot.
06:51Eight yards, so...
06:54Let's see.
06:56What uniforms do I like?
06:57I'm not a big fan of the color red.
07:03So, I don't really like the Cardinals or jerseys.
07:09The Eagles jerseys look pretty cool.
07:10I like their, you know, regardless of the shade...
07:12The shades of green they used were pretty cool, I think.
07:14They used on the one.
07:15I'm not sure.
07:16Seattle's dark blue is good, but the blue...
07:29It wouldn't look like...
07:30The England, I think, uses the same shade of blue, but it...
07:33It doesn't go well with red, whereas, you know, the Seattle Seahawks...
07:37Blue and green jerseys look pretty cool.
07:41They like the Bengals uniform.
08:00I know it's orange and black, so...
08:02That was pretty cool to see.
08:11I know the Colts and the Browns uniforms.
08:26I go back and forth on hating and liking.
08:35Same with Pittsburgh.
08:41I love those uniforms.
08:42I like the U.S. uniform.
08:43And I'll be going in the NFL.
08:45The big one, the big one...
08:46In the NBA, the Hornets, the Charlotte Hornets have the best...
08:48Uniform, I think.
08:49I liked their...
08:50I don't know why, but it's just...
08:54The colors and the, you know, the...
08:55Little lines for their home.
08:56I think it's their home.
08:58I really liked the...
09:00Charlotte Hornets...
09:02Uniform, I think.
09:03I really like the...
09:05Charlotte Hornets...
09:07Uniform.
09:08uniform.
09:19Major League Baseball.
09:24Mariners, at one point, I liked their uniforms.
09:34Still do, to an extent.
09:35I don't know if it's like now the alternate, you know,
09:37the blue jerseys I like.
09:40She's really worried because I'm a fan of their
09:41division rivals, uh, the Angels.
09:53Still hitch corners.
09:54Conwell, with the, uh, reception is pretty good.
10:11Okay, y'all, I like the Kraken uniforms, and I like the, uh,
10:21I like the, uh, shoot, Utah Hockey Club.
10:29It's third and eight, so let's pass, actually.
10:43That's a fumble?
11:00No way that's a fumble.
11:02No way, I wish we could challenge that.
11:15I mean, it's more about the field position, because that was third down,
11:18which means we would have, we would have had to punt it.
11:20actually after this, but...
11:26You know, they wouldn't be at our, they wouldn't be on the 39-yard line,
11:31our 39-yard line, so...
11:33you know, we'd have to cut it.
11:34We'd have to cut it.
11:35And then let's cut it.
11:36We'd have to cut it.
11:37And then let's cut it.
11:38And we'll cover three.
11:39And then let's cut it.
11:40Cover three.
11:41Cover three.
11:42Cover three.
11:59There we go.
12:00And we're going to cut it.
12:01so far so good so yeah madden nfl 06 was the very first madden i got
12:14actually this game the madden nfl series helped teach me american football because
12:20i'm an immigrant both my parents are immigrants and you know the countries they grew up in at
12:27the time you know american football is not popular it still isn't popular in the countries
12:33they come from uh so they didn't really know american football or understand the sport so
12:42it was really this game that really helped teach me the sport and i watched some of it on tv and
12:49sports center and you know many sports center and you know played the game that eventually
12:58you know it's a game that really sparked my interest in american football so
13:02three yard kick
13:06we're a left-footed nfl kicker
13:11anyway that game uh starting with madden nfl 06 really helped teach me
13:18you know the sport of american football
13:26play in like the seventh grade which like in 2007 is when i entered the seventh grade so
13:39that also helped
13:41play in the sixth grade you know with the uh learning about the sport
13:50um
13:51you
13:52you
14:01I'm going to go for it on fourth end though this time, clear deep.
14:22Incomplete pass, so that's not going to haunt us, probably.
14:30Yeah, as I mentioned, this was the first game, Madden game I got, so.
14:44Very fun in my opinion.
14:48Alright, Lemon Kroger, or Lemon Kroger, I don't know why I said Lime, it's no Lime
14:59in this, not the biggest fan of lemon flavored drinks, but I do admit that I do like Kroger's
15:10lemon flavored water.
15:17So, what to talk about.
15:38Nearly intercepted, but thankfully the Panthers wide receiver did not catch the ball.
15:49It's going to be a good kick, it's going to be made.
16:06Roughing the kicker as well, so.
16:10I mean, it's still going to, it still would have been fourth down, so there's no point
16:15in, you know, they'd have to redo the kick, there's no point in declining it, so.
16:21Clear outs.
16:34Well, it's the second, oh yeah, we're doing 15 minute quarters, or five minute quarters,
16:42just for this game.
16:46It will probably be my only game of the live stream.
16:53It was a few, like a year or two before New Orleans got Drew Brees from San Diego.
17:09The Chargers actually.
17:14You know, it didn't pan out at first with the Chargers, but he really found, he really
17:29found a good team in, he really found it in New Orleans.
17:37So I guess in San Diego he wasn't really a good fit with the playbook and the coaching
17:46staff, I guess.
17:52But he was able to win a Super Bowl with New Orleans, and you know, he still to this
17:59day has more, more Super Bowl wins than San Diego, than actually the Chargers do, regardless
18:06of where they're located.
18:07Because now the Chargers are now located in Los Angeles.
18:14So, it tells me that the issue wasn't with Drew Brees, but rather the coaching staff at
18:25the time in San Diego didn't really know how to properly use Drew Brees and how to properly
18:40use him to the best of their abilities.
18:45to the best of his abilities as well.
18:52We're sacked there.
18:56Because if you are a team that has not won a Super Bowl, and you have a quarterback with
19:04you, and you think he's struggling, but he, so you trade him essentially.
19:14And he wins a Super Bowl before he retires, and you and your team have not won a Super Bowl
19:25still.
19:27That tells me that you may not, you know, been thinking that, oh, he, you may not have been
19:36using him to the best of his abilities as a coach.
19:45Horn as receiver caught that, so.
19:51It's going to be fourth and goal.
19:52Let's go ahead and kick the field goal.
20:06Well, what do I know?
20:19What do I know?
20:20I've never coached.
20:21So.
20:22I don't know.
20:25I think as a coach, you're supposed to like, with the roster you have, and you assemble,
20:31you're supposed to actually use the players you have to the best of your ability.
20:34You need to make, if, you know, you know, for some reason, you know, they aren't doing
20:41well, then you need to make adjustments.
20:43But of course, you know, if the players aren't really trying, well, then there's only so much
20:54you can do as a coach with them before you have to let them go.
21:00But if, you know, Drew Brees didn't play as long as he did not trying, so.
21:08I don't know.
21:09I guess, you know, wasn't really, you know, a knowledgeable NFL fan back then.
21:16So maybe those of you that are watching can educate me on why Drew Brees, you know, seemed
21:25to have struggled with the Chargers and went on to succeed with the Saints.
21:37I know Sean Payne is a good coach, must have been a good coach to help his team.
21:43So, you know, players can only, you know, yes, the players play the game, but they need the coaches
21:53to help run the plays and tell them what to do, so.
21:59The coaches do their part and help making sure the team wins, so.
22:06All right.
22:07I'm going to go for a long ball right off the bat at the beginning of the second half.
22:20I wanted to go for a longbow right off the bat at the beginning of the second half.
22:41Ah, shoot, we were incomplete there.
22:58I didn't really start that drive off strong, to be honest.
23:05Again, it would kind of be hard to throw a football in the middle of a thunderstorm or a rain.
23:12It would definitely rain, actually.
23:18I'm not going to fault any QB for throwing in bad weather.
23:28I've tried to, I've, you know, when I played in the seventh grade, I wore gloves during the winter seasons.
23:35And, not the winter seasons, I mean the winter part of the season.
23:41And, you know, I couldn't throw properly.
23:48I didn't play quarterback, but, you know, when I was, you know, before and after practice, just tossing the football with some friends, you know, that I had on the team.
24:00And, you know, without the gloves, I could throw decent, you know, in pads.
24:15Okay with pads, but, you know, with gloves I struggled.
24:21I don't know why, but, you know.
24:34I feel like the gloves do something to your grip.
24:37That make it hard for you to grip and throw, so.
24:43I remember that year, in summer, it was really hot.
24:49And then I actually originally got the gloves because, you know, I was playing offensive line or defensive line.
24:56And someone, one of my teammates in practice kind of injured my hand.
25:02So I got some gloves to actually protect my hand.
25:06So that's why I started wearing gloves.
25:10But the good thing is that when it got to, that was during practice during summer, during winter, towards the end of the year, it got really cold.
25:22I remember it raining one game and just in the middle of one game.
25:25And I was so glad I had gloves because I actually was probably the only one on my team.
25:33I remember sharing my gloves throughout the team that year and during that game, actually.
25:39But I was glad that I had the gloves to keep my hands warm, to help me block.
25:46Because, like, if you're, you know, say, you know, you just, if you're a kicker, you really don't need to use the hands because you're just kicking.
25:58And punters really, yeah.
26:02Because, like, it was so cold, like, I could feel my hands going numb.
26:05Just remember that, so.
26:07Oh, shoot, we were intercepted.
26:12Well, I know, like, wide receiver and running back, you know, they help, you know, using gloves can help you catch the ball.
26:25But in terms of throwing the ball, the quarterback could struggle.
26:29So, the linemen, you know, you need your hands to block.
26:41There's a defensive lineman, you kind of, you know, need them to help get past the offensive linemen to tackle.
26:48So, my hands start to get a bit cold and start going numb, you know, that's in the cold, you know.
27:04It's kind of bad.
27:17So, I can't imagine, you know, it was snowing that day.
27:20It was really raining, but it wasn't snowing.
27:22So, I can't imagine, you know, like, I remember in the mid-2000s, early 2000s, actually, the New England Patriots,
27:32with Tom Brady as their quarterback, played against the Raiders in snow.
27:38A controversial tuck rule game, if I remember.
27:42And, you know, I don't know how they can play in snow.
27:47I don't know how anyone can play in snow, so.
27:52Places like Seattle, you know, New England, they, I think they have an outdoor, July Stadium's outdoor, so.
28:07I could be wrong, but.
28:09Personally, if I was, you know, an NFL team owner and I had my team in the north where it snowed, I would build an indoor, I would build like a stadium with a roof over it.
28:22Kind of like, you know, Lucas Oil Stadium where the Colts play in Indiana, where I'd imagine it wouldn't get as cold as, say, Foxborough, Massachusetts, but I'd imagine it'd still snow.
28:39So, yeah, I'd imagine it'd still snow in Indiana.
28:51Seattle, I'd imagine it'd rain a lot, so that'd be a good place, you know, Foxborough, Massachusetts, East Rutherford, New Jersey, where the Jackson Giants play.
29:02That'd be a good idea to build a stadium that has a roof over it, you know.
29:11Where I live, it doesn't really snow that much.
29:16Maybe it snows like once or twice a year.
29:17Don't get me wrong, as a kid, I loved snow days because it meant that no schools, I could just stay home and watch TV and play games.
29:34I did not miss going to school, but...
29:37At the same time, you know...
29:45Now as an adult, you know, at least...
29:52Other than when I worked as a lab specimen processor, you know...
29:57I was in school, it didn't really...
30:00I really loved snow days because it meant I didn't go to...
30:03Didn't really...
30:05Have to go to class.
30:07It's like an extra day off, or...
30:11You know, to study, do homework.
30:17Um...
30:18More time to do homework or study if I was struggling.
30:20But also to watch TV and play games.
30:23Which I enjoyed.
30:26And when I was a lab specimen processor, I actually...
30:30You know...
30:31I enjoyed my...
30:33I enjoyed doing it.
30:35But, you know...
30:37At the same time, I didn't mind...
30:40Staying home.
30:41Because it also meant, you know, the only downside about that was...
30:48I didn't get paid.
30:50Because I couldn't go to work.
30:52I don't think it snowed...
30:57Like, while I was working.
30:58But, you know, there was bad weather where they had to...
31:02Where we couldn't come in one day.
31:03So...
31:04Where we had to get out early.
31:11I will be starting a job, actually, on Monday, the 28th.
31:15Working at a...
31:17Call center.
31:18Call center.
31:29Off my mic in my face cam now.
31:30...
31:31Chet.
31:33High just...
31:35Go.
31:36Screams in.
31:38Hip.
31:40Hip.
31:41Hip.
31:42What's the matter on this?
31:44What's the matter on this?
31:46You don't get games any better than this.
31:50With only one score separating these teams as we head to the final quarter.
31:54With the score, New Orleans 13, Carolina 9.
31:58Come on, defense!
32:00They come out of their base 4-3.
32:02It'll be Davis.
32:06Busted out into the open field.
32:08He's finally brought down at the 20.
32:26Single back formation.
32:28Regular, regular.
32:34That's it.
32:36It'll be stopped at the 23-yard line.
32:44There you go!
32:52Nickelback is in on this one.
32:54Regular, regular.
32:56388.
32:58It'll be Davis.
33:00Darren Howard is there on the stop.
33:02I got to play.
33:16The offense has had thrown over the distance.
33:18I'm third down in this one.
33:20DeLong wants to pass.
33:22DeLong throws underneath.
33:24Caught, bleep me grab!
33:26That's a
33:47clean come out of the 23.
33:49What is that?
33:50Woo?
33:51That makes us tooencryptly.
33:53Baker is in for the block.
34:07This one works out above.
34:23See ya!
34:28Alright, let's get the floor!
34:30Foreman defensive front this time.
34:35Takes him down.
34:37Let's go, Dean.
34:39What's up? Come on, come on, come on!
34:43Look down the backfield.
34:45Green 88!
34:49Keep on the work.
34:53Hey, Ray!
34:55Stay both left!
34:57What's up, Ray?
34:59You going through the suit?
35:01Yep.
35:03Get up here, get up here, get up here!
35:07Get up here, get up here!
35:09Get up here, get up here!
35:11We got it, we got it, we got it!
35:13Let's go, man, get back!
35:15Let's go, man, get back!
35:17Don't worry, Ray!
35:19White Booker!
35:21He's touching!
35:23You didn't even miss out these boys!
35:25Let's go, man, get up here!
35:27Let's go, man!
35:29Let's go, man!
35:31Let's go, man!
35:33Let's go, dude!
35:35Let's go!
35:37Let's go!
35:39Let's go, man!
35:41Let's go!
35:43Let's go, man!
35:45Let's go, dude!
35:47Go, man!
35:49Come, man!
35:51You got the move, man!
35:53We want the chance to play, man!
35:55The other world!
35:57Let's go!
35:59They give it to Deuce.
36:03Can't bring him down.
36:07Thomas Favre takes it down.
36:21Back to back.
36:25Now he's going to run.
36:26Find some room.
36:29They'll take him down at the 41-yard line.
36:38Four-man defensive front this time.
36:42Forehead comes up to make the play.
36:46Defense lines up to four-man front.
36:48They go with the run.
