00:00Hi, I'm Chris Beerton, Head of Planning and Enabling at Homes England.
00:04We're here today in Crawley to present our final plans for a new neighbourhood west of Ifield.
00:11This follows six years of engagement with the community, listening to key concerns,
00:18and hopefully today the community have been able to come along and see how we've responded to those.
00:22Housing is a key issue facing the area, and we want to bring forward this scheme as quickly as possible
00:27to ensure that everyone has access to a good quality home.
00:32Beyond today, we'll be looking to submit an application later part of this year
00:37and look forward to continuing to work with the community and other stakeholders as part of that process.
