00:00Hello everyone! Eid is just around the corner, so today I'll be creating an Eid inspired henna
00:05design. As you can see, I've used a circular bottle cap to map out a half circle in the center,
00:11then using that as a guideline, I'll roughly draw some flowers and leaves in the shape of a crescent
00:17moon. This moon at the center symbolizes the beginning and end of Ramadan, as Muslims fast
00:23upon sighting this crescent moon and celebrate Eid'll further when it appears again.
00:27Next, I'll add a mosque to represent the importance of prayer, charity, and community during Eid.
00:36Over here, I'm going to go over the outline of the crescent moon again and add fillers inside
00:42of it to beautify this design even further. Now, I'm going to incorporate a lantern,
00:48which symbolizes the guiding light of Ramadan and is widely used to adorn homes during Eid celebrations.
00:56Henna holds great importance during Eid, as it's a tradition for women to gather and apply henna
01:01together on the night before Eid. At the end of the day, it is not about how pretty your design is,
01:06but the joy it brings to everyone involved in the henna experience. I'm going to end this design by
01:11connecting the moon to the middle finger and adding some flowers to the remaining fingers. And remember,
01:16the true beauty lies in the henna experience, so go ahead, spread happiness through your henna
01:21art and cherish the memories you create along the way. And there you have it! I hope you enjoyed
01:27this tutorial and Eid Mubarak everyone!
