00:19Ano ba? Nagagandahan ang ating mga bisita this morning.

00:24Simulan natin kay Coach Sherwin.

00:26So, Coach Sherwin, of course, besides sa ating na under 21 Water Polo Boys team, nag-compete ng ating under 24 women's team dito sa Malaysia Invitational Championship,

00:36how would you assess naman po yung naging performance po ng ating team, of course, against top Water Polo teams sa Southeast Asia?

00:42Maganda naman. For this group, that is the second time na nag-join siya ng competition.

00:49So, we just started less than a year in preparation for those, especially on the big competition like CH last year.

00:58Then, we pushed through this, itong invitational meets for Malaysia.

01:03It grow a lot to them because, even in a short time yung preparation, we see the development of the team.

01:13The team chemistry is already there.

01:17Then, yeah, yung passion, yung love for the sport.

01:21Starting to build up.

01:23Ayan.

01:24Coach, maidagdag ko lang, no?

01:26How did you form this team po for the Malaysian Tournament?

01:29We form this team through tryouts with the help of the private stakeholders, swing clubs, schools, and with the help of, of course,

01:42the RPI, Philippine Aquatics Inc., and the PSC, and it's a joint force of help of friends and parents through social medias.

01:52Ito, let's ask the players naman, teammate Meg, no?

01:56Kung baga, yung competition niya dito, how was the experience then?

02:00Kung baga, ano yung natutunan niyo during your competition dito sa Malaysia?

02:04And, kung baga, ano yung pakiramdam na nakalaban niyo mga top teams sa Southeast Asia?

02:09Let's start with, of course, Ashley.

02:10Well, sa amin po, it is very much fulfilling yung naging experience po namin since it is our second competition.

02:17And, kung baga, parang doon po namin nakita yung fire sa puso ng bawat players during that time.

02:23And, kung baga, parang na-feel din namin na we can really compete through tough players internationally.

02:31And, na-feel din namin na, kung baga, bago lang kami, pero we know may ibibigay kami in the future para sa Pilipinas.

02:40And, doon, follow-up ko na lang din kay Josie, bukod sa naging experience mo, ano yung pinaka natutunan mo during this competition?

02:48Alam na lamangit mo second competition of the team, bago pa lang kayo.

02:50And, then, kung baga, yung team chemistry, kumusta naman?

02:53And, paano kayo nakipag-compete sa mga best teams in Southeast Asia?

02:57So, during sa competition namin in Malaysia, it's actually a great experience sa amin.

03:02And, also, we were blessed kasi nakasali po kami sa pag-compete sa international and as well na maraming kaming natutunan despite na we fell short sa podium.

03:14But, at least, we did our best and nakita namin kung ano yung mga dapat namin i-improve pa.

03:20And, also, yun nga, sa mga individual skills and also pagdating sa defense and offense.

03:26And, ikaw naman, Razer, kumusta naman yung laging performance ninyo sa Malaysia?

03:30And, tingin mo, kung ikaw ang tatanungin, tingin mo ba, kahit hindi kayo nakapag-podium finish, sobrang grabing laban na yung pinakita nyo dun sa Malaysia?

03:38I think, yes, kasi we did all our best to fight.

03:42Especially, nakalaban namin yung Hong Kong team, which is played in Asian games already.

03:50And, I think that's their national team.

03:53So, it's really a big effort that we give playing against Hong Kong.

03:59And, great experience din siya na nakalaban namin yung Hong Kong team.

04:04So, parang kaming nag-Asian games since Hong Kong is like a really high level than us na bago lang.

04:11And, we only trained for like a month before we went to Malaysia.

04:14Ito, last but not least, kay Sabi tayo, no?

04:18Ito, Sabi, you're under 24.

04:21Itong team na to, for girls team.

04:23Pero, are you planning na i-person pa yung seniors team and then mag-compete din sa mga bigger competitions like SEA Games, Asian Games, and of course, Olympics?

04:30Ah, dahil ang water polo ay isang Olympics sport.

04:35Um, yung sa Malaysia po, ito sa, um, a great experience.

04:40Kasi, sabi nga ni Reisha na, we went against very high level teams.

04:45And, um, we really fought our best po talaga.

04:48And, the strongest of teams that we competed against were our best games because it really pushed the team to, um, pour our heart and soul talaga po into the competition.

04:59And, it just motivated all of us to work harder and to try our best po for the upcoming competitions.

05:07Martha, na pansin ko, meron tayong magkapatid here.

05:10Si Ashley and Joe, si Addison.

05:14And, like, una-una, curious ako, paano nyo, na, paano kayo napamahal sa water polo?

05:20Why the sport?

05:21And, does it help na magkapatid kayo, ah, in this team?

05:26Well, ah, una po, swimmers po talaga kami.

05:29And, we don't know anything about water polo since nung nag-try out po kami.

05:33And, kumbaga, parang, as sisters, okay naman po.

05:37Okay naman kaming dalawa.

05:38And, mas na-enjoy po namin dalawa.

05:40Mas nagiging bonding po namin siyang dalawa.

05:43And, I think, mas nagiging stronger yung pagka-sisters namin pong dalawa.

05:50And, also, kapag, during trainings, there are times na, parang, nag-away kami.

05:55Pero, mas nag, yun nga po, mas nag, na-ano yung bond namin together.

06:00And, mas na-enhance din namin yung relationship namin in terms na communication.

06:05And, I'm sure, source of motivation yun rin yung isa't isa.

06:10Kahit may konting awa, may konting misunderstanding.

06:14Mahirap mag-away sa swimming pool, no?

06:15Baka, baka kung ano mangyayari.

06:17Ito, tulungan naman tayo ulit kay Coach Sherwin.

06:20At, Coach Sherwin, yung women's team po natin, like the boys team,

06:23niya-develop pa po natin, niya-rebuild.

06:24What are your future plans po for our team, future competitions?

06:29And, of course, yung plans niya po to expand po yung ating water polo team.

06:33Na-mention po, katina, tabang nag-uusap po tayo na may mga,

06:37parating ba po tayo mga field foreign players?

06:39So, any details po regarding po that?

06:41Yeah, this time, for the future of the water polo,

06:45like sinabi ni Ma'am, it's very promising for the Philippine water polo.

06:50Same thing, we have to compose a new lineup.

06:56Hopefully, we can represent also for the upcoming SEA Games for the third time.

07:03The second time is just the 2019, so we won bronze.

07:06Then, hopefully, we won again these SEA Games.
