00:00Members, you may have already seen this on social media, but the mayor and myself received an email from the BT group just around 12 o'clock with the very sad news, very tragic news that they're potentially closing the building, the offices across the Victoria market.
00:19So there's a long email which will send out to members, but obviously it's potentially affecting up to 140 people across two teams.
00:31The building, they propose retaining for now as it houses quite a bit of equipment.
00:40They go into the detail of the nature of the jobs, the proposed relocation opportunities.
00:46But it seems like a fairly definitive email in terms of closure and obviously offering an opportunity to meet.
00:55So I'll send this out to all members this afternoon, but just wanted to make you aware that we've received this email.
