00:00The main story that everyone's going about, which will be a small number of people,
00:03is someone having three jobs at three different councils,
00:05thinking they're all full-time, working from home and being all of them.
00:08I think that's very different to, you know, some of the stuff we talk about,
00:13you know, whether it's making money from playing a game on a mobile phone
00:17or doing surveys or making extra money by doing competitions and entering those.
00:23I mean, ultimately, though, people have to be careful.
00:25If you're paid to do a job of work and you're paid for hours
00:27or you're paid for productivity, then if you don't do that,
00:29you can expect to lose your job.
00:31And worse, if you have a contract that says you can't work for somebody else and do,
00:36then you can expect potentially to be sued if you don't do so.
00:38So people need to be careful.
00:40There's nothing wrong with side hustles.
00:41There's nothing wrong with boosting your income.
00:43But you need to understand what your contractual obligations are with your employer.
