00:00Middlesbrough captain Johnny Housen has maintained that he is staying positive about Borough's chances of getting in the playoffs.
00:07Yeah, we pushed forward at times, certainly towards the back end, you know, maybe got a few more bodies forward and left himself a bit open at times.
00:17But we obviously pushed for us and just wouldn't fall for us, you know.
00:21We had a few flashed across the box and we just wouldn't want to sit for a tap-in or something like that.
00:27Yeah, that's football and sometimes them games happen.
00:31And you just have to, you know, keep pushing forward.
00:34I think of the one of we when Neto had scored, flashed across the box, comes to him and on that day we get that, a nice finish.
00:44And we probably just didn't get that today, you know, for it to fall to someone.
00:47And just say that's football and that can happen, but we stay positive and see what happens.
00:53As I said, I know later on then, you maybe go a bit more open and push a few more bodies forward.
01:02And who's going to have that, you know, they've got some good players, some quick players and the motivators on the break.
01:08So yeah, everyone had a job to do, had a role to play.
01:11And Sunderland defender Chris Mepham has made clear that all of the Sunderland squad were very disappointed following their 2-0 away defeats at Oxford United at the weekend.
01:22And vowed that they will respond in the last game of the season and attack the playoffs in the right mindset.
01:28Yeah, we're extremely disappointed, as you can imagine.
01:34You know, there was a few heated words in the dressing room at half-time and full-time.
01:38And I think, you know, ultimately it shows how much people care.
01:42You know, the standards we've set ourselves this year have been really high and to fall short as much as we did today.
01:49Obviously disappointing from an individual point of view collectively.
01:53Yeah, nowhere near level, but, you know, we've got some massive games coming up now.
01:58And I think that's the most important thing for us.
02:00And, you know, we're not happy with the run we've been on.
02:04But as long as it's an opportunity to reflect and a learning curve for us, that's the most important thing.
02:10And hopefully we can give a really good account of ourselves going forward.
