00:00Long before Simba's roar echoed across the Pride Lands, a young lion named Mufasa ran freely across the Golden Savannah.
00:07Born under a rare celestial event, the Night of a Thousand Stars, Mufasa was destined for greatness, though he didn't yet know it.
00:15Mufasa grew up with his younger brother, Taka, who would later be known as Scar.
00:20While Taka preferred the shadows, studying and plotting, Mufasa loved the open plains,
00:25where the sun warmed his golden fur and the winds carried the scent of adventure.
00:30One day, when Mufasa was just a young lion, a terrible drought struck the Pride Lands.
00:36Rivers dried up, grass withered, and the animals grew restless.
00:40The circle of life, which the lions protected, began to fall apart.
00:46Their father, King Ahadi, called a great meeting at Pride Rock.
00:49One of you, he said, looking at his sons, must journey to find the heart of the savannah,

01:00Both brothers volunteered, but only Mufasa was chosen, because of his courage and compassion.

01:17Along the way, he met wise friends, a playful cheetah who taught him speed,
01:21an old tortoise who shared the secret paths of the desert,
01:23and a soaring eagle who showed him the way from above.
01:28Facing sandstorms, prowling hyenas, and towering cliffs, Mufasa never gave up.
01:33His heart stayed true, remembering his family, his kingdom, and the circle of life.
01:37At last, beyond the burning desert, Mufasa found the heart of the savannah,
01:43a lush hidden valley with waterfalls sparkling like diamonds.
01:47Roaring with triumph, he called the reins back to the Pride Lands.
01:52When he returned, bringing hope and water with him, the animals bowed.
01:56King Ahadi placed a paw on Mufasa's head and declared,
01:59you will be a king greater than any before you.
02:03But in the shadows, Taka watched with bitterness growing in his heart,
02:07setting the stage for the future battles to come.
