00:00Here we are, we're out at Brendan Hardy's farm with his DVS-D260-46, serial number 2000,
00:07which we're pretty proud that we've produced that many serial numbers.
00:10Just going to point out a few things about our deep blade system on the bar,
00:13and I'll just go to the time to show you that now.
00:16Obviously our deep blade system has the three slots that create the deep blade system.
00:22Our first slot is created by our blade at the front,
00:24which we currently have on here is a five to seven blade set in the six inch setting.
00:29So it's in the six inch setting, it'll be digging five inches into the soil.
00:33We have the ability to adjust the blade up and down, an inch up or down,
00:37depending on what size blade, we do a five to seven or a seven to nine inch blade.
00:42Now behind that is our fertiliser boot with a stainless steel tube,
00:45which is allowing, in this case, the fertiliser to be deep banded deep down below the seed,
00:51and he also has liquid running to the front as well that can be deep banded below the seed.
00:55Our second part of our deep three slot system is our closing tool,
01:01which as you can see here is set with a nice rounded bull nose,
01:06which goes along and closes our first slot and creates a nice firm seed bed for the seed to be placed on.
01:12The relationship between the height of this and the press wheel allows us to have precise seed setting
01:18to make sure the seed is in the precise seed depth as we go along.
01:23Also on here, we have the ability here to place a liquid fertiliser or a wetting agent with the seed.
01:29In this case, I think it'll be wetting agent, so a non-wetting soil, so we can get a good seed germination.
01:34Our third part of our three slot system is our covering wheel, which follows along behind,
01:40and that allows us to move the soil in a wave movement that covers the seed and presses slightly,
01:47so we have good seed soil contact.
01:50Here we go.
