00:00It's very clear that we know there are many challenges ahead of us, a lot of
00:08uncertainties, a lot of unknowns, especially on the global front. It is
00:12with this context and because of this context that we believe it is more
00:17important than ever to build a system that will get policies right because in
00:23this context there is far less margin for error. And to get it right, we need
00:29more perspectives, we need more voices to ensure that blind spots are not missed,
00:35mistakes are not made. And if we accept that no one has a monopoly on good ideas,
00:41which I think we all do, then maybe none of us should have a monopoly in Parliament.
00:48So that's why we're asking you to vote for the Workers' Party, to allow us to bring
00:52our brand of rational, constructive politics into Parliament and deliver for
00:58the Singaporean people every day. We'll be able to ask questions that PAP MPs
01:04will not ask and keep the PAP on their tippy toes, essentially. Let us be clear eyed.
01:10Come May 4th, the PAP will be government. And more than likely, they will have a super
01:16majority. And so this election really isn't about the PAP. It's about strengthening our
01:23parliamentary system to ensure we build one that delivers policies that will allow us to
01:31safeguard against the shocks and challenges that may come forward ahead of us.
