00:20She just stopped breathing.
00:22Dead in her own bed. Can you imagine the parents finding her?

00:48At the beginning of the movie, the camera pans back from an outside view through a window.
00:53In this film, the camera represents the point of view of a spirit, and the spirit is roaming through an empty house.
00:59It moves back to the room where it started and stops behind a wardrobe door.
01:05Later, the spirit looks out the window and sees a woman arriving, hurrying toward the house.
01:10The spirit then rushes downstairs as the woman enters.
01:13She runs inside, quickly fixes her appearance, and then rushes to the entrance to welcome a family who are there to view the house.
01:20Chloe begins exploring, and the agent informs her that the mirror she is looking at is 100 years old.
01:26Meanwhile, the spirit moves toward Chris and Rebecca, revealing that Rebecca loves her son more than her daughter.
01:33Chris asks if moving into a new house so soon is the right decision for Chloe, considering she just lost her friend, Nadia.
01:40Despite this, Rebecca tells the agent that they are buying the house.
01:44Chris tells Chloe to explore, so she goes upstairs and enters a room.
01:48The spirit follows her.
01:49Chloe looks out of the window, and the spirit moves behind the wardrobe door.

02:20Later that night, she tells Tyler that everything she has done has been for him.

03:06Meanwhile, the spirit moves near a photograph of Chloe and Nadia.
03:10It then starts closing the books and stationery scattered on the bed and neatly places them on the table.
03:16It picks up another book and places it on the study table as well.
03:20When Chloe comes out, she sees the arranged books and gets frightened.
03:24Confused, she suddenly hears her dad enter the room.
03:27He asks if she's okay, but she brushes it off and he leaves.
03:31She then looks around, sensing the presence and the scene cuts to black.
03:34Later, the spirit moves toward the kitchen, where Rebecca and Chris are discussing Chloe's trauma.
03:40Chris suggests doing a drug test on Chloe since she knows the same people Nadia did.
03:45Rebecca disagrees, saying that Nadia had been smoking pot since she was 11, but Chloe isn't like her and wouldn't do drugs.
03:52Chris reminds her that two kids have died in two months, both found dead in their own beds, having just stopped breathing.
03:59Now, Chloe has withdrawn completely.
04:01Rebecca asks, do you want to try different medication for her or a different therapist?

04:38She quickly acts unaware and pretends to study on her bed.
04:41Tyler then introduces Ryan to Chloe, and they both head to Tyler's room.
04:45Meanwhile, the spirit is seen slowly closing Chloe's room door.
04:49Later that night, Rebecca tells Chris that Tyler won a swimming competition.
04:54Chris responds by telling her that he found a new therapist for Chloe that day.
04:58Rebecca counters, saying that what Chloe needs is time.
05:02Chris then taunts her, two kids, you have two kids, before leaving the room.
05:07He then receives a call from Howard and tells him that a friend came to him with a legal issue that is over his head.

05:21The next morning, the spirit is roaming around the house and approaches Chloe's photograph.
05:26Just then, Chloe and Ryan enter the house.
05:29Chloe offers him a drink, but he declines.
05:31He tells her that her brother Tyler is unkind.
05:34Chloe asks, how?
05:36Ryan explains that Tyler planned a harsh prank on a girl named Simone.
05:40Chloe asks, why Simone?
05:42Did she do something?
05:43Ryan shrugs, and they both head to Chloe's room.
05:46Later, we see them both intoxicated.
05:49Ryan notices a picture of Nadia with Chloe and asks, you know her?
05:53Chloe replies, she was my best friend.
05:56Ryan shares that he met her once at a party.
05:58He then asks, I've never had anyone die.

06:02Chloe answers, it's scary.
06:04It's like the world cracks apart, and you fall into this hole, and the sides are mud.
06:09You can't get out, and you wonder where they are.
06:12You wonder what it would be like if you were there too.
06:14Like you want to be in the room with them when it happens.
06:17Not to stop it, but to go too.
06:19I think I did, maybe.
06:20Or she stayed, or wants to come back.
06:23Suddenly, she says, I think she's here.
06:25Ryan gets scared.
06:27Chloe says nothing, kisses Ryan, and says, sorry.
06:30They kiss again, and Chloe starts crying.
06:33Ryan reassures her, saying, this is going to go exactly how you want it to.
06:37He then shares my whole life.
06:39Everybody else makes decisions for me.
06:41I've never been in charge of my own life.
06:43I carried a razor blade in my glove for six months.
06:46I am nothing.
06:48But with us, this is you.
06:50They then strats kissing, and starts getting intimate.
06:53Just then, Chloe's wardrobe breaks, and all the items fall.
06:56They both get scared.
06:58Suddenly, Chloe feels a breeze and gets frightened, saying, maybe it's the weed.
07:03Later that night, the spirit moves downstairs to the dining table, where Chloe shares that
07:08she feels a presence in the house.
07:10She says she sensed it, and then things started moving.
07:14Tyler gets irritated and tells her to stop.
07:16Chloe yells, I hate you, and they start fighting.
07:19Chris yells for them to stop, and Tyler gets up and leaves the room.
07:23Later, Tyler apologizes to his dad for his behavior.
07:26His dad tells him, you should apologize to your sister.
07:29Tyler responds, I did, but she told me to get out of her room.
07:33Chris replies, she's been through a lot, Tyler.
07:36Tyler responds, she's just a freak, taking drugs.
07:39Chris counters, she knew both the girls who died.
07:42Tyler insists, I'm telling you, she's taking drugs.
07:45It's not her dead friend.
07:47Chris says, there's an excellent man inside of you, Tyler.
07:50I would love to see him soon, before leaving the room.
07:53Later that night, Tyler is telling his mother how he and his friends pranked Simone.
07:58And somehow, Simone ended up sending her picture.
08:01Chris asks, your friend didn't keep the picture, did he?
08:04Tyler replies, probably not, and continues telling his mother the story.
08:08Suddenly, Chloe asks, what's that sound?
08:10But no one pays attention to her.
08:12After a while, Chloe reveals Simone's picture and asks, how did it turn out?
08:17In a fit of anger, the spirit moves upstairs to Tyler's room, causing all of his belongings to fall.
08:23The whole family watches, and Chloe says, it's her, Nadia.
08:27The family moves out of the house in panic.
08:29Chloe says, I tried to tell you.
08:31Tyler mocks her, and Chris yells at Tyler, it wouldn't kill you to stand up for your sister for once.
08:36Rebecca asks, what do we do now?
08:39How can we just walk back into our house?
08:41Chloe responds, she doesn't mean any harm.
08:44Chris asks, who?
08:46Chloe replies, we all know who.
08:48Rebecca asks, how do you know?
08:50Chloe says, I just do.
08:52The same way I can kind of look into her.
08:54Chris asks, and what do you see?
08:56Chloe responds, I feel her.
08:58It usually happens when I'm alone, and this is the first time it's happened with people.
09:02She doesn't want to hurt anyone.
09:04I think she wants to help.
09:06Rebecca says, we can't live here.
09:08Chloe retorts, leave if you want, but I'm not going anywhere.
09:11We then see Chris on a call.
09:13He then informs the family that the agent, Cece, says there have never been any reports of incidents like this at the house before, he adds.
09:21But her sister-in-law senses things.
09:23She's a regular woman with a regular job, but she has the ability of second sight.
09:27She'll visit our house tomorrow.
09:29The next day, as the woman arrives, the spirit rushes to look out from the window.
09:33The moment she steps inside, she senses the presence.
09:36Chris introduces his family to Lisa and her husband, Carl.
09:40Lisa enters the house and sits on the sofa.
09:43She looks at the camera, then turns to Chris and says, you're fooling yourself.
09:47She then gets up and moves toward the mirror.
09:50She says, it's suffering, just like you are, Chloe.
09:53She asks, you lost your friend?
09:55Chris whispers to Rebecca, I didn't tell her that.
09:58Lisa then asks for the friend's name.
10:00She continues, I'm very sorry for your pain.
10:03Nadia's death brought you more than just grief.
10:06You're sensitive in ways others are not.
10:09There's a presence here, and it feels connected to you, Chloe asks.
10:13Is it Nadia?
10:14Lisa sighs.
10:15It's confusing.
10:16It doesn't know why it's here.
10:18Something happened to it, probably in this house.
10:20It's trying to figure you out, trying to figure itself out, she explains.
10:25Time doesn't work the same way for it.
10:27The past and present can happen at the same time, so it doesn't even know when it is.
10:31There's something it needs to do, but it doesn't know what.
10:34Lisa then turns to the mirror and says, old mirrors are like old people.
10:39They've seen more.
10:40Suddenly, she feels the presence again, and Carl helps her sit down, offering her some water.
10:45Carl then pulls Chris aside and tells him that Lisa won't be able to work for a few days,
10:50due to the physical toll this takes on her.
10:53Realizing his point, Chris discreetly gives him money.
10:56Seeing this, Rebecca mutters, that woman is never coming to this house again.
11:00Just then, Chloe hears a sound.
11:02As she reaches out and touches the mirror, the sound abruptly stops.
11:06She then consoles her dad as the spirit goes upstairs to Chloe's room, standing inside her wardrobe.
11:12Later, as Chloe and Ryan get intimate, the spirit turns away.
11:16After a while, Ryan asks if she's thirsty, and she requests juice.
11:20He asks, when is your family coming back?
11:23She replies, not before evening.
11:25Chloe heads to the washroom, while Ryan brings the juice.
11:28He then takes something from his bag, and the spirit follows him.
11:32Ryan mixes it into Chloe's drink.
11:34But before Chloe can drink it, the table suddenly shakes, spilling the juice.
11:38Ryan quickly washes the glass, and tells Chloe he needs to see her again for longer.
11:43She responds that her parents will be away for a work trip for a week.
11:47Ryan asks, what about Tyler?
11:50Chloe replies, that's the only drag.
11:52Ryan says, I can deal with him.
11:54He then adds, I think I'm in love with you, and they start kissing.
11:57Meanwhile, the spirit quietly slips behind the wardrobe door.
12:01The next day, Chris is seen apologizing to Lisa, telling her they no longer need her help.
12:06Lisa replies, I just want you to know, I had a dream.
12:10The spirit is here because of something that hasn't happened yet.
12:14Something bad.
12:15Because of a window.
12:16A window that doesn't open.
12:17As Chris leaves, Lisa yells, I saw a window, then looks up at it.
12:21The scene cuts to Chloe sleeping.
12:23The spirit tries to wake her, but then retreats back into the wardrobe.
12:27The scene cuts to Rebecca and Chris, leaving the house.
12:30Chris says goodbye to Chloe and asks her to inform Tyler.
12:34Later that night, Tyler is seen drinking and blasting loud music.
12:38After a while, he senses a presence nearby.
12:41He looks at the camera and says, hello?
12:43Just then, his phone vibrates, and he goes to open the gate.
12:47Ryan joins him, and Tyler makes him a drink.
12:49Ryan heads to the kitchen to add juice to their drinks,
12:52secretly slipping something into Tyler's to make him sleep.
12:55He hands Tyler the drink, and they both sip.
12:58After a while, Tyler dozes off.
13:00Ryan switches off the music, takes something from his bag,
13:03prepares another glass of juice for Chloe, and spikes it as well.
13:07He heads to Chloe's room, with the spirit following him.
13:10Chloe asks, where's Tyler?
13:12Ryan replies, I told you, I took care of him.
13:15It's bedtime for him.
13:16Chloe frowns, I'm not okay with this.
13:19Hearing this, Ryan's mood shifts.
13:22Chloe quickly apologizes, saying, I just don't feel stable today.
13:25I just want to be alone.
13:27Ryan starts crying, I'm so alone.
13:30Can we just talk?
13:31He hands her the glass of juice.
13:33Chloe drinks it, and they lay down on the bed.
13:36Slowly, she starts feeling dizzy.
13:38Ryan says, I don't feel alone when I talk to you.
13:41You like when I say it's all you?
13:43That you're in control?
13:45Chloe murmurs, sure.
13:46Ryan leans in.
13:47I give that to you, because it's mine to give.
13:50He then drags her to the side.
13:52One second, someone is alive.
13:54And the next, they're not.
13:56He pulls out a roll of cling film from his pocket.
13:59You know how thin this is?

14:03Have you ever heard of something so crazy thin?

14:09The spirit desperately tries to intervene.
14:12Ryan whispers, do you want to feel what Nadia felt?
14:15He covers Chloe's mouth and nose with the plastic wrap.
14:18As she starts to suffocate, he briefly pulls it away, letting her gasp for air,
14:23before pressing it down again, taking control of her life.
14:27The spirit rushes downstairs to Tyler.
14:29The lights flicker as it moves toward him, trying to wake him up.
14:33It leans near his ear, and suddenly, Tyler jolts awake.
14:37Still groggy, he races upstairs to Chloe's room.
14:40Bursting in, Tyler shoves Ryan so hard that they crash through the window, falling to their deaths.
14:46Later, Chloe is seen packing the last item from her wardrobe in her now empty room,
14:51signaling that they are moving out.
14:53She walks downstairs and sees her mom before heading outside.
14:56Rebecca takes another minute to stay in the house.
14:59Suddenly, she hears a strange sound and recognizes the spirit's presence.
15:04She follows it into the living room.
15:06When she looks into the mirror, she sees her son, Tyler.
15:09She screams, it's him!
15:11Hearing her scream, Chris and Chloe rush inside.
15:14She cries, saying, he saved you.
15:16He came back to save you, realizing that the entire time, the presence was her own son.
15:22Then we see Tyler's spirit moves out of the house, now free, ascending into the sky and the movie ends here.
