00:00Well, apparently he didn't like that he only went to the free throw line a couple of times last night, and he does not believe that a player of Joker's caliber who's inside banging should only go to the line a couple of times. Here's Adelman.
00:18And Nicola gets fouled a lot. I'm not sure what was happening tonight, but for him to shoot two free throws with the amount of contact that was going on out there was absolutely crazy. They put smalls on him. Those smalls were allowed to do whatever they want. So I'm really excited for Saturday that we're going to be able to do the same thing with their best players, because if that's the physicality we're allowed to play with, we'll react to it and we will go there.
00:40Oh, you know what's great is that he just opened a can of worms for the Clippers to get more calls because he said they're going to play basically right there in Portuguese. He said we're going to do exactly what they did and we're going to get away with it because we're at home and that's not what's going to happen.
00:56Let me tell you why. Because no one respects this kid yet. He walked into this job and everyone thinks, like, are you kidding? Like, I don't even recognize him as his dad's son. That's how little I respect him. Like, you know, coach, he was an assistant, whatever. Like, let me tell you how much assistants matter in the NBA these days. Less than the water boy. Okay.
01:24So this assistant kid who got lucky because his dad was an NBA coach for 30 years. That's why he got a job as an assistant and no one respects him. So when he cries, no one listens.
01:40Right. See, he is, as you said, he has set himself up for potentially a problem. So where it was, where on one hand, a coach with maybe some stature, you know, if a Kerr or a Tibbs or a Popovich, who of course today stepped down, isn't going to coach anymore.
01:54Right. One of those guys makes a statement about the officiating. It kind of, it gets taken a little bit more. Now I bet you the guys who are doing the game tomorrow night and the head of officiating have probably gotten together and said, who does this guy think he is calling us out?
02:08That's right. That's exactly right.
02:10And you know what he's going to say now. So if he wants, and not only that, he goes out and like reveals this grand plan that, oh, we're going to go rough up Kawhi and Harden.
02:19Yeah. We're going to go rough up their best players.
02:20Good luck with that. Now you just told him to watch your guys roughing up their players.
02:28You just told him that they're going to rough them up.
02:30And let me tell you, he should have cut it off at the point when he said, all he had to do was say, how is this guy who has a triple double every night and scores at will every night?
02:42How is this guy going to line twice in LA? And so is he going to get any love in Denver? Cause all he had to do was say that like, is this guy going to get any love on his home floor?
02:54Like they gave them love all night with not calling anything on him. He should have left it at that. Instead, he said, we're going to go play dirty and do it the exact same thing to them and see how it goes.
03:07And what they're going to do is now they're going to cut that right off because no one respects this kid yet. He's got to earn his stripes. And don't tell me he's earned them already being an assistant.
03:18There isn't one person on the face of the earth that even knew he was an assistant coach. Not one person alive, including everyone that works here, all these geniuses. Not one person knows that that kid even is, I didn't even know he was alive. I didn't even know he had a son. I really didn't. That's how little they respect him.
03:41Let me tell you what, more people know us than know him. Know that. Know that shack right there as sure as I'm sitting here. I can't go around the corner, but no one knows him. No one knows who this Adelman kid is. And in fact, when I'm listening to him, it's like looking at like a teenager giving me advice on TV. Like he looks like he's about 12 years old. Someone needs to tell him. Like he looks like a child. He really does. Is there anything else mean? Did you want me to?
04:11Did I, I mean, in terms of. No, I don't, I don't think you need to. Yeah.
