Alien - ET Truck - Thousands of specialised LED lights have been used to transform a 2007 Chevrolet Suburban into a light show on wheels. TJ Dickenson, of Titusville, Florida, is behind the pimped-out truck, which he refers to as the ‘Boom X’. It features custom LED lights that respond differently to bass, mids, and treble – creating a fully unique light show. TJ, who has been customising trucks since the mid-90s, told Barcroft TV: “I did all this myself. There is no truck or car in the automobile world that’s done to this magnitude.

00:00I did all this myself. I designed it myself and actually in this particular
00:05situation there's no truck or car or Iron Mode wheel in a custom world that's to
00:12this magnitude. What got me into cars is I always see these low riders with the
00:21booming systems and that's what I wanted so that's the goal that I achieved. I'm
00:26TJ Dickinson. I'm the owner of Boom X. It's a 07 Chevy Suburban. The size of the rims are
00:3532-inch three-piece Ford G-Autos. I have six Ground Zero 15 subwoofers and there's 24
00:4410s in there right now. Well my main passion is to go out and do car shows.
00:56There's a couple of thousand LEDs in this truck. Alright what we got going on here is
01:05we have the LEDs in the steering wheel all built in, custom-made steering wheel. We also have
01:11the LEDs on the seats chase all through the whole thing. We also have a custom-made headliner
01:17that also has LEDs chasing through simultaneously and then we have the custom the iPad here that
01:26does all my music. I have a processor, I don't even have a radio, I have a processor that does
01:32high resolution Bluetooth-ing. One of my main features to where I haven't seen done to this
01:39magnitude is where we cut the fenders completely off. We stretched them, we raised them and we
01:44welded them back on there. When I first bought it and it was stock I probably took it to 100 but
01:52now I don't take it over 75 on the highway just because of the tires.
01:58These speakers are actually so big and heavy this door probably weighs about at least 300 pounds.
02:06Basically this whole entire setup is set for a super clean look and a great sound obviously. There's
02:16actually tweeters behind each one of these tans that protrude through these speakers. It's extremely loud
02:24but more importantly as being loud it's crystal clear like a symphony.
02:43I've had the truck almost two years now. Mainly took the longest was the customization of the fenders
02:50and the paint because it took six months to do that and then everything else came in stages of course.
02:58Somebody offered me uh 65 for it or no no I think that he said 70 and I was like I'll think about it
03:06and I'll call you back you know and I just I just couldn't do it. Get somebody seriously here here's
03:11a hundred thousand dollars for your truck. I would have to think about it. I go to shows where you want
03:17to go cruising on the weekend or I just need some bass in my life. I'll just go for a drive whenever
03:24and just turn the stereo up as loud as I can and just enjoy the music.
