00:00Waves Summit 2025 has provided a vital platform for Indian gaming startups to showcase their
00:16innovations and gain crucial support. A standout participant is Zoopy, India's leading skill-based
00:22gaming platform, which has transformed the landscape with its online skill-based Ludo
00:28and nationwide reach. Blending cultural relevance with innovation, Zoopy continues to grow by
00:35offering engaging casual games to a diverse audience.
00:40We at Zoopy have always had this vision to bring culturally relevant games in India to life
00:49and that is what we intend to continue doing in future. Not only through Zoopy, at Zoopy,
00:54which we are already doing, we have sort of revived a game of Ludo which was always India's
01:02own game but sort of becoming extinct but now is today revived because we at Zoopy did that
01:07work. We want to replicate this through multiple Indian game developers which are there who are
01:12working on making games which are culturally relevant to India. We want to support them
01:17and this event at Waves has given us that platform to bring these game developers of India and support
01:24them in a way so that they can take Indian games to global audience.
01:28Waves Summit 2025 in Mumbai has brought together creators, policy makers and industry leaders to shape the
01:37future of India's media and entertainment landscape. A key highlight is the booming gaming sector, with young
01:47developers showcasing original games under the government of India's Create in India challenge, redefining the
01:54future of Indian gaming.
01:55I think Create in India has to do with ideation and innovation and what we are seeing is that in the
02:03online skill gaming industry a lot of the innovation and ideation is happening because if you look at the
02:10background of the founders of most of the online skill gaming industry they are a younger lot who are you know
02:17engineers passed out from the IITs and they have come out with innovative products.
02:23At the core of Waves 2025 is a strong focus on the growing role of data in content creation.
02:34Industry leaders highlight that behind every immersive gaming experience is a tech driven ecosystem shaping the future.
02:42India has a pretty big share of gamers and a lot of them have migrated from being on the phones to actually playing
02:51heavy games on the laptops, network based games, so it's a great space for us as Intel.
02:57And knowing that we have a young population in this country and a lot of times gamers are spending a lot of time in front of
03:05computers and the innovation that we can bring for them not only on performance and power and just the visual and audio
03:11capability but also ergonomics and things like that is really a great place for us to go innovate.
03:16The Waves summit highlights the importance of global collaboration in gaming.
03:23Industry leaders are discussing how to harness local talent and resources to make India a hub for internationally acclaimed game development.
03:33Our thesis remains that we will make in India but we will build for the world.
03:41And the idea would remain that we will use the talent here, the resources here and use that to make games which can be played across the world.
03:48There is connecting people through games whether they are in Brazil or India or USA, they speak the same language and they are playing the same games.
03:57So I think that's our thesis, that's what we believe in and we are very grateful for the government's support on that.
04:04India's gaming industry is set for tremendous growth.
04:07With support from policy makers, content creators and technological advancements, Indian developers are poised to take centre stage globally.
