00:00As long as you can carry on with your native joint, it's good for you.
00:04If you are 39, I think, as I said, you can have a good 15 years with the primary joint replacement
00:10and maybe another 10 years with the revision joint.
00:13You can have 25 years. Up to 75, you can have a good life.
00:17Technology may change. After 25 years, you may get better implants.
00:21The metallurgy is improving. The implant designs are improving.
00:24But the bone, the bone where the implant has to be put, that the bone becomes weak,
00:31a bone starts to wear out, and then you can't put the good implant inside.
00:36So there is no place to hold the implant in the bone or on the bone.
00:41That is the problem.
00:43So whether we will be able to deal with it in next 20, 25 years, I am not sure.
00:48But hopefully, yes, we will be able to offer joint replacement to younger individuals also.
