00:00Good evening, good afternoon, or good morning, depending on where you are in the world.
00:04We'd like to welcome all the people watching this on Facebook Live.
00:08What we're doing today is we're going to be running through at least one quest or more,
00:13depending on what I have for time, and we're going to be playing DDO.
00:17So we're going to be running through one quest,
00:19and let's start off with looking through our quest log.
00:23So we press L on a keyboard,
00:26and let's see.
00:32So we want to find something that's within our level range.
00:40Let's do the M.U. again.
00:43Let's go to House Jang.
00:46So I get on our horse to get there faster, of course.
00:51It's a horse, of course.
00:52And yeah, once we get on the ship, I'll do my daily dice as well.
01:13Let's get our daily dice going.

01:20Okay, that's something, though.
01:22Okay, you notice I have four, six here.
01:34Six slots, that should be enough for what we're doing here now.
01:38Based upon my challenge, I want to customize what I'm going to bring to the battle,
01:43so I'll probably use a different shield.
01:50And I'll probably use this one because I'll heighten awareness.
01:54Quick healing notification.

01:58Let's look at our stats.
02:0026 for strength is really good.
02:02So what I'm going to do is, when I need to be right before I jump, I'll swap over to Feather Falling.
02:09And then after that, I'll move back over to my rainbow ones.
02:14The ones I actually have on right now gives me plus three to strength.
02:20So it brings me from 23 to 26 strength.
02:23And as a fighter, that's one of your main stats.
02:25Two main stats is strength, some dexterity, but mainly strength and constitution.
02:32Similar stats as a barbarian, except barbarians usually, you really pile on the strength for the damage.
02:42Okay, so that's versus fighters, more survivability and, you know, fancy maneuvers type stuff.
02:50So let's go to House Jurasco.
02:52What we're going to do is, once we get to there, we're going to list that quest.
02:56Notice there's a yellow arrow, like a golden yellow.
03:00Well, that's the one we want to go for.

03:14And what I'm going to do is, I'm going to list it for, no, it's not this.

03:23If you have any of these, you can always check to see, because you can get potions and such where you don't have to pay for it,
03:30but you can just trade things for it.

03:35And what I'm going to do is, I'm going to list it.
03:40Now, one tip I suggest, right after, of course, right after you do this, is I suggest that you look for the people, if you're in a guild, look for the people who are in the guild or online and ask them if they'd like to join.
03:54Now, if you want to get XP, you can't have people that are more, I believe it's more than three or more than four above your particular level and also above the quest level.

04:08This is level 11 quest, so it's going to be 10, let's say to 13.
04:1213, so if they're within that level range, this one could be good.
04:18You want to give them something to encourage them to join.
04:23And then also you have Reaper.
04:28Reaper gives you more XP and it gives you Reaper points.
04:31What is that?
04:31So when you click on your ampersand on the bottom left-hand corner, Reaper enhancements.
04:35That is, when you're doing Reaper stuff, you have more, like, for example, Constitution, points of Constitution, which give you more health.
04:46Probably, unless you are the, if you're the, like, for example, Barbarian, I would be stacking melee power, probably.
04:56Unless of the saves, so melee power and a hero to have, like, a little bit less of the power and more of the other one.
05:02I think it's more of the physical resistance rating with Constitution, so it depends on how you build it.
05:12So let's check, press O on the keyboard, as we have it.
05:16Oh, it's listed 10 to 13.
05:18This overlaps with another person who's looking to do that.
05:23So let's see.
05:26Sometimes you can ask them if they would like to join your quest and then you'll do their quest.
05:31You can negotiate like that.

05:34Press O on your keyboard, go to Guild.
05:36Press last on.
05:38I'm going to show you who's online right now.
05:40You want to find somebody who can do this quest, so maybe I would ask this guy.

06:06The first thing they can tell me is no.
06:08Now, if it's whited out, that means it's already finished.
06:17If it's blue, that means it's been picking up but not finished.

06:24What you want to do is have your action bars set up here for your most common functions that you're going to be using.
06:36Second, I do recommend use a hireling.
06:39That's the main one you would want to use as a healer.
06:43Secondarily, you could use somebody who does more melee damage.
06:47And third one is specialty stuff like you can use like a rogue.
06:52Now, normally, you're not able to get that from the hireling vendors.
06:59But if you go to the store, you can actually get it.
07:04So if you want to finish your quest but there's nobody available that can do that, normally you don't specifically need that.
07:11So let's wait a moment for someone to join.
07:28Then we can take it from there.
07:41Now, what I might do is I might try, if I wait a few minutes and no one's available, what I'll do is I'll get a clear hireling and then I can smash in.
07:53I could actually get another hireling, couldn't I?
08:01Yeah, I could probably use another melee.
08:08That would be good.
08:09So you just click on the ampersand, go to the DDO store, wait for it to load.
08:19Then from here, what you do is you go get a hireling.
08:23So I'll actually do this and show you what you can use.
08:26Now, you can decide you want to use a rogue.
08:29What do you want to use?
08:31So what I recommend you guys do when you have the actual DDO points is get yourself one of those.
08:39Those DDO hardling folders.
08:44And what the hireling folder will do is you'll be able to store all your hirelings into the folder so that way you don't take up extra bag space for each slot in the back.
08:56So we have these hirelings.
09:00And it would be under specialist hirelings if you want rogue.
09:04So low level, it's difficult to get those.
09:07So that's bard and rogue.
09:11For your melee hirelings, you can see they're all here.
09:17And I have to go over.
09:22Okay, you have to scroll down.
09:24So you want to go according to your level.
09:26You can't use one that's higher level than you.
09:28So I can use fighter.
09:32If I want hirelings, I can get hireling ones.
09:37Casters also.
09:43Specialists.

09:48This will allow you to store a certain amount of hirelings without taking up extra bags of these.
09:55As far as specialist hirelings are concerned, you want to scroll down toward a particular level.

10:02And I only recommend getting these if you have a particular quest that pretty much requires you to do that, which I can't really think of any.
10:13Now, there are certain situations in which that getting treasure or something is behind, like the chest is locked or finding doors or something, whatever.
10:26But actually, if it was me, what I would do is I'd use my primary healer and another melee.
10:34So melee, I can use...

10:42I can either use...
10:43I wouldn't use another fighter if I'm playing a fighter.
10:47I can either use a sorcerer for mass damage.
10:49Or I can use a barbarian for mass physical damage.
10:53Or I can use, let's say, a paladin for buffs.
10:59Which will give me more of my health, which is another good option.
11:03So considering that I already have one right now, but I can't use two of the same...
11:07I mean, I can't use two hirelings at the same time.
11:12I can use one of these purchased hirelings from the store.
11:15So what I'll probably get is I'll probably get a barbarian.
11:18If you do mass amount of physical damage, you have a lot of health.
11:30So paladin level two, paladin level two.

13:14or you want him to do mass damage now the sorcerer is mainly known for that it's just
13:21like a damage machine but yeah they do lots of they have some versatility depending on

41:40like grease or you want to use
41:42so i don't need you can get rid of other stuff you don't need

42:14that gives me plus 10 to chop that's nice very situational

44:02because he doesn't heal very well apparently

44:39just keep following in keep healing yourself while you're on your way
44:43it has a cool down but it's a minimal cool down
